I leave for a few days and everything goes crazy! I'm glad that more of the new area has been released. I'll probably head that way once I finish this Warpath run and spend a bit of time in the Market.
Speaking of the Warpath, I am over halfway through the final wave! I will probably be through by morning if my luck holds. This has been quite a trip.

Yay stwin!!! Can't wait to see which trap piece you get. Woohoo!
Well, as of this morning, I've caught the four new Iceburg Mice. Clearly not super rare like the last three were (thank goodness). I also found that the ship hull parts are showing up on the 'Special' page and the pieces for the new trap are showing up on your 'Crafting -> Trap Parts' page.
I have 4 Wire Spools, 2 Heating Oil, and 0 Frosty Metals so far.
I am also 7 mice away from getting a Silver Crown on the Incompetent Ice Climber Mouse. Fastest Silver Crown in a new area ever.....
Well judging by the rate that people are getting hull parts, my guess is that we'll be here for at least nine more days. Because of that (and because I've gotten all of the mice in this area) I'm heading back to the warpath to either finish this run, or to get to the sweet spot.

I caught the Warmonger. He dropped an Oasis Bead. I guess I'll be crafting the OWN soon so I can join the hunt in the Slushy Shoreline.
I'm going to sit in the Market for the rest of the day and see how I do gathering building supplies. Currently, I have none, but I have only caught one mouse.

Eli, I didn't know this until recently, but Super Brie is AMAZING at attracting the building supply mice. Much much better than gouda.

I've caught all the new mice except the Sabotuer. And there's still more mice to be introduced with the Ice Berg I'm sure.

That's about what I came up with too, but it will depend on how many people leave once they've completed whatever they came to the Slush to do.
I'm heading back to the warpath...
You're not going to get your trap first?
I caught the Warmonger.
I said it elsewhere, but I'll say it again here too... Congrats on finishing your first Warpath run! Have fun in the Muridae Market.

Agreed. Hope you get your Saboteur soon!
So I am currently up to....
78 War Scraps
11 Interlocking Hull Fragments
6 Wire Spools
3 Heating Oil
3 Frosty Metal
I'm definitely getting close to my trap, but it'll depend on how lucky I get with my attraction of the right mice. (And then of course catching them too ) I will probably stick it out in the Shoreline for a while now as I can see that the base blueprints are also going to require the same types of crafting materials to purchase as the trap. But I'm also thinking I may spend the nights or maybe this weekend in the Warpath just to keep making more gold cause the mice there are worth more.
On a completely unimportant note, I crossed the 500,000,000 point mark. Halfway to 1 billion points.
I need 2 more wire spools to reach the trap.
49 war scraps and 9 interlocking hull fragments.
Congrats on your first Warmonger ST!

Why are you getting it? The OWN is much better.

Speaking of the OWN, I have just crafted it. I also finished rebuilding the Cheese Shop in the Market. It was worth using the SB+ to finish that thing so quickly, especially since I got 30 more as a reward.
DiGs, I would think the new trap's power and luck bonus in the new areas would be worth the meager price. Besides, it's called the Steam Laser Mk. I, which leads me to think it will be upgradable in the near future.
I'm camping out in the Shoreline now. Hoping to make some progress towards completing what there is of the area.
How many Softserve Charms should I buy? Any cheese recommendations? Also, what do you all think

Well the stats are better on the OWN for sure, but I thought they said this one would be better against the Iceburg Mice, kind of like Zurreal's Folly is required for Zurreal even though the stats are horrible and you won't use it for anything else. Maybe not, but I'm getting it anyways.
stwin, I'm using Gouda and that's working for me just fine. I've almost used 100 charms so far. As to your spoiler, I have no idea.
Plus, the new trap is clearly going to be upgradable; it's Mark I. It might be so fantastic now, but it could be fantastic later. I say, why not if you can get the parts?

I'm failing with that DDA...omp...I'm like the only baron above here without OWN?
Sighz...that DDA, missing quite a bit, and with that dragon jade, not that great of a combo
Even so, still better than nothing, the new trap doesn't look any good, so yeah, I wonder what the bases will be like

And until about a week ago. . . that would have been perfectly okay . I'm so glad that they released an area where people can actually use the OWN.
