I did a solo tournament yesterday. I completed in the top 50%. I caught a Forever Alone mouse on a trap check and a Juliyes mouse on a trapcheck. In all, I only caught two mice, a Juliyes and a Forever Alone, on horn sounds. I switched to a different trap toward the end though and I immediately started catching more Valentine's mice (that Juliyes and all the ones on horn sounds). I was using the Hydro trap with SB+ hoping to catch the mice I hadn't yet caught on SSH. I switched to the Chrome Rhinbot + Dragon Jade base because according to the wiki, you should use your strongest and luckiest setup for the Valentines mice. I joined another solo tournament that starts in three hours.

daughter of the king: I caught my first Never Alone with SB+ and the ASG (trying to catch an SB+ only mouse while I was at it). I've also caught a couple with the Chrome Rhinobot + Gouda (trying to get a Gouda and SB+ only mouse).

I decided not to participate in a solo tournie today, as I finished Wave 3 sooner than I expected to. I am now in wave four, with 9 more Theurgy Warden Guards to go.

Despite the fact I've been gone for an hour and a half and I'll be leaving again before the tourney is over with, I have hope of landing at least in the top 50%. I just caught a forever alone mouse and jumped to 48th place. The cut off for the top 25% is 71 in my tourney. So we shall see. I'm hoping I'll catch at least one more event mouse and I can stay at least in the top 50%. I miss hunting with the rest of the team though.

Dot, I caught my first Forever Alone mouse with Gouda in the Market, so SB+ isn't required, but based on the tournament winners, it looks like they're definitely more attracted to it. As far as trap setup goes, just use your best one.

@DiGs, good luck with the Warmonger!

Kat and I are doing halfway decently in our individual tournaments (she's in (3) and I'm in (2). We both shied away from (1) cause it had over 1000 people signed up for it. ). But it definitely looks like you won't have much of a chance to get over 50% unless you're either very lucky or have SB+ armed. SB+ tournaments just aren't my favorite.

Anyone else besides the two of us trying the solo tournies?

I'm up for one starting in 12 minutes, hopefully it goes better than it did last night This time I'm going to the SS Huntington II after my last few mice there. Also I got the Forever alone mouse last night. This morning I was in the Nerg Plains after seeds.

FK, here's a question for you. Increased Luck traditionally means increased loot drops. Do Ultimate Luck Charms correlate to an increase in trap part loot drops from the warmonger?

Prior to the release of Monger Charms, yes, I did use Ultimate Luck Charms though I'm not sure it was ever proved they increased your drop rate of trap parts. If it did, it was only marginal. But as the Warmonger dropped more Ultimate Luck Charms, I decided it was a good use.

Well, I came in 30th place and Kat came in 26th place, so we both made the top 25% Ara's doing one now as well but not the same one as wolf. wolf, good luck on your run!

I should not have said anything, because I haven't gotten an event mouse since I did. Hopefully I'll make the top 50 though

Awesome Nah! I got the top 50, which puts me at 11 tolkens (I bought a trap skin).

I forgot to mention this earlier, but I still need a Crush, should it appear as the gift of the day sometime soon... I have one, but I need one to get the Crushed still.

Hust finished my FW run, so now in muridae and no, I don't get any trap loot from the minder which kinda sucks... but hey, at least I got a Monger

I think the area is pretty straight-forward. Collect building material from the mice, and then rebuild the buildings. There isn't really a strategy. I like to use the area as a break from the warpath, so I don't really know how long it would take somebody to complete the area if they were doing it at one time.

I'm pretty frustrated with the lack of decent tournies right now. There's only one non-valentines tournament going on today, and that's a furoma one. I'm really itching to do another tournie. Wolf, Dot, you two up for doing one after the Valentines Event is over? Maybe one of those extended Tribal Isles ones?
