SpoilerOr in the warpath, Wolf. That's what it sounded like to me.
Indeed:
I just got another Bronze while I was here... none of my 5 targets yet.

I'll see what I can do about these new mice after I finish my current run in Warpath
13-8-9-28-4-3
not a bad score, except I've been in wave 3 for several weeks now
I remember posting the link to a good guide on FW a few weeks ago, which I think is where Digs got the drop graph? I think so, but I'll post the link again, it's quite useful as an intro, quite detailed too

Quite useful in my opinion
I'm having the best warpath run ever! (My luck will probably change now that I said that!) I cleared wave 1 in 24 hours, and I've been tearing up wave 2 right now. About to use a commander's charm that will absolutely obliterate the wave (streak of seven). After that, I'm going after mages and Cavalry mice because they're worth the most tournie points.

*blinks* See this is why you don't have a Gargantuamouse yet, you're not trying for it.
Oh, and nice pun wolf.
ETA: Anyone besides me notice that the gifts of the day are changing sometime overnight? It's kind of annoying because in the case of potions, I send out gifts to the people who send them to me. By the time I get up in the morning I can't return the favor.....
Fantasia, I noticed that the other day. It switched from Gnarled to RB overnight and I was unable to send RB because I'd already sent Gnarled. I consider RB more valuable because those are what most people use more often. I was peeved. Then again today it switched from Gnarled to ... Slap Cat, I think?

@stwin: I think it depends on exactly what time of day you send gifts, but it changes for different people at different times... I've noticed it switch like that, but I've also noticed at times it would let me send 2 gifts a day.... and then there's the times when FK and Ithy get to send different gifts than I do... but then I get to send the same gift the next day...
It's rather odd.

Yeah, it's not supposed to do that. The gift timer resets at 7pm CDT (I think) and only one gift is supposed to show up for that 24 hours. Now sometimes things do get reset on purpose if a patch/event is added to the game, and yeah, that's supposed to happen, but right now it's not.
Thanks for letting me know guys that it's not just me.

Well here's my logic:
1. Having just entered Wave 2 last night, there are still 5 species of mice (plus Crimson Commanders and Caravan Guards) around. With a garga entering, that gives a total of 8 breeds.
2. Therefore, the chances of attracting a garga over another breed are approximately 1/8. I know that the higher streaks increase the probability of nabbing one, but in my experience a streak of 7 merely releases them, and streaks of 8 or more actually increase their number
3. By my logic, the best time to catch a garga is when you have very few species of mice remaining (preferably only one), and after the support mice are retreating.
Now, my logic could be completely and totally off. . . I don't know about that.
Ironically. . . my Commander's Charm attracted a garga . So ignore all of that fancy logic up above, and merely tell me "Eh, it's a crap-shoot"

*Chuckles at Wolf's pun...
My next goal is to save up enough gold for one of the two portal traps so I can start hunting in the Mousoleum. I'm almost there.

Of the two, I went with the Sinister Portal. . . but that was mainly because of the stale cheese rating. In the days when I was in the Mousoleum, you couldn't get a gift of the day (of radioactive sludge) and so you needed to stale a certain amount of cheese so that you could craft the mutated venus flytrap.
I still like the Sinister Portal. . . but with the elimination of needing to intentionally stale radioactive blue cheese. . . the playing field has been leveled.

Well, what I mean is, when I had everything completed in the Warpath except for the Gargantuamouse (cause I think I caught him on my third run?) all I concentrated on was catching him. So if I had a streak of 7, no matter the wave, I'd be setting for the Garga, not a Commander. And then if I caught a Commander anyways, great!
Or maybe I should word it this way.... catching a Garga > an efficient run.
Does that make sense?

I guess it does. Thus far, my entire strategy for the warpath has been to complete waves as quickly as possible so as to get the baron traps. Now that I have them, I guess I need to change my way of thinking
