2. What is the subject you hate most in college and why?
3. What companion of the Doctor's do you think would be friends with you if he/she existed?

1. When and why did your fascination with Emma Stone start?
2. What is your favourite NWeb smilie (including Chat smilies), and why?
3. Do you ever miss/visit the old site?
4. You respond with "I don't know" to a lot of these questions. Does this seem unfair and if not, how wouldst thou defend thy stance?
5. If you had to make a blog based on something besides music, what would it feature (and what would you call it)?
1. Somewhere inbetween my fleeting fascination with Taylor Swift and Karen Gillan. Hey, what can I say? I've got a thing for a funny, confident young women with blonde/red/brunette hair.
2. Probably the chat version of this guy: and the forum version of these two: .
Tongue-sticky-outy is the great multitasking emoticon for chat and "coolness"/devil laugh just look great.
3. Sometimes, mostly for the old Town Square and my introduction to Unilluminated. I've visited the old site a few times, but the places I wanted to go back to soon become part of the Nothing, so I haven't been back.
4. Doesn't seem unfair to me seeing as I truly don't know. I guess I could lie or come up with some really bizarre answer (looking at you two, Wren and Booky), but that's just not my style. Well, usually.
5. Probably be about movies or just some genre I like, Sci-Fi or Fantasy TV shows/movies/games/books, etc for instance. For a movie review blog, I'd probably try and come up with a more catchy title than "Bennett's Movie Reviews".
Thanks again for the questions (and dragging people over here to post) again.

1. How much will you sell your hair for?
2. What shampoo/conditioner would you recommend to one who would like to have the long, luscious locks of their favorite mod, but just can't get that beautiful sheen?
3. At what european boarding school would one go to to procure a suave accent such as thine own?
4. Dost thou even hoist?
5. What would you do if you were stuck in a poisonous gingerbread house, and the only thing inside it with you was an immortal rainbow pegasus moose constantly singing Ice-Ice Baby?
1. The Universe. Nothing less.
2. Lol! Umm.... I think we use Sauve shampoo most of the time, though occasionally Mom gets some organic stuff. I actually don't pay attention to what kind of shampoo I use and I never use conditioner. Awesome hair just comes naturally to me, I suppose....
3. Boarding school of Archenland (aka, the Royal Homeschool Academy) where you will listen to The Beatles and watch Cary Grant films when you are very young in order to achieve the ultimate in sauve and dashing accents. Oh yes, being born in the Southern United States might also help greatly.
4. I have been known to, yes.
5. Start ripping down the house with my hands, climb out a window or ride the rainbow moose... thing... outta there.

1. I believe it is a tragedy of immense importance and that all abled bodied individuals should go out and eat one.... NOW!
2. Math. Because it's.... well, math. Need I say more?
3. Having only seen season 1, 5, 6 and part of 7 of "NuWho", my experience with the various Companions is limited. Having said that, I think I would get along well with Amy Pond and Rory... well, later Rory from the latter part of S5.
4. Yes and.... why not? Mustaches are cool.
5. Teleportation... though without all the bugs and everything as usually seen in movies. Why? Because it would be great to be able to go to various places without having to waste time driving/flying, etc.

1. What you lookin' at? Are you lookin' at me? Huh? Huh? You lookin' at me?
2. Do you think this might indicate that we seek to delve deeper into our personal psyches and strive to truly express ourselves to our fans, whilst for you it may be just a little too much effort to exert at one time?
3. Could that also be why you don't usually frequent the reading groups?
4. Favorite Batmobile?

1. Here's lookin' at you, kid...
2. No, it simply indicates that y'all have a lot more fun delving into your respective insanities than I do. I usually save mine for Chat, RolePlays and when I'm around my RL friends.
3. Doubt it. I just usually bypass them.
4. For pure coolness, the Tumbler (Nolan version). But in the end, you have to go with the more classic "car" looking Batmobile from TAS.

*Ponders*
What's your opinion of squirrels? Are they dangerous or docile? Cuddly and cute or pesky and a pain?
"The mountains are calling and I must go, and I will work on while I can, studying incessantly." -John Muir
"Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." -Richard Adams, Watership Down
1. Favourite childhood show?
2. If you could write a book on anything non-fandom related (so no movies, tracks, books, etc.), what would you call it and what would it be about?
3. If your life were a movie, which script-writer, director, and composer would you want?
4. If a natural disaster (or else, not so natural disaster) resulted in messing with the earth's geography so badly that the only possible modes of transportation were a) boat, b) plane, or c) dog-sled, which method would you prefer and why?
5. If you were told you were going to lose one of your five senses (taste, touch, smell, sight, and hearing), which one would you not want to lose?

They taste great cooked over an open fire with a little salt and pepper and ketchup.
They're energetic and mostly a danger to themselves when they suddenly stop in the middle of the road. I guess I would lean towards them being "cute"... we've never had any problems with squirrels in the house or the like, so I don't see them as pests.

1. Probably the classic Looney Tunes cartoons. I watched some TV shows when I was younger, but not that many as even back then it was mostly movies for me. I also remember liking Zoids and Batman: The Animated Series, though those two were rather iffy to my parents at the time which meant creative means of watching them.
2. I'd probably go for writing an epic quest story in either a Sci-Fi or Fantasy universe... or maybe a combination of the two. As for the title, I'd have to wait and let that come to me as I was writing.
3. Director: Steven Spielberg. Script writer: Joss Whedon (though hopefully he wouldn't go all crazy on killing everyone off... at least I'd get some great banter and one-liners. )
For composer.... either James Horner or Christopher Young. If I could pick ANY composer dead or alive, then Jerry Goldsmith.
4. Boat. Planes would be good, but you might crash and then it would be all over, dog sleds would take waay too much time to train plus dealing with the tempers, etc. of the dogs.
With boats you'd have to deal with extreme weather and the possibility of the engine dying, a hole getting punctured in the bottom, etc. but it still seems to be a better option even with the possible problems it could have.
5. I'll tell you which one I could live without: smell. It's the least-severe-yet-still-severe-enough loss that I could still manage around rather easily.

1. Who have you known the longest on NW (that is still active), to your knowledge? How did you "meet"?
2. How much time passed between when you first found NWeb and when you joined?
3. Which is more important: the plot or the characters? Can you give an example of a story to back up your point (i.e., X is more important because this movie has lousy Y but great X, and yet is still an amazing movie)?
4. If you were a Crayola crayon, what colour would you be and why?
5. What is the most beautiful natural thing (not including people) you've ever seen?
(Also, Batman:TAS is amazing. ...And you do realize that smell accounts for almost all of taste? )
Questions inspired by this week's winter storm:
1. Have you ever had snow in your home town?
2. If so, how much? (details, please!)
3. What's the most snow you've seen at once, anywhere you've been?
4. What's the coldest temerature you recall experiencing?
5. The hottest?
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

1. Uhh... probably Jo. I think we first "met" in the Town Square when I was still very new to all this... and I thought she was a he (thanks to the username "Johobbit").
2. Oh... uhh, a couple of months, I think? It's been over 8 years, so I'm a but foggy on the details.
3. Tough question, especially since both are very vital to a film. I'd say both are equally important, but you can get away with a semi-trite story that has AMAZING characters better than you can a great story with extremely boring or unlikable characters.
Two good examples of the former are Jaws and The Avengers. The first has to do with a shark terrorizing a coastal town then a trio of guys go out in a boat to kill said shark. The latter is pretty much just a run-of-the-mill "villain comes to earth, wants to take over and the heros have to fight him off" type of film. BUT, in both cases, the characters completely and utterly make the movie.
In the latter category is the likes of Blade Runner. Great idea and intricate future-noir plot, but the characters are so dry and sterile that the whole thing comes off as being a tad aloof and never really drawing you in as it should/so obviously wants to.
And yay for a long answer, finally.
4. Uhh... black? You can actually draw a lot more with a black crayon than with the other colors... unless you want the picture to be in technicolor.
5. A valley full of trees and a river running through it.
(*highfives for Batman: TAS* Yes, I realize that but you put them as two separate things, sooo... )

1. Yes.
2. Waaay back when I was really little, we had an actual blizzard blow through (in 1993). More recently, a few years ago we had a late winter storm blow through and dump a couple of inches on us. Nothing too major, but they had to clear the roads off.
3. A few years ago when we got several inches of snow.
4. Down in the teens during late December/Early January.
5. 100 and something about a year ago at the peak of summer.

I will prove how truly demented I am with the following question.
Describe the following NWebbers with your choice of 4 movies, or if you prefer, select 4 movies which each would probably identify best with.
1. Lady Arwen
2. Melian-Lia
3. Badger
4. Wolfloversk
5. Stargazer
I am evil. This is your hardest question yet!

*laughs hysterically and wonders why she didn't think of that*
Ok let's see...
Let's say a certain class is coming to the end of the semester and the professor gives you a choice of what will be your "final exam" grade... Would you take the traditional exam, give a 20 min presentation on a relevant topic, or write an 8-10 page paper on a relevant topic?

"Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." -Richard Adams, Watership Down
I had no internet and I am late. O.O
1. If you were a kitchen appliance, what would you be and why?
2. Which letter of the alphabet describes you best?
3. What's your favourite "party" game (e.g., Mafia, Signs, 4 on a Couch, etc.)?
4. What age group do you get along with best? Why? Has that always been true?
5. What's the first thing you notice about people (here or in RL or both)?
And I'm late with my replies.... o.o Sorry about that, y'all! The weekend was a bit busier than I expected.

ooooh.... you are evil!!
1. Predator, Once Upon a Time in the West, Despicable Me, She's the Man.
(and in truth, Wren is one of the most awesome Mods I know. Right up there with Jo, Shadow, Gazer, Valia, myself, etc. )
2. The Princess Bride, Tangled, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?
(that last one dedicated to the GFoD )
3. Excalibur, Return of the Jedi, White Fang, Wind and the Willow
4. Balto, The Howling, An American Werewolf in London, Dinotopia
5. Star Wars, Stargate, Starchaser, Star Trek.
(Yes, I just named four movies that had "star" in the title. )

Either take the regular exam or write the 8-10 page paper. I'm not that great at giving a presentation, and the final exam might actually be relatively easy... depending on the class.

Don't worry. I was gone from Saturday night through today, so... yeah.
1. A mixing bowl or a pair of beaters. Get to taste dough/bater/icing....
2. R, I guess. I'm a bit on the reserved side, but I can get really into certain things if I want too. Also, I usually let "the others" do their thing and if that fails, then I come in and help. So I'm not at the end of everything yet also not an upfront go-getter.
3. I really don't play party games, so I don't have a favorite.
4. Usually those that are older than me by a few years or with adults. I think it's because I typically like "older" things (movies, music, etc) and I'm a bit more reserved than my peers, so I don't really "click" with my own age group.
Oddly enough, more and more recently I've found myself interacting with teenagers more and actually somewhat enjoying it. Weird.
5. In RL: appearance, voice and attitude. Online: I really don't know since it's mostly perceived voice/attitude/appearance, etc. I guess all the above.

1. Why did you choose those movies for me?
2. If you had to take a foreign language (one you'd never taken before nor plan to take), what would it be and why?
3. If you were on a deserted island with only five books, which five books would you pick?
4. Imagine you were in the Hunger Games. How long do you think you would last? Based on actual skills you now possess, not wishful thinking.
5. If you were a Jedi, what colour would your lightsaber be? Why?
