What is this Top 50? I'm still pretty new to the game; and like Mother Rose, I have a hard time understanding what you guys are discussing on this thread.

Tournaments Ithilwen If you hover over Teams and then click on Tournaments from the drop down menu, you'll see this massive list of them. What you do is sign up and compete against other hunters to try to win tokens. Awards are given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as the top 25% of teams and the top 50% of teams. The tokens can then be spent in the Tournament Hall (I don't know if you'll have that area on your map yet.)

Well amazingly, somehow, my team is doing pretty good at this Warpath tourny. I kind of doubt we'll make top 25% as we're all gonna go to bed pretty soon, but I have high hopes for top 50%. We'll see.

I'm wondering if I would be better off going back to the Tribal Isles and getting the Heat Bath trap before trying again for the Shelder mouse. Still no sign of it and I'm getting bored here. *decides to do that*

You know that the dragon is the one that drops the Heat Bath blueprints, right? It's inside the dragon chest. That's part of the reason why I gave up on that trap. It's only a 1/6 drop rate I think? I wasn't thrilled with those odds, and I didn't feel like sticking around the Tribal Isles any longer.

But, I cannot see you doing incredibly well in the Seasonal Garden without it. Winter is the second toughest season (autumn is just miserable), and it was difficult enough with my Double Diamond Adventure.

At any rate, good luck in whatever you decide to do.

I was so worried there for a moment that we weren't going to place, but we did! Huzzah!!!!! I've got a whopping 5 Tournament Tokens . If I'm here, I would love to take place in a tournament again. There was an indigenous mouse tournament tonight which I participated in. I didn't win, of course, since I was the only one on the team playing. But I got 32 points and placed at 143 out of 202 teams. So I suppose I did better than some of the other players, at least.

For one person participating in a four person tournament. . . I'm rather impressed that you did that well! If we were to do another one tomorrow, I see no reason why Wolf, You and Myself couldn't finish in the top 50%.

Yup, I know. Right now, I'm in JoD farming Fire Salt with what Havarti I have left. I've crafted one batch so far and I'd like to get enough Fire Salt for at least one more batch if not two before heading to Dracano.

Tournaments seem to be on a 40 hour rotation (approx) so they show up every couple days at different times (morning, evening, night). I don't see the Indigenous Mouse tournament on the list right now, but when it does, I have a tip for you guys.... Laboratory, Radioactive Blue Cheese. Except for Ithilwen who will just have to hunt where she can.
And Ithilwen, congrats on doing so well on your first tournament. For one person in a four person tournament, and ESPECIALLY as you're low-level, that's pretty good.

Ooo... an Art contest sounds fun! I crafted my Lantern... I'm just trying to get one more Dragon Ember, then I'll head into Balack's Cove

So I was looking at the map of the whole realm of Gnawnia with my Mom (Mother Rose) and she pointed something out to me that I had never noticed before. Has anybody else ever noticed that the Tribal Isles are shaped like a giant rat

wolf, I'm pretty sure you have it, but I'm gonna ask anyways, do you have the timer for Balack's Cove? There's one in the head's up display once you get in there, but it's so annoying to travel in there and learn you're going to be washed out in an hour.
And also, the wiki and other places say that the ABT is better at catching the liches, but my own personal experience says that the ACRONYM does better. Don't be afraid to play around with your setup to figure out which one you prefer. Good luck! I think Balack is currently the hardest non-rare mouse in the game to catch.
