I sounded the Hunter's Horn and was successful in the hunt! I caught a 5 oz. Glitchpaw Mouse worth 1,200 points and 1,200 gold.

The mouse also dropped the following loot:
2 SUPER|brie+

Don't know about the rest of you, but am so glad the hunt is back on!! I was having major withdrawl from not getting to hunt. I will NEVER forgive my son, Digs, for getting me addicted to this game. LOL Have yet to catch a glitchpaw, but Digs says they will leave nice loot. Well, all of your post still are like a foreign language to me, but having the time of my life. The mouseoleum is my favorite place to hunt. Really racking up some gold in there. My next step is to get a venus trap, since I am now a grandmaster? Lots of new places to hunt. Now as long as MH doesn't crash again... and as long as my computer doesn't crash, my internet doesn't fail, I don't have a huge mouseless streak, or something else totally unforeseeable doesn't happen... I should have that trap by the end of tomorrow...

After that I shall probably stick around in the B'day Party Celebration since I still need a King's Crown for the Glitchpaws and they're dropping some awesome loot there

Well, I'm actually making a third Birthday cake which I didn't expect to do! I'm trying to catch Glitchpaws because I only need two more to get a Bronze crown for them. And I like the SB+ that they're dropping here at the party (do they do that elsewhere?) And I had enough Party Charms coupled with what people gave me throughout the day to get the ingredients for an entire cake without stopping to farm more charms! I have one candle left to go and two Party Charms still which should be plenty if my normal luck continues. And I have 16 Nanny charms so that won't be a problem.

I'm up to 433k gold. Still a long ways to go before I can get the Heat Bath.

I'm loving the fact that I'm getting so much super brie! I've gotten 9 pieces off of glitchpaws so far, and with the birthday event going on for a few more days, who knows how many pieces I'll end up with!

got kicked back into ZT before catching my CM and King, and guess what, I ended up almost not completing my run:(
I never got my CM& charged scholar charm because I ended up using all my Checkmate Cheese before catching anything...omp...I was pretty depressed about it so back in FW...i really hate that place but heck, it's the best place to just grind

Wil, because you were in the one place with the one cheese that really messes up your game, and it got rebooted while you were sleeping, I suspect that you could send a message to the devs and they'd refund your Checkmate Cheese. They're usually really good about doing things like that, and in this case you had no control over all your Checkmate going to waste.

Yep, if you want SB+, you have to catch Glitchpaws at the birthday event. Otherwise they will drop items useful to the region you catch them in.

Catching the Glitchpaw broke your streak? I didn't think that was supposed to happen either. You're just having all sorts of rotten luck.

Not much to report on my end. I'm just collecting SB+ at the Birthday event. *happiness* We haven't done any tournaments since the server went down cause there haven't really been any good ones to do. Here's hoping we can get some in over the weekend.

I have 472 Ghost mice though. I want to stay here until I get 500 and get my first gold crown.

I meant to comment on this and forgot. I don't even have my gold crown on Ghost Mice yet. I'm at 493 I believe, so I'm close! But I just found it funny cause you can certainly tell that I hardly ever use anything but Ancient Cheese in the Catacombs.

I (finally) got the birthday trap.

I need 3 more Glitchpaws for a Bronze Crown... after that I'm going back to the catacombs to replenish my gold, get more Scrap Metal, and continue catching up with nah on my scoreboard who surpassed me a few weeks ago ( ). Then I'll go into the Seasonal Garden or the SS Huntington II.

You'll probably pass me soon, wolf. I'm leaving for spring break Saturday morning and I won't have internet until Sunday evening or Monday that next week. One week with no internet, no MH, no phone, no nothing. It's going to be awesome!

I'm wondering where the best spot for Glitchpaws is. I haven't caught any since yesterday afternoon. I wonder if I would catch more if I didn't have Party Charms armed. Hmm.

After this, I think I'll go and farm a few Tier 2 potions in the Gauntlet since I'm close. Then, it's back to the Catacombs until I get some more gold. I'm at 459k right now so I still need 900k for the Heat Bath.

@nah that depends on how much internet access I'll have during Spring Break... I know Mon I'll be getting my wisdom teeth out, so I won't be on much that day...

The rollback didn't hurt me at all. The only thing I lost was the Day 4 Daily Rewards. Everything else was still there.

I finished my third birthday cake and caught enough Glitchpaws to satisfy my SB+ hunger ( ) so I am back in the Library working on research. I just had one of my target mice slip though my trap, which is disappointing since it's my highest power/luck combo (Crobot/MSB). i even threw in a Freshness charm to combat the Uber Stale cheese effect. (Although after looking at the setup again, the charm doesn't affect the cheese effect at all, so I've disarmed those.)

Any suggestions on charms?

Freshness charms are all very well and good, but I don't like them that much. They'll be less likely to cause cheese to go stale, but they do nothing for attraction. I'd use attraction charms instead. Freshness charms would be ideal for rare/expensive cheeses (like Gauntlet Tier 8 Cheese).
