Well my group may be in a bit of trouble on our tournament. What I hadn't anticipated was first of all, running out of materials for the high point areas, and second, that all the other teams wouldn't run out of materials. I woke up this morning to see we were rank 70. The cutoff for the top 25% is 74. Eeeep!! But I think Kat and I have gathered enough materials to push us back up to safety before the tournament ends in 9 and a half hours.

Still collecting runes... I'm up to 40 now and I have enough peppers for my first batch.

Me and Dot signed up for the Bazaar Burglary Tourney with 3 players. I hope Digs can join, but if not I can understand (school takes a lot of work )

Yea, I got those long ago. I have nine Wight mice and five Lichs.

Well, I think I'm going to head back to the Catacombs. I'd like to get above 4 mil before Ronza comes. It should take me just a few days to do that considering I'm at 3.51 mil right now. I'd love to do some tournaments while I'm there. Anyone on my team down for that? There's a couple Catacombs tournaments coming up soon.

My team managed to stay in the top 25% of that 2 day tourny so 18 more tokens were added to our collection. Yay team!! That brings my personal total up to 142. The only thing I was kind of regretting was that caused us to miss out on all of the 5 person tournaments this weekend but I suspect they'll keep doing that in the future.

Shout out to Lady Arwen who snagged her first Dragon Mouse this weekend!! (Even though I don't think she posts much in this thread.)

Looking forward to the Chinese New Year event this week and perhaps Ronza as well? (If she doesn't come this week it will be next week for sure )

I just crafted my ice maiden and 6 pieces of inferno Harvarti. Currently sitting in Dracano. (I just had a Scavenger drop 7 runes )

If I don't get all the mice in this go I'm likely going to wait til after Ronza gets here (because I'm out of fire salt) to go after more.

The Year of the Dragon is upon us, and the King has chosen to celebrate the Lunar New Year in high style. Rare mice have been spotted, and some of them have even dressed up for the occasion. As the celebration grows louder, only the bravest will remain. Join us for the celebration!

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. We started a tourny and then they started the event.

The area design on the map is cool! I like the dragon running around the outside of the pool.

Speaking of skins anyone else have that glitch where is you use a skin it switches but will say your normal one is in use when you unequip it? If so I've discovered if you hit use with the one you actually have equipped already, you can then equip the normal skin. Just thought you'd all like to know.

The layout of the event seems pretty straightforward.

1. Gather Firecracker Charms (or use the ones stockpiled from New Years)
2. Equip Firecracker Charms to catch Costumed Tiger Mice
3. Use the nitropop potions dropped by the tigers to make nitropop charms
4. Use the nitropop charms to get dragon's breath potions
5. Use dragon's breath potions to catch the costumed dragon

Catching a costumed dragon more or less "ends" the event for you, by giving you what you need to get the ACRONYM skin, which also costs 250 firecracker charms and the dragon seal.

Almost- I noticed they added a new SB only mouse to the event list.

Basically keep your eyes open for the Costumed Dragon and the Calligraphy Mouse (which is SB+ only!).

Just so everybody knows, the dragon's breath charms are NOT one hundred percent! I used my only one and nabbed a Red Envelope Mouse. I was kinda hoping I'd finish the event in less than two hours. . .that'd be a record. The universe had other plans

Oh, and FYI, the dragon's breath potion transforms NITRO chamrs, NOT firecracker charms.

Does anyone know what type of cheese is best? I planned on using regular Brie for everything (except that SB+ only mouse). I wonder if Cheddar or Marble or Swiss would work. I have tons of that. Also, I figure it's like the rest of the events: basically whatever trap you have will work so I'm using my highest powered one which, now, is the Ice Maiden. Although, I might switch to one of my other ones with higher luck.

I also REALLY want that skin. Most of the skins, I don't really care about because I don't use the trap anymore (like the Ambush). However, I use the ACRONYM all the time. Also, it doesn't cost gold so I won't be out anything buying it.

I have almost 98 Firecracker charms to start out with.
