Found the following when I logged in this morning:

10:15 pm - Catacombs
I checked my trap and found that I had caught a mouse! I caught a 3 oz. Black Widow Mouse worth 480 points and 10 gold.

The mouse also dropped the following loot:
5 SUPER|brie+ and 3 Radioactive Blue Cheese

That was unexpected to say the least.

Still in the Catacombs and will probably stay here quite awhile and then back to the Forbidden Grove to get runes.

st, you won't catch anything without the Ice Maiden in Dracano. It's set up pretty much so that's the only trap that works there.

So, all you bazillionaires out there, I am almost to 45,500 points (for the swiss army trap) but I am 20,000 gold away. Anyone feeling generous? Even a little will help! Pllllleeeeaaaassssseeeeeee?

I've entered the tower again. Cleared the pawns (but caught two mystic in the process), and am now heading on upward. Knights. . . you're as good as toast!

My tower run is going very well. I'm at 109% right now, and I've already caught all eight technic pawns, both knights, both bishops, and one of the rooks! I just hope that I stay here long enough to equip my checkmate cheese. I'd hate to do so well that I catch my king while I'm at work only to get kicked out

On my last Horn of the evening last night, I caught my Acolyte Mouse! I have been in Dracano since then, and while no luck on the Dragon or Draconic Warden, I have been catching a few Whelpling mice. My Inferno Havarti stock will be sapped by the afternoon, so I'll most likely be hunting in the Isles for pepper seeds and fire salt.

So yea, probably get Zugzwang's at some point. I know have 248,444 gold.

@n_a_h, Just to make sure I'm not misunderstanding you here, if you already have the Mutated Venus Mouse Trap (congrats by the way ) do NOT buy Zugzwangs until you are ready to craft Zugzwang's First Move (where Last Move is a component in it). You've got a lot of stuff coming up real fast that is going to use up your gold and buying an additional trap in there that you can't use for a long, long time isn't going to help.
I think the next step for you is to get the Ambush Trap, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

My gold suffers much less there usually and I still need a few Runes before I can craft my Ice Maiden (Not to mention the stupid Acolyte Mouse ).

@stwin, Well first of all, congrats on your Acolyte Mouse and congrats on your Ice Maiden Trap . I know you're attempting to tackle the Dragon Mouse now which is the mouse I had the second hardest time with in the game. I posted this on your MH wall, but in case you happen to see this post first, it would do you good to boost your catch rate as much as possible here so your Inferno Cheese isn't wasted. Kat and I had to catch our Dragon mice without charms (she had a lot less trouble than I did) and that's an advantage that you should definitely well... take advantage of. Get the best charms you can for this guy!!
I saw you asking about the Dragonbane Charm, and my reply to you on that is only if YOU can craft it. Don't buy it off the Marketplace unless you're truly desperate. You might look into crafting the Empowered Anchor Charm which sounds kind of silly because it's for Balack's Cove, but it's the most powerful charm you can craft in the game and it's cheap!!

@RaMa, Even though I know you got your Swiss Army Mouse Trap this morning, I sent you the 10,000g that I usually send my friends when they first start playing and are in need of gold. However, the rest of us here had to suffer through the game to make our own money to build our traps and such. It's part of the difficultly of the game. So unless Ronza suddenly descends from the sky with uber LE traps and you're just a teeny bit short of gold, I probably won't be sending out any more gifts. Tough love and all that. Builds character.

Yep If you click on the little mini-shield at the top left of the screen, just under the big black and white (or gold if you donated money) shield, it'll give you all the rankings in the game and highlights the one you're on.

Well I broke a new record today for myself. I cleared Wave 1 in about 13 hours. Usually it takes me a day and a half! ... I hope this keeps up so Waves 2 and 3 go just as fast, but knowing my luck now I'll have a worse couple waves than usual.

Yeah... yeah... the latter of the predictions has definitely come true. I cannot get a streak of 6 for the life of me in Wave 3, and consequently, it is going ridiculously slow. Ah well. I will hopefully finish up Wave 3 tomorrow, catch my Warmonger, and then hit the Market to farm Papyrus.

ETA: As if this post wasn't already long enough, two more people posted while I was typing this monstrosity up.

In Zugzwang's Tower, once you catch the King, you get kicked out of the area back into the Seasonal Garden. (That's the really short, simple answer. )

Should you fail to catch your Dragon Mouse (heaven forbid), it would be wise to get the absolute best tactical, hydro, physical, and shadow traps to make farming peppers and such go a lot faster.
You already have Rewers Riposte, which is by far the best tactical so you're good there.
I don't know if you can craft the Double Diamond Adventure trap (the upgrade of the Explosive Toboggan) but if you can, it's by far and away the best Hydro Trap you can get right now.
But most importantly, you need to go after the Enraged Rhinobot (upgrade of the Rhinobot) which will REALLY help in the Derr Dunes.
After that, if you can be patient and farm enough gold to get the Cackle Lantern Trap, that'd be a good investment as well.
And last but not least, if you happen to get one Ember from the Dragonic mice, you can add the Molten Shrapnel Base to your list as well. Overwhelmed yet?

That would be correct. No loot drop. *shrugs* At this point, I just want to get past the 12-19 runs. Maybe once I reach 20 -25, I'll catch something with a loot drop.

OK, thanks. Yea, I can't by Zugzwang's yet anyway because I only have 278,000 gold. Zugzwangs is like 400,000 so it's definetly not even an option yet.

I'm in Training Grounds and I just got Plankrun's Dojo notes.

I've caught both of my rooks, and am now waiting for my queen. I've got a pretty good chance of nabbing her too, as I've got my amplifier at 94% still. Hopefully I can finish this tower run before tonight.

Ram, I think I'm gonna agree with Rachel here. Half the fun of the game is saving up money to buy these things for yourself. If you desperately need money, let me know, otherwise, I'm cutting the mousehunt apron strings . You shouldn't have too much trouble now that you've got your SAMT.
