EDIT: Mother Rose asked me to post this on her behalf. She's been in the Mousoleum for more than 24 hours, and has caught a total of 4 mice. She's getting robbed blind (by mutated grey mice, and other wimps!) Has anybody else been experiencing these problems?

Actually, for the last three days no matter where I have hunted, I have only caught four rats. And yes, I am getting robbed blind of my gold and points. What is going on? Can anyone help?

If I may, I took a look at your journal Mother Rose via DiGs's journal, and I count 6 mice caught in the Mousoleum since 5:56pm CDT yesterday afternoon (which is as far back as I could see). Is it possible that when you looked back through your journal you missed checking some pages?
At any rate, as the best base you have is the Dehydration Base and the best trap you have is the Sinister Portal, I'm not surprised at all that you're suddenly having a streak of really bad luck and getting robbed by those pesky mice.
It happened to all of us when we went to the Mousoleum the first time, and if this is the first time you're having trouble, you're doing better than the rest of us did. The only advice I can offer is to just tough it out and give those mice 'what for!'

Once I'm done with that, I'm open for tournies until the event starts. (Otherwise, I'll be farming gold again)

There has been a serious lack of doable Warpath tournies. What's your schedule next week DiGs? I'm gonna be unavailable most of Saturday and Sunday sadly so even if one does pop up over the weekend I won't be able to do it.

Next week is pretty much wide open for me. I'm going to apply for a job on Monday, but other than that I'm pretty much open (Being a college graduate is wonderful ). Just let me know the day, and I'll be there!

It's the art FBF today. I'm watching it but Jacob never really gives news on the art FBFs. For those who are interested, today he's going to be drawing the banner for the MH Facebook Timeline page. (You know, the only cool part about the new timeline pages.)

The following comments I must point out are MY OWN SPECULATION!!! Not official news.

I don't know how many people remember the Icewing Mouse, but she was the first mouse Jacob drew in an art FBF. The problem at the time was that there was no place in the game for her to go so she was never introduced.
Well the fans on the MH forum came up with the idea of a new area in the game called the Glacial Retreat, where the Icewing Mouse would reside. This concept area picked up a LOT of momentum and popularity enough to the point where I've heard it mentioned several times in FBFs.
Not too long ago in a FBF, Dan and Giorgio mentioned that the new area would be "heavily influenced" by fan ideas. Then when I was browsing through the thread on the MH forums about the new tournaments, I saw where Dan mentioned the new area would be "cool" and then in FBF today Jacob mentioned that there have been a few Icewing sightings.
So I think the new area in the game is going to be a spinoff of the fan suggested Glacial Retreat and finally include the Icewing.

Hmm. . . that leads me to believe (speculating of course) that we might get some new draconic mice in there. The Ice Maiden is currently the least used trap in the game (really only four mice can even be caught by it). If the new area was going to be draconic (and possibly feature a draconic upgrade at the end) that would be amazing!

The other possibility would be to introduce a new type of trap (ice/snow/blizzard/whatever), which I don't see them doing. If they were going to do that, methinks that they would have done it with the introduction of the seasonal garden (replacing ice for hydro in winter).

At any rate, I'm very excited for the new area, and would love for it to come sometime in April!

This top ten % thing is new... I kinda like it though... It awards teams more fairly this way.

Astro, Ithy, and I are competing in the 24 hr 3-player Indigenous Tourney... Right now we're below the 50% mark, but I'm hoping we can gain back some ground.

An online guide said that, while at Grandmaster level, one can only craft Rumble Cheese by using a whole Master's Seal (which makes only one piece of cheese). It also said that, in order to craft it using the Three Shards (which makes 3 pieces), one must wait until Legendary level, otherwise it won't make the cheese and your shards will disappear... Is this true?

@Ithil, You are reading an ancient guide that hasn't been updated for a few years. (Ditch that guide! LOL) No, it's no longer true. They took the failed crafting feature out probably two years ago. Both recipes will get you the same 3 pieces of Rumble Cheese.
If you like to follow guides, I highly recommend furoma.com's guide. It's really good.

I'm not sure if your stuff is guaranteed to disappear, Ithi, but if you craft Rumble with the seal you will still get 3 pieces of Rumble, so it doesn't matter whether you craft with seal or shards.

FK, I think that would be a pretty fun new area. DiGs, maybe they will have a new Hydro trap there (though I don't think we really need one just yet.)

I'm now the owner of a golden tournament base! This last tourney put me over the top by 1 token. Yay! Taking my new base out for a spin in the cats just for fun while we try and decide on our next tourney.
