I watched the second half of FBF recorded today. They lost the first half due to an internet glitch and thus far no one has posted a review on the forums (that I've found).

Here are the few bits I picked up...
~Dan was sharing how they develop how much the mice are worth both gold-wise and point-wise as well as which traps to use in every area. Kind of geeky but cool.
~They did a lot of feedback questions for tournaments which I REALLY WISH I HAD BEEN THERE FOR but ah well. They're thinking about bumping the team max up to 10, but that would probably be it. They want to add a "brag wall" to each team that tallies all of the tournament scores, which would be cool. And they want to make it so the Captains can transfer power so the whole team doesn't have to be dissolved.
~Finally at the end, they put on all of their mittens and scarves and talked about how incredibly chilly it was in the office and to be on the lookout for a cold front coming through very soon. So that leads me to believe new area now through the end of next week? Maybe? That'd be.... cool.

And that was all I got. Hopefully someone on the MH forum will post something soon.

The indigenous tournament I'm in right now could be going a lot better. We're in the top 50% and we're not getting any Monster mice. So hopefully we'll get some soon.

Wow. . . I'm glad it's coming out sooner rather than later, but I can't believe it's could be here within a matter of days! Perhaps designing this is what put the stall on the Christmas Event, and what kept Ronza away for so long.

No, that was when they were working like crazy on tournaments. Tournaments were the big holdup on the Christmas event. There was no delay on Ronza.

Oh I'm so excited. I can't wait for new content.

Just to let everyone know, one of my favorite things about the game is figuring out the strategies of new areas, so (Kat already knows this ) if anyone makes it into the new area before me, please don't tell me anything about it. I want to figure it out for myself. I may even stay off of FB and Nweb until I get in. We'll see what the requirements are to get in. Might be able to check walk right in.

We placed in the top 25% in our tourney!

Back in the Warpath. Wave 2: 0-0-0-16-9. I'll definitely clear it tomorrow morning. It should take me a few days to get through Wave 3 based on the last day or two. I'd say four or five days tops. I think I'll clear the run by next Saturday, but we'll see.

Yea, I was able to sound the horn once. I was gone for an event, back long enough to sound the horn and grab some stuff before leaving for another event, and now I'm back with just an hour left and I'm heading to bed. So I headed back to Furoma for the night. Sorry if any of you sound the horn but I really want to get this Furoma assignment done. I am not catching very many Students and hopefully I'll get some over night.

That's because less than 40 people signed up, so the top 10% are also the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.
I noticed that a lot of tournaments are slowing down in the number of people signing up (except for the Warpath) and I'm thinking that everyone is either trying to get ready for the new area, or, like me, they don't want to sign up for a tournament that could potentially interfere with the release of the new area. (I don't want to start a 48 hour tournament and then 2 hours in the new area releases... blegh... LOL)

I spent the night in the Crystal Library last night. I've actually been getting the new mice fairly consistently now, but none of them are dropping War Scraps, which is what I want.
I think I will spend the day in the Warpath, see if I can get another Warmonger before the new area releases.

Overnight, I only got my count down to 13-8, and then on my first horn I missed a Caravan Guard and now have 14-9 (Cavalry and Mages). Still plan to finish Wave 2 early-ish today.

I've also sold a couple of trap skins that I picked up during the events that were bought mainly as gold sources, so they have now served their purposes.

I am livid with the warpath right now . I've been trying to clear these last few sentinel mice for days now! Streaks keep getting broken, and the nasty little beggars keep stealing my bait. I feel like I'm going nowhere

Hey no worries nah, I was having bad luck too last night...

I got the bronze on my hydra

I don't know what's up but I am having a terrible time catching Students in Dojo. I've never had this much trouble before. The last eighteen horn blows and trap checks, I haven't caught anything but Samurais, Diamond mice, Kung Fu mice, and Ninjas. I've been using ZFM and I don't remember ever having this much trouble when I used the HVM and that was a weaker trap.

I'm still working on Wave 2. We had some errands and a surprise mini-Moot (:D) so I haven't been as diligent on MH today as I have of late. 0-0-0-4-5

I've been crafting Cavalry and Mage charms as I get the materials. I've only used one Cavalry charm so far in an attempt to keep a streak (I failed). However, I used a Mage charm just now (paired with my DDA) and got a streak of 3! So my numbers are now 0-0-0-4-2.

I may use a few more charms, but I doubt it.

Edit: made it into Wave 3. This is going to take a while.
