I purchased 1 Golden Tournament Base.
*happy dance!!!!!!*
I'm not sure that we'll be able to pull this tourney off. We're at 106 right now (104 is the cutoff for the top 50%) with six hours left. It's 10 PM, my time, and I can't stay up too much longer because I have class tomorrow.
Wave 2 havent been really nice to me lately...missing a lot of things using SBB
CHange of luck against cavalry since i have SW and stuff but its only for cavalry...
Just woke up and checked our position. We've slipped to 111th place, and would need to score 200 points in one hour in order to make it into the top fifty.
I don't think we're going to make it
At this point, I'm heading over back over to the Warpath as nobody else is likely to wake up to participate any time soon, and I'm not able to get those 200 points on my own. (T'would require my catching 2 balack's in one hour. . . . . . . . . )
If I had had the Reaper's Perch, I know that this would have went better. Everybody says that that should be at the bottom of my "to do" list, but I'm only 1.4 million away from it (I know. . . that's a lot. . . but still. . . ). Probably won't go after it any time soon, bust just wanted to make an observation.

As far as the Reaper's Perch is concerned, the only time I've used that trap in recent memory was during a Jungle of Dread tournament. It's just not something I see you using at all right now. ... This trap probably should be at the bottom of the priority list.
At the time that I wrote that you weren't doing tournaments, or even showing any kind of interest in doing them. But if you and your team continue to do them, then yes, that shoots the priority on the Reaper's Perch way up. For me personally, if I were to get that second Sandblasted Metal or the Sphynx Crystal, I'd go with those two first, but if you keep doing Warpath runs without getting trap part drops and you have enough gold to build the Reaper's Perch, might as well do it.
Here's a question then: Are there any Jungle of Dread tournaments? Because as far as I can see, the only tournies that have anything to do with the JoD is the one that my team just finished (we came in 113th ). I really hope that they add some more tournies soon (including some more one person ones), because all of these have been a bit repetitive.
I'll keep your advice about the Reaper's Perch in mind.
Doing badly in the warpath this morning. 2 mice out of 6 trap checks

Have I mentioned recently how much I dislike the Warpath

I think when I wrote that, I was doing the same tournament that you guys were doing and I was camped out in the Jungle. There's another tournament where you'll want Reaper's Perch, and that's the Mousoleum tourny. So either of those tournaments, the Perch is good to have.
Sorry, team, I really wish we could have done better.
In other news, I'm down to 4 SB+. I used up all of my SB+ the other day to expand my Vengeful Vanilla Stilton batches. I really want to do that again so it's time to do another survey.
I'm really liking the Tribal Isles and especially Dracano and Balack's Cove because I level up a lot faster than any other place so far. I'm at 82% Knight already.
I'm saving up my gold now. As soon as I hit Lady, I'm crafting the Soul Harvester. I'm at 1.3 mil right now and I'll need 1.64 mil for the rest of the supplies for it (Metamorphic Rock and Platinum Bars)
We missed it. I signed myself up for the Nerg Tourney tomorrow... I just hope I did my math right with the times... probably didn't....

It starts at 11:00 AM EST, wolf, which is great for me! *clicks accept button*
However, I must say. . . of all the tournies of the isles, Nerg is going to be my least favourite. My best trap is Rewers, and it's barely strong enough to nab the Three Boss Mice. All the same, I have some gumbo cheese already stockpiled, so we'll see how it goes.

Great. I have a class at 12:45. I'm not sure when I get out cuz I have a test (I'm counting on it being early as it's normally a 12:45-3 class.)

So, as my first full Summer run in the Garden comes to a close, I have a question for those who have made it through: how difficult was it to catch the Summer Mage, and how many runs did it take you? I'm just concerned because I've missed it twice (once with Rewer's and once with ZFM) and I'm concerned about ever catching it.
I know I need to use SB+ to catch the Fall Familiar, and I've been experimenting with SB+ and Gouda to get the Summer Mage.

The Summer Mage is hard for sure, but not impossible (though poor Lady Arwen is up to 7 misses which is well past average ). He's about a 1/3 catch. Out of your traps/bases, the best setup that you can have to catch him is Rewers/Dragon Jade Base (a charm will help even more). I haven't noticed an increase in attraction with SuperBrie, but it's definitely not required.
I haven't seen anybody need more than two cycles to catch any of the 4 seasonal "boss" mice.
I've moved to the catacombs after gold... I'm running way low so I figured I'd save up and work towards some crowns.

Stwin, what FK said
I'm spending the night in the warpath. Hopefully I'll clear out Wave 2 before the tournie begins tomorrow.
