I didn't get the Pumpkin Pummeler, so I can't craft the Cackle-Lantern Trap...

I did manage to get all the pieces, excluding one, for the Ancient Box Trap, so I'm going back for the last one, then I'm gonna buy the last blueprint piece from Cape Clawed and then I'm gonna craft it. :)

Hmm, I guess I could go for the Enraged RhinoBot and the Molten Shrapnel Base.

By the way, what's the best way to get Stale SuperBrie+? For the Enraged RhinoBot, I'll need 48... :P

The Cook Mouse (and the other SS Huntington II mice) I'm waiting for my hydro upgrade... and the Frosty Snow Mouse I might wait til the Christmas event depending on what I accomplish between then and now.

Good plan! :D

By the way, what's the best way to get Stale SuperBrie+?

Aside from being sent some as a very random daily gift, the best way to get stale SB is to purposely stale Runic Cheese.

Last night I crushed the warriors and moved onto the archers. I'm flying through Wave 3 now. ;)) 0-0-22-46-19-10

Okay, I crafted the Ancient Box Trap. :D

I guess...my next plan of action will be getting Stale SuperBrie+...

Tier 1 - Your best setup.

Tier 2 - Should at least have: Rhinobot
Better: Enranged Rhinobot
Best: Sandstorm Monstrobot

Tier 3 - Should at least have: Horrific Venus Mouse Trap
Better: Zugzwang's First Move
Best: Sphynx Wrath

Tier 4 - Same as Tier 3

Tier 5 - Should at least have: Gorgon Trap
Best: Clockapult of Time

Tier 6 - Best: ACRONYM Trap

Tier 7 - Should at least have: Arcane Spear Gun
Better: Heat Bath
Best: Oasis Water Node

Tier 8 - Best: Ancient Box Trap

Interestingly enough, I learned recently in a FBF that while luck increases your drop rate in most places (particularly the Laboratory and Tribal Isles), it's been really dialed down in the King's Gauntlet. So much so that a fresh rating may be the most important stat to aim for here. I didn't know that until a few weeks ago.

Well, as vibrantly as this run started out, it has quickly went down the drains. I'm currently at 70% for my amplifier. I am so upset at these mystic rooks! I've only caught 2/15, which is WAY WAY WAY below what I should be nabbing. While waiting for those doofus-rook mice to come, I've released the technic mice up through bishops (and have already caught one of those!).

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

This is quickly becoming my least favourite place in the game (and I thought that that spot was firmly entrenched in the Acolyte Realm!)

EDIT: Nabbed both of my rooks, but with my amplifier at 41%, my chances of catching a Queen and a King are quite low. I still have hope so we'll wait and see how things go tomorrow.

Well so far today I caught the Stealth, Dancer, and Black Mage Mice. (The last within the last 15 minutes.) And I'm up to 11,899, 843 points.

I hope you do better tomorrow Digs! :(

(Edit and the Ignis Mouse- I really do like Aqua + Acronym... I know you guys don't like that base, but I sure do! I also really love this location, as hard as it is it sure is fun... It's like 8 different locations without the travel cost :D)

@DiGs, something you might want to consider is switching to a more powerful base when you finish your pawns. Either the Tiki Base or Molten Shrapnel Base could potentially do better. (I used Magma which has less power than both.) You may have a few more stales here and there, but the tradeoff could be that you actually catch the mice that come by your trap. Up to you. :)

@wolf, I'm glad you like the Gauntlet. That place is probably one of my least favorite places in the game and I had a lucky successful first run through. :)) And I'm also glad you like the Aqua Base. It didn't do much for me, but if you find something that works well for you, that's fantastic. :D

Well, I completed another Warpath run earlier today. No trap drops. Have moved to the Market for my 5 Papyrus and have 3 so far.

I actually had a couple charms mysteriously vanish earlier and I reported it to the devs, but after I sent in my report I realized that part of it was inaccurate so I hope my report isn't disregarded altogether.

Oh yes I love this location... it's very good for relieving boredom.

I'm now 99.99% sure I can make it to Tier 6 if I strategize right. I caught the Aquos Mouse, and a second Ignis dropped a Tier 6 potion. So as long as you're right FK and ACRONYM is the best for Tier 6 I shouldn't have too much trouble there... And the higher the Tier the more the points, which means I'm closing in on my Hydro upgrade...

Edit!

1:37 am - King's Gauntlet
I crafted 1 Ancient Spear Gun and learned the recipe to make: Ancient Spear Gun!

Currently I'm on Tier 6 (and I used 8 of my 9 left over SB for this Tier ) Currently Missing: Rogue, Terra, Paladin, Necromancer, Fiend, and Eclipse Mice. And the points gains here left me in shock :-o No Tier 7 potions yet... If I get one I'd like to try out my new weapon :D

Tier 7 and 8 make up for the pittance that you get from mice down below. One of them ( I can't remember its name, only its appearance) is worth over 50K gold, and of course the Eclipse is worth 300K ;)) My advice to you would be to go into the seventh tier with AT LEAST 10 pieces of cheese, any less than that, and you risk falling off the tower. Even ten pieces isn't a sure fire thing, but it gives you a pretty good chance of getting at least one Tier VIII potion (and lets face it, if you go in with two or three pieces of Tier VIII cheese you'll only get insanely wealthy in a very short period of time ;) )

By some stroke of divine intervention, I was able to nab my Mystic Queen. My trap power was less than 1500 when I did it, so I honestly have no idea how it happened. My amplifier sits at 18% right now, so I have a bleak chance of nabbing a Mystic King if I attract one before too long. On the technic side of things, the rooks have been released, which is not good at all. I don't think my trap is going to be strong enough to nab one right now, but if I do, it'll kill my amplifier.

Come here Kingy-Kingy-Kingy. . . I have a nice piece of cheese for you!!!!!

Well I never got my Tier 7 potion... (or the Paladin) So after much debate I spent the night in the Lagoon (which proved fruitless) and headed back to Elub shores...

(But not for too long, I'll be back... ;) )

And my tower run goes down in flames. By some miracle I caught a Queen wth my amplifier around 10% ( :-o ), which more or less destroyed my amplifier. It ended up around 3%, at which point I just gave up and left.

I'm back in the Garden, where Fall has recently set in. Winter is a better season, and the season will change in the wee hours of Thursday morning.

I just got a shock I was hunting in Elub shores and went to Cape Clawed to pick up some extra cheese.

When I blew my horn it said I caught a new mouse, I realized I never left Cape Clawed! Well I got the Trailblazer XD.
