Rachel, given your circumstances, I would definitely go after the Chrome Rhinobot if you can manage it. It'll save you from crafting the Rhinobot, and the Enraged Rhinobot. It'll also serve you well as you continue to go through the Tribal Isles, The Seasonal Garden, The Crystal Library, The Fiery Warpath, AND Muridae Market.
I don't remember what the point requirement for the Chrome Rhinobot was, but you'll get a LOT more use out of that in the next year, than you'd get out of the Warpath Thrasher.

Ram, the Chrome Rhinobot, definitely. The Warpath Thrasher outside of the Warpath is not that great. The Chrome Rhinobot is now either the 2nd or 3rd best physical trap in the game and is really gonna help you fly through the areas that require physical traps.
That seems like a confirmed answer to get the Rhinobot! Thanks!!!
Love God, love people
Well, I just barely made the 4 million mark which was my goal before Ronza came. I was at about 3.9 million and I had 36 red envelopes. I tore them all open and that upped me to 4 mil!
I definetly am going to get the Jade base. Hopefully, I'll catch the stupid Costumed Dragon (grrr) soon and get the upgraded base and buy another Jade base so I have both. I figure I'll get the Chrome Rhinobot too.
In other news, I'm up to 4 Dragon's Breath charms. I want a couple more before I go after the Costumed Dragon mouse again. About how long is Ronza going to stay around, does anyone know? I need to get that Costumed Dragon before Ronza leaves but I also need to catch the Rockstar mouse. I wish all of this wasn't happening at once. Fortunately, I don't need two Dragon Seals. I decided not to get the Dragon ACROYNM skin. I just don't like it anymore. I thought it would be cool at first. I use the ACROYNM so much that I thought it'd be neat to have another skin. But, I really don't need it and it looks tacky and getting just one Dragon Seal has been giving me so much trouble that I really don't even want to try to get a second one. And I prefer that upgraded base to the skin.
EDIT:
According to a post on the forums, Ronza is leaving on THE 3RD!!!! That gives me three days to get that pesky Costumed Dragon or I'm screwed. Forget the Rockstar for now; he'll be back when Ronza returns. I HAVE to get that seal!!
^^ My feelings right now.
About how long is Ronza going to stay around, does anyone know?
She will be here til Friday. (It's in the news story.)
I must say I was overwhelmed by the prices. Digs, looks like our wish is fulfilled, that chrome rhinobot is impressive however overpriced. That jade base looks really powerful, it is very powerful, if you don't include the tournament bases, it's prob on the tip of the sword. Chrome rhinobot is around same strength as Sandtail Sentinel, I think it's a viable replacement.
Anyone know what the grime harm mentioned does?
The warpath thrasher seems amazing at first, well it is quite amazing, but the deteriorating power proves to be weaker, it'll be like ZT amplifier. Tacky glue chrome is seriously troll, ony possible place to use it is probably KG, or anywhere else with weak mouse?
Overall, I couldn't even buy all the traps, missing the thrasher since well, the base minimum u needed for both supertraps is 5.5mil, last year, the most expensive trap was 2mil arcane trap...significant overdose,4mil could get everything in the past...I agree with Digs, there were really little variety of traps this year and I think the ultimate luck charm is getting old, not that I am complaining
Anyone know what the grime harm mentioned does?
I posted it up above but it's waaaay up there so I'll post it again.
Chrome Charm
Power: 0
Power Bonus: 3%
Attraction Bonus: none
Luck: 5
Consumed Upon: Encountering a Mouse
Compared to the Lucky Power Charm which isn't quite as good at 800g a piece, a lot of people on the MH forums have been saying they'll be stocking up on these.
Tacky glue chrome is seriously troll, ony possible place to use it is probably KG, or anywhere else with weak mouse?
This trap was meant to be a joke. Fans have been asking for it for years and it's finally here.
So I got my Warpath Thrasher and it's cracking me up. The design is hilarious. The good news is that upon entering Wave 3, it is significantly more powerful and lucky than the Monstrobot. Ha! I'll be curious to see how quickly the power drops as I catch stuff, but someone pointed out on the forums that the luck doesn't drop (haven't confirmed that yet) and I have a massive 47 luck right now. So it will be interesting.
On the flip side of things, I'm a bit wary about my initial love of the Dragon Jade Base. Sure if you're a SB+ user or in an area where the cheese gets you close to 100% attraction, the lack of attraction on the base isn't a big deal. But for me in the FW using Gouda, that lack of attraction may hurt as I need streaks of mice to advance quickly. So we'll see how this goes.
Oh yeah....
6:32 pm - Fiery Warpath
I won 15 Firecracker Charms in the Daily Draw.
.... yay me.
Anybody have any idea when the Chinease New Year event ends? I hope it's not when Ronza leaves, cuz I still need more fire cracker charms, and the calligraphy mouse, but I'm in Ronza's shop after the Rockstar right now...
Which is more pressing do you think?
Edit: Did you guys read the description on the Tarnished Charms? I thought that was creative.
Although these dull and stale charms do not look too exciting right now, their tarnish can be polished off by equipping them while hunting to reveal a chrome shine. Each successful hunt will polish a charm, adding a lucky Chrome Charm to your inventory.

I'm a bit wary about my initial love of the Dragon Jade Base.
I couldn't agree more. When coupled with the Chrome Rhinobot, you still have 0% attraction bonus, and an ultimately stale rating. This means that it's almost impossible to build up a streak greater than 3. The key to using this trap setup successfully in the Warpath would be to build up a streak with SuperBrie, and then use a commander's charm.
I really wish that I had bought the Warpath Thrasher instead of this Chrome Rhinobot now.
EDIT: I'm trying to make the best of a bad job, and so this is what my current plan is. I MUST have an attraction bonus in the warpath. Otherwise I'm never going to get anywhere. Along those lines, I've equipped the Runic Base. When coupled with my Chrome Rhinobot I have the following stats:
Power: 7564
Luck: 39
Attraction: 10%
Cheese: Ultimately Stale
So it's got as much power as the Enraged Rhinobot did when coupled with the spellbook base, but it's got a better attraction rating. I've also caved and invested in some "Super Warpath Scout Charms." These will help to make up for the power difference, and will hopefully allow me to get a streak of 7 (if all goes as planned). Then I'll switch out for a commander's charm and hope for the best. I have got to start making a dent in Wave 3, or I'm never going to get through this place.
At any rate, it can't hurt to try something new when all the old stuff has failed.
Alternatively, I could just start using SB as bait. That would get me close to a 100% attraction rate, but I'm still not sure if it would be as conducive to building up streaks.
I need to start taking some more surveys to get more SB. Because I'm thinking that that's the only way that I'm going to get through the warpath with any remote bit of success.
EDIT: Crud, I had an FTA after a streak of 4. This new plan seems to be working for the most part, but I think that FTA's are going to be inevitable.

If you are going for the absolute fool-proof setup for getting streaks...
Chrome Rhinobot
Dragon Jade Base
Super Warpath ______ Charm
SuperBrie+
It's still not a 100% guarantee that you'll make a streak of 7, but that gives you the highest chance. (And if your goal is to get the Gargantuamouse asap, that's the way to go! )
As far as your current setup is concerned, I'm intrigued by the Runic Base (with 10% attraction) and I'm curious how that will work for you. It's not a base I would have thought of, but it looks like a good choice. I know that my typical Monstrobot + Magma + Warpath Charm + Gouda = 10% attraction works pretty well at getting several streaks.
If you find you are STILL having trouble getting past a streak of 6 on a semi-regular basis (approx 2 per wave), my best advice to you is to get your tournament team motivated and get that Golden Tournament Base!
I really wish that I had bought the Warpath Thrasher instead of this Chrome Rhinobot now.
You can still get the Warpath Thrasher too!!
That gives me three days to get that pesky Costumed Dragon or I'm screwed. Forget the Rockstar for now; he'll be back when Ronza returns. I HAVE to get that seal!!
I am cheering you on and crossing all my fingers and toes!!! You can do it! How close are you to 6 charms?
OK, I'm up to seven Dragon's Breath charms. I'm feeling a little better now. I still have six Nitropop charms left. I'm hoping to get at least one more Dragon's Breath potion if not two with these before going after the Costumed Dragon.
Currently, I'm using the ASG + Candy Cane base because that setup has high attraction (10%), fairly high power, and high luck (27 because I have the Lucky Golden Shield) so I get more loot drops. I'm debating switching to a higher powered trap before going after the Costumed Dragon. Since the Dragon Seal is a 100% loot drop (as far as I know ), luck doesn't really matter. I'm thinking I might stay with the ASG though. It does have really high attraction: the highest of any of my traps and all of my traps that are higher powered than the ASG have 0% Attraction. I don't know. From what I've read on the forums, attraction is good to have.
Also, according to another forum post, potion drops have gone up since the beginning. It does seem like it from what I can tell. I blew through 22 Nitropop charms and only got one Dragon's Breath potion. Now, I'm getting about one DB potion for every 4 - 7 NP charms.
Man, I should stop reading the forums. It's really getting me down. According to one post, it took someone 29 (!!!) DB charms before getting the Seal. I'm crying for him! Someone else said that someone crunched the stats and the chances of getting it are about 1 in 16.
I don't know.
You can still get the Warpath Thrasher too!!
Not unless a miracle happens. I've got about 300K in gold, so I'm only off by 1.8 million Not even the catacombs could give me that. The only way I could see myself getting that kind of money is if I suddenly found like 100 pieces of Inferno Havarti or 100 pieces of Rumble.

...or a few pieces of Tier 8 cheese... that's the only way I'm gonna do it, but I really want to get the rest of the firecracker charms and I'm not sure I can do a large enough guantlet run in a day or two, despite however many potions I may have now....
Edit: I'm about 500K behind the warpath thrasher.... really kinda starting to want it after reading about that bonus...
But I also really need a new Shadow Trap

My bad, I'm friends with another person who shares the same name as you and I looked at his gold amount instead of yours. Sorry about that.
Man, I should stop reading the forums.
Yes you should. The forums are only gonna show you the worst of the worst cause no one is gonna post "Hey, I got the Costumed Dragon on my first try!!" And there's no way 1/16 is accurate cause I don't know anyone on this forum who's had that many pieces of cheese and not caught it. I think the most I've seen is 5.
And now I see you're finally trying for your Costumed Dragon mouse. *cheers NAH on!!*
...or a few pieces of Tier 8 cheese... that's the only way I'm gonna do it
Wolf, no one else has said they need help with anything, so I just sent you 900k gold (the max you can send) and I'm PRAYING it will let me send the rest tomorrow.
ETA: Never mind! I was able to send back to back, so now you should have enough for your trap.
Thanks FK! But you really didn't have to do that!. Greatly appreciated... however...
(Like I said I sure do owe you now )
