I was really hoping for some one person tournies in this patch. . . Oh well. Maybe next time.

There's a warpath tournament tomorrow. It lasts more than 24 hours, and I'm up for it if there's room on your team, FK, Kat and crew ;).

I saw that tourny but sadly it's not going to work this time around.
2 people will be out of town
4 people are in the Forgotten Grove tourny
1 person is taking a break from tournaments until the Easter event is over
:P

The first one that pops up starting Monday, I will be sure to snag you for it DiGs. :) In the meantime, I'm back in the Warpath starting on Wave 1.

It will go on Mousehunt's Facebook page. :)

I wouldn't call a pirate bad luck. Or a Mole Mouse for that matter. A lot of the mice on the list aren't in the Town of Gnawnia or the Meadow so I'd say you're doing pretty good. What might help is not using white cheddar or cheddar. If you can afford it using Marble or Swiss will raise your attraction rates. Brie would be the best, but it's also the most expensive. Using those cheeses mean you'll attract more mice and better ones.

In fact if anything I'd say you guys are making up for me since I've been away most of the day... I think the highest amount of points I got from a mouse was 8... maybe 10, but the highest I remember is 8. Whereas you've both had 50 pt mice... Well done.

A few things, too, that you may want to know about tourneys:

1) Trap checks don't count for points... the devs had wanted them too, but were unable to program it into the game and make it work. In other words you or another team member has to click a horn for it to work.

2) Different tournaments require different mice... If you click on the tournament you are either participating in or want to participate in you'll see a link that says "Mice" or "Mice List" -> click that and it'll tell you which mice to go after and how much they are worth... this will be especially important as you unlock more areas of the game since different mice live in different areas. This tool can help you decide where to hunt and what trap set up to use.

3) You must claim all of your prizes before you leave a team or else you will lose them. I really suggest claiming them as soon as it's over or as soon as you're online after it's finished. This way you don't have to go searching. This can be done either via the Inbox or that Tournament's Page.

And if anyone has any questions be sure to ask.

All the info (and the morale boost) is much appreciated Wolf! :)

I actually have about 40 brie stored up, but all I was catching with it were white, brown and other assorted 1 pointers. So I had the bright idea of trying the White Cheddar. That didn't go so well (with the exeption of the mole ;) ). I've switched back to brie now.

I think a lot of the mice in Gnawnia are gonna be low pointers... unless they're SB+ mice, but I'd suggest saving up your SB+ for a while- your choice though... It's not so hard to save up now that you can get 3 pieces every 5 days. :P

PS How on earth did you get a magic mouse?! Or did you use SB+ then? If not do tell me...

Sorry. I used a couple of pieces of SB+ because I was getting a bit desperate. I'm saving the rest. :D

I'm be signing off now, but I'll be back at it again tomorrow. Early.

I don't know if you saw my post here or not a few days ago, but the best way to claim rewards (I think) is to go to the Team Page and click on the History tab. It lists out all of the tournaments you've competed in and if you've missed claiming a reward it will have a "Claim" link to the side of it. I found a handful of tournaments that I had missed claiming so I love that new feature. :D

Ahh... I somehow missed it... (I was to excited after reading your FB post about the new slots I think and that was the only thing on my brain...)

Well edit my above post accordingly.

I made up for my horrible wave through wave 1, by catching up in wave 2. Cleared my sentinels in about 24 hours, and almost done with my archers (will be done with them by tonight)

My team got three tournament tokens in an Indigenous Mouse tourney today. That put me over the 25 token mark and I got my bronze tournament base!

Now, I'm back in the Tribal Isles farming Havarti ingredients.

Question: will there be any new traps and bases during the Easter event? Does anyone know for sure or were there last year? I have more than enough gold to build the Heat Bath but I'm thinking about waiting until after Easter just in case I need gold during the event. I'm at 1.95 mil right now

There was not a special trap or base last year, just the eggs.

Bringing the thread back towards the top--

I am hanging out in the catacombs farming scrap metal. I am working toward the Molten Lava (Rock?) Base.
And, I'm close to 20 million points as well!

I think you mean the molten shrapnel base. How close are you to meeting your Scrap Metal goal, Mumsie?

I've joined FK's team, and we're doing a fiery warpath tournament. Currently we're not placing, but we're moving up slowly but surely. I'm almost done clearing out my mages, and then I'll have nothing but cavalry mice left, which are easier.

I think we'll see our rank shoot up a fair bit tonight when all of the people in the Asia region are sleeping. That's usually what happens for me on these several day tournaments.
Plus I'm stuck on one-pointer mice and not getting enough streaks to snag a Garga. Once I'm out of Wave 2, I should be far more helpful. :) Currently sitting at ...
