So I switched to Gouda and still have caught 0 out of the 5 mice I'm after... I see lots of people got at least one within the past two days... congrats!

@DiGs, your Mage mice catches are getting us the top 50% in the tournament which makes me happy. I figured we'd be hard pressed to get that.

@wolf, you're on the Huntington right? My husband was there all day yesterday, last night, and this morning and he didn't get a single one of the four new mice. He moved to the Harbour and caught two of them, so I"m thinking they might be a little harder to catch where you are. I know you're going for the Shelder as well, but I thought I'd let you know.

Yeah I was hunting in the Mountain yesterday for a while I think, but didn't have much luck there either... though I wasn't there for very long. As soon as I figured out they were in Huntington I moved there... I might give it until tonight... and if I still don't have anything... I'll ship out

Edit: on the bright side I'm on track to collect some more Bronze crowns while I'm here... I have 9 hydras, 8 squeakens, 4 leviathans, 2 mermice, 3 swabbies, and 2 cooks... (Now I get the swabbies ) So I might stay a little longer since, if nothing else I can get a few more bronzes.

. I got the charms and while I was in that area, I went to the King's Tower to collect potions. I have six pieces of Tier 6 cheese (I was trying to get as high as I could during the Easter event to get the eggs) and am currently farming Tier 3 potions.

So my goals for now are to do some library assignments, get all the way to the top of the Gauntlet, and complete two tower runs: one Mystic and one Technic so I can get the Sandtail Call to Arms and eventually start working on the new area and the Fiery Warpath.

In the comments under that news story, someone said they'd seen that area on the map. I went and looked and there is a new snowy area there. It's right next to the Calm Clearing and Great Gnarled Tree.

I am still working on Wave 1 of my first Warpath Run. I caught a Gargantuamouse this morning during our tourney and was very excited about that. I hope I can finish this run in the next week (I have no idea how long it should take.) Also, that news post makes me wonder if getting an Oasis Bead would be so bad. Then again, I want to get the Sphynx Wrath very, very badly.

I can't say that I'm surprised due to the fact that the top level players have been stuck in the Fiery Warpath for over a year. Yeah, we had the Muridae Market and Crystal Library release to break up the monotony, but it's been a while since we've had new content to mess around with.

@n_a_h, just curious, you know you can smash assignments and get new ones right? You may very well know that and want to hang onto it, but I thought I'd mention it so you don't have to wait for summer to roll back around again before you progress on Library Points.

I have caught one of the new mice and I can't see it. My husband has gotten a War Scraps to drop and he can't see it. Based on where n_a_h said it was on the map, I'm wondering if it's showing up for the people who have NOT unlocked the desert yet.

For the record, I don't see it on the map either. I'm camped out in the lab hoping to get one of these new mice.

Nobody knows yet. Speculate away. If I were to take a guess, I'd say once the new area is open and accessible, you can open the bag of War Scraps and they'll contain items to help you get started. Kind of like the Gift boxes that your friends can send you.

I wanted to drop by really fast and say.... I have now missed two mice (a second Wolfskie and my first Incompetent Ice Climber) because apparently the Oasis + Cheesecake Base just isn't GOOD enough to catch them. Grrr.... I have now switched to the Magma Base.

After much effort and no results I've decided to move into the Harbour... But I shall return!!! (Hopefully with all, but the Shelder )

Still pounding the sandy pavement of the Warpath. Wave 2 now with: 29-40-40-45-20. Leaving myself set for clearing the Warriors overnight.

Once I finish this run I'll likely head to Muridae and start the work there while hunting for the new mice. I hope that the new area doesn't release TOO soon. (I'd like to feel at least a little bit caught up with the higher ups. )
