Personal update, guess we're not spoilering, works for me. ;))

600ft - Hunt #151 - Moving onto the Bombing Run :)

Definitely running behind everybody else in how many feet I've gone per hunt, but that's ok. Had a string of bad luck where I missed two Mammoths and a Yeti back to back and that set me back 55ft I think.

But even though I've had some pretty bad luck in the tunnels and the bulwark, I think I'm liking the new area. Looking forward to getting the bases crafted to make future runs a lot easier. :)

I'd also have to say that the descriptions for the new mice are the best I've seen in a while. I especially liked Princess Fist.... the nod to Iron Man was quite clever. ;))
And I noticed that the Invaders were renamed to Berglings. (Zerglings much? :)) Starcraft reference for those who don't get it.)

My one complaint is they REALLY need to fix the new mice and crowned mice pop-ups so we can post them. They don't show up at all if you go on a hunt with a friend, and I think I saw other people mention that the ones you do get are glitched right now?

FK, I've had at least two new catches today and a couple more in the last few days that I haven't been able to post because the page refreshes before I can click the link. It's rather frustrating.

847 feet, Hunt #144

While the Bombing Run is a long section, I think it's going to go much more quickly than the Bulwark. At least I'm not getting pushed back nearly as much.

Spoiler
I'm also thinking that the Magnet Base will be wonderful for this section, because it will attract more Tunnel Rats, and in addition to giving high advances when you catch them, they don't knock you back if you miss.

I'm still farming for gold in the Great Gnarled Tree. So far I've got 503,499 out of 632,700.

I'm having a real problem getting Gnarled Potions. /:) I used to get them by the dozens. Is there a certain cheese/place/set-up that's better for getting Gnarled Potion drops?

Yes, indeed Eli! This section is going MUCH more quickly than the Bulwark is. I've moved almost 100 feet since I got in here a few hours ago. (BTW, congrats on doing better than any of us :P ).

Arming Sticky Charms overnight and hoping for the best. 927 feet and hunt #172. That first chest is getting too close for comfort. If nothing else, I'm going to get my Magnet Base out of this run. ;))

Are suppossed to be hard to attract or do I just have bad luck with them? I even caught a second harvester earlier and still haven't attracted one...

Edit wait a minute! They're Spring?! But I swear I double checked that 3 times! Gah... *depressedly returns to Iceberg....

Loving all the little references. :D

Moving along. 442 Toy Sylvan. Hapless Marionette and Wound Up White are close behind.

You must have missed my post in reply to your first one trying to warn you. Sorry wolf, I guess I should have posted on your Corkboard or something. :(

Quite happy to see the Bombing Run is far less painful than the other two areas so far (at least for me but maybe my luck is finally turning around ;)) ). I made very good progress tonight. :)

930ft - Hunt #193

I haven't used any drillbits yet. Reading about the different areas in Larry's description made me nervous about the Zealot Mice, so I was kind of saving it for that area. We'll see what happens. ;))

@FK, I did miss it :( I feel better in the fact that someone tried to warn me though :P

OK, I'm obviously behind everybody by a lot #Hunt 35, 265ft, using wax charm all the way, or at least trying to, that MK1, not that great of a trap I must say, I am using it...

Wil, it actually does better than the OWN does. . . but yeah, outside this area it's not that great.

I did really well overnight! The Bombing Run is almost (key word being "almost") easy compared to the Bulwark. Currently on hunt 195 and at a depth of 932 feet.

I did fairly well overnight. Just under 100 feet deeper.

1,011 feet, Hunt #187 :)

I'm curious as to what the effect of the Remote Detonator Base will be. Will it attract or divert the Bomb Squad mice? Keep the Brutes away? Who knows?

ETA: Apparently, it's been discovered. ;))

Spoiler
It times cave-ins so that you move forward and not back. I have yet to see a cave-in so we'll see how much I want it after this run.

And my personal progress:
1294ft - Hunt 253.
I'm about to lose my first treasure chest, but I figured it'd be nearly impossible if not completely impossible the first run through. In fact, the only one I'm really holding out hope for is the last one.

Oh, and I'm getting a real kick out of the Easter eggs hidden in the ice as I travel through. ;))

Thanks for those links, Fantasia. That'll help me when I start debating what to craft after this run. ;))

I'm currently at 1,270 feet on hunt #239. Most definitely NOT getting the Treasure Chest this time. I'm hoping for the other two. I'm determined to make it to the end. ;))

Also, I think some people have made it through in 275 hunts or fewer because I have seen spoilers as to what is inside the Treasure Chest, but how they made it that quickly I've no idea. ;))
