Hey, Mountie! I'm glad you're back.
586.Do you like VeggieTales? They’re pretty good. I like the older episodes based on Bible Stories better than the new ones based on books or popular movies.
587. What's the weirdest movie you've ever watched? I can’t think of any weird movies in complete that I’ve watched, but I’ll tell you about a movie trailer that was really, really weird that I watched recently:
There was a tire in a desert. And one day, he just began rolling! By himself! He was alive! This tire, Randy, was aware that he was now animate and had a little brain in his tire head, somehow. And he discovered that he could blow things up just by using his mind, so he did! First he blew up a police car, so the police were after him. And then he blew up people. Not exactly sure why. But he fell in love with this girl at a motel and rented a room for himself. The police knew he liked the girl, so they planned to use her to draw him out and POP him!
This was the plotline. And it’s with real people and a Belle Tire.
588. What are you planning to do on Monday? Well, I had Monday today. So I went to school very early in the slush and the snow and practiced piano for a while, then went to biology lab, then biology lecture, and then French class. It was very long. I don’t like Mondays much.
589. Do you like staplers? No, not at all! One bit me when I was little, and I’ve never forgiven them.
590. Do you have a desk lamp? It’s kind of built into the desk. I think it counts.
591. Do you have a cell phone? Yep, and her name is Arabella!
592. Do you like to eat chicken? Yes. I like it grilled, especially.
593. Have you ever seen National Treasure? Yes! Good movie. My favourite character is Riley and I love how they puzzle out the clues.
594. Who's the first person you met on the site? Probably the mod that sent me the message telling me not to say, “For (name of the Lord)’s sakes!” I learned pretty quickly not to do that. They were so smart. I was just trying to impress people when I wrote that. They put me in my proper place.
595. Are you sad that MOTW is over? I’m sad that I can’t interact with you anymore, but I understand now why it’s only a week long. I’m burned out. Not sure if that’s because of the questions, or because Monday is crazy-busy for me.
596. Where is our best place to find you now that MOTW is over? Ditto Town or the Spare Oom! Just look around or stalk my profile page to find where I’ve last posted! I usually return to my posts to see if anyone has replied to them.
597. Can we still ask you random questions now that MOTW is over? Why sure! Just drop a PM anytime!
598. Who's the next MOTW? I don’t think there is one, but don’t quote me on that. I’m the newest mod; I don’t think there’s a MOTW after me!
599. What's your favorite thing about God? That he loves me even when I’m broken; especially then. Even now, I sometimes feel like I’m too messed up to go back to Him. Then I remember that the times I’m messed up are the times He wants me the most, so I go, and it’s so good.
600!!! What's your favorite thing you've ever written? Let’s see…I think I really liked a story about a Princess and her grandfather, the Great King, that I wrote a long time ago. If you like, I’ll PM it to you. It’s a short story. The reason I liked it was that it really rang true for me. It came out of pain, and I think it’s beautiful.
601. What's your favorite thing about the state in which you live? That we have so many ----- and so much good -----!
You just posted a hundred questions! A hundred-and-one questions, Miss R! *is floored* Whoa. That’s a record.
602. Do you like black and white movies? Why or why not? Yes, because in general, they’re better done than the colour movies nowadays. They didn’t have the crazy special effects, so they were forced to focus on story and character, the core principles of film. I don’t like many of the old musical movies, though, such as Holiday Inn. In those, it was like the only important part was the song and dance. I thought that was lame.
603. What's the funniest movie you've ever seen? White Christmas.
604. Do you prefer to read fiction or nonfiction? Explain. Fiction. I love how the lessons learned and adventures lived in strange worlds and universes can carry over to our own world. It’s that principle of universality that I love, and the ability to relate with the characters.
605. If you could be a character in any novel you’ve ever read, who would you be? Zita the Spacegirl!
606. Name one book you had to read but hated, and explain why you hated it. I believe it was called Fairy Wings, and I don’t remember the author’s name. I really didn’t like it because the main character was extremely annoying. She was obnoxious, full of herself, and so needy of her boyfriend. She had almost no depth. She cared nothing for what would be good for others, especially not if it took something or someone away from her. She spent most of her time (she was the narrator) obsessing over how hot her boyfriend was and his cute abs and how she guessed everyone was jealous of her, and how she’d spend the rest of her life with him, and no, they can’t take him away because she needs him! Who cares if it’s better for him to be taken away? All that, plus unnecessary language, made the book awful.
607. If someone wrote a book about your life, what would they title it? Rigid
608. What was your favorite book as a child? The Mitten. I don’t recall the author. It’s told all with pictures, and it’s quite wonderful; all about a bunch of animals trying to live in a lost mitten!
609. If you could pick a book you’ve read to make into a movie, which one would you choose? Black as Night by Regina Doman.
610. Are you a spender or saver? Saver, but I splurge every so often.
611. Do you like musicals, or do they annoy you? I like them. They’re usually quite nice!
612. Do you prefer card games or board games? Board games. They’re more interesting and have pictures!
613. Are you good at chess? No, I’m awful! It comes of not practicing, I suppose.
614. Would you rather be good looking or rich? If I choose rich, will I be stricken ugly? I choose rich. Then I can execute my amazing schemes.
615. Would you like to know the day you’re going to die ahead of time? Why or why not? No. Then the day wouldn’t be an adventure. It would give me a cop-out; I’d live perfectly around the time I died, and not feel obligated to be ready at any moment God calls me.
616. Would you rather have the ability to be invisible or be able to fly? Fly. It’d be wonderful, especially if my ears didn’t pop due to pressure changes.
617 If you could have any job in the world, what would it be? In studio writer for Twentieth Century Fox. *sigh.*
618. Has any book or movie had a major impact on you? I don’t think so. Some have made me think, but major? I think the most major impact I’ve gotten has been from people I’ve known personally.
619. What is the weirdest thing about you? I’m nearly blind in my left eye and I didn’t know it because my right eye was busy compensating for it!
620. Have you ever been in a “life or death” situation? Yes. A motorcycle was going to drive right through our windshield, and I honestly thought I was going to die. I remember being very calm and asking God to keep my soul safe with Him. At the last second he managed to drive around us.
Another time, I was in a swimming pool and I bobbed out of the shallow end by accident. I couldn’t swim. I went under, and as I was on a slant that led down from the shallow end to the deep end, I couldn’t hop back him the hill. I was drowning. My aunt dove into the pool with her clothes on to rescue me. I was very calm then, too. It’s weird to know how you behave in a situation like that. I’d like to think that today, I would still be calm.
621. What one thing are you most proud of? Having written a novel.
622. Do you enjoy writing letters? Yes, but I’m not in the habit, so I need to work on it!
623. What is your ultimate dream vacation? Going to live in Wales for four months, Ireland for four months, and England for four months, and just living and writing there. I want to do it so badly.
624. What is the most daring or dangerous thing you have done? Tried to hop over a barbed wire fence. Great thinking, Tina! Very smart.
625. What person in history would you like to meet most? C.S. Lewis, but then I’d like to meet Abraham Lincoln and Robert E. Lee.
626. What are your major goals in life? Learn to be flexible, to listen when people are talking to me, and to be a good example.
627. Did you ever have an imaginary friend as a child? I had several! Lack, Jack, Mack, Nack, and Back-pack! (I was a very creative child with the names.)
628. If you could be invisible, where would you go and what would you do? I would go backstage at a concert and watch how things went, or go onto a film set and observe.
629. Do you like old music? How old? I like some Bing Crosby and also Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
630. Have you ever listened to Peter, Paul, and Mary? I know a Peter, a Paul, and a Mary, but I’ve never listened to all three at the same time!
631. If you could have lunch with any four people from history, who would you choose and why? C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, Jane Austen, and Oliver Wendell Holmes. It would just make for a very interesting discussion, and they all have such interesting thoughts and senses of humor!
632. Baths or showers? Baths, if they’re big enough, and showers, if they’re not!
633. Curly hair or straight hair? Curly, but I’m biased, because my hair is naturally straight. I think that people are naturally disposed to want the one thing they do not have.
637. What is one single food that you would never give up? Fruit, especially fresh apples, oranges, and strawberries.
638. What is your favorite day of the year? Christmas Eve.
639. Have you ever been on a roller coaster? Yes, and they scare me!
640. Do you like peanut butter? Yes! I eat it with a spoon from the jar, and—prepare to be shocked, world—IT’S NOT THE SUGAR FILLED KIND! IT’S JUST SMASHED PEANUTS!
641. Did you name your stuffed animals as a kid? Which was your favorite? Yes. I have a blue and star covered bear that I call Star Spangled Bear, a white bear named Flopsy, and a small ginger-furred bear named Winifred, or Winny for short. My favourite wasn’t any of these, though. It was a ram that my brother brought back from the Holy Land that I just called “The Ram that Daniel gave me”. It was special. It still is.
642. Three favorite guy names? Merlin, Finn, and Patrick.
644. Three favorite girl names? Violet, Rose, and Jane
645. If you could change genders for a day, what would you do? I would try to figure out how a guy thought. The idea of doing that disturbs me, though. What do you do when you have to use the toilet?
646. Do you play a musical instrument? Yes, the piano, and my throat, of course. Jammin’ on them vocal chords!
647. Favorite type of cheese? Extra Sharp Cheddar. It tastes so different from mild. I dislike mild quite a lot.
648. Soup or salad? Salad, especially if it has croutons, cheese, and tomatoes in it and ranch dressing on it! Yum.
649. Are you a morning person or a night person? Night, very much so.
650. If you could go back in time and change one event in history, what would you change and why? Lincoln’s assassination. The healing period after the war would have been much different, I think, if he had lived. The North took revenge on the South for seceding, and that made a great big mess. It was so sad.
651. Which is a stronger emotion: anger or love? Love. God is Love. He’s not anger. Case in point.
652. Is it easy for you to look people in the eyes when they talk to you? Yes. I think it’s because I’m aware of where I’m looking when I speak to them, as various teachers of mine have mentioned it, and I want them to look me in the eyes, too.
653. Is it more difficult for you to look into someone’s eyes when you are telling them how you feel, or looking into someone’s eyes when they are telling you how they feel? When I’m telling them how I feel, my eyes flick everywhere. I feel awkward, I feel passionate, I feel tearsy. When they’re telling me how I feel, I look at them because I want them to know that I’m listening and that I care about what they have to say, especially as they got up the guts to say it.
654. What song always makes you happy when you hear it? “Awakening” by Switchfoot. I just always grin when I hear it.
655. What is your favorite brand of breakfast cereal? Frosted Mini-Wheats! They’re so good!
656. Do you prefer oatmeal or dry cereal? Dry cereal + milk. I don’t like it dry completely, so much. Is that what you meant? I’d say I’d pick oatmeal if the cereal had to be completely dry.
657. Do you like nicknames? Yes, I do, when they’re a token of affection!
658. If you could take a monthlong trip anywhere in the world and money was not a consideration, where would you go? Wales. *sigh.*

665. Do you [prefer?] the city or the country? The country! The city is too busy and it’s hard to find parking. The country is peaceful, and you know what? You can see the stars.
666. What makes you unique? I’m a girl who believes she’s unique, that’s what. As to why I believe it? I’ve got drive and ambition, and I’m going to try my hardest to reach my dreams. I refuse to accept the norm and desire to go beyond it and change the world.
667. Do you prefer to type or write by hand? Type, for easy editing, but writing my hand is fun too, especially for spur-of-the-moment ideas.
668. Are you very sarcastic? Not very, but some cynicism has rubbed off on me from a friend. I try to fight it off.
669. Do you daydream a lot? Yes; too much! I do it in Mass and zone out of the most important parts. I’ve been trying to focus lots lately.
670. What are the three things in nature that you find most beautiful? The sky, the trees, and running water.
671. Do you like spicy foods? In moderation.
672. Who is someone in history that you really admire? St. Thomas More. He stood up for his belief when the whole of England was standing against him, including his best friend and his family, and it would have been so easy to comply. Look him up!

677. Grapefruit? Very much, especially just picked off the tree. Mmm!
678. Have you ever milked a cow? I did two pulls at the teat for milking. It was at the State Fair and it was quite awkward because I had to sit on a strange young man’s lap to do it. I was blushing furiously the whole while, I’m sure, but I managed to do it. It’s not squeezing, I learned. It’s pulling down.
679. Have you ever been locked out of the house accidentally? Heh, heh. Yes.
680. Have you ever had to crawl through a window to get back into it? No, I climbed up onto out porch and got out the spare key and then got in. Phew!

728. Is wearing make-up vanity or a sin in any way? Depends on why you’re wearing it. Do you feel worthless without it? I’d say that was a lie. Do you wear it to make boys think you’re hot? Well, that’s probably not such a good idea. But in and of itself, it’s not a sin or a vanity, in my opinion.
