Really? That's odd...I was sure that concealor would "remove" dark circles...
Well, they're not REALLY bad, but I notice them. :p I probably could be getting a wee bit more sleep, I drink a regular amount of water....

Val, I use Almay's Clear Complexion concealer and love it. :D It works really well both for dark circles and mascara residue and blends perfectly into powder or liquid foundation. It does contain salicylic acid, however, which can aggravate your skin if it's already swollen/irritated. ;)

The other thing I would suggest for dark circles is a cold compress or frozen veggies in a soft washcloth. Sometimes that helps to reduce the swelling. :)

I switched over to brown mascara from black sometime ago and can't believe I didn't do it before. ;)) It looks so much softer and more natural, especially since I have such pale skin. Recently I've been experimenting with eyeliner; does anyone have suggestions for liners that work well (and are not too pricey )?

They get really anger if you try products on that don't say tester. It's understandable though because if you use it they can't sell it. Big W is better since they have tester products wear the kmart has not many. chemist or something would be better.

At the moment I'm rather mad because I just got back from getting my hair cut, and it looks practically exactly the same as it did before I went. Grr. I told her to round the ends, but it looks completely straight across on the back. I hate my hair... it's so boring.

Aww, MissAravis, I'm sure your hair looks lovely. :)

Ha, Val, I have the same exact problem as you. I hate the dark circles under my eyes and want to hide them, but no concealer quite works. It's like liquid concealers just veil the circles unless you cake it on, and then this giant swab of cakey makeup is visible. I hate that. X( I'm tempted by thicker concealers, like the stick or pot kind, but since the most makeup I use is just tinted concealer, I'm afraid it will also look all cakey and obvious. Arg. I went to a Sephora and the lady tried something liquidy on me and it was ok, but you could still see my undereye circles. The concealer she put on me was ok, about the same as my Neutrogena one, but it was like $28. :-o I am so not willing to spend that much on a product unless it gives me miraculous results. For that I'll just experiment some more with drugstore products. I'm so cheap. ;))

So-called smoky eye how-to This is different from all the other smoky eyes I've seen. I don't think it actually counts as one, but it's a cool party look all the same.

I'm trying to grow my hair out still. It's about to my waist now. People tell me stuff about it all the time, but I want it to be longer, like daughter of the king's.
I love the braid links! I want to try them out but I'm too lazy and my sister hasn't come home from college yet. :p

I have to get some mascara soon and I was wondering if anyone had any specific kinds to reccomend. I have dry, sensitive skin around my eyes so I prefer to use more natural products from places like Sephora or Sorma. :)

Aw, MissA, that's too bad! :( (That you aren't too happy about it)
Out of curiosity, how much did you get cut off? I was just thinking in your last videos how long and pretty your hair looked. ;))
I'm sure it looks great shorter too though!!

I used to ALWAYS part my hair in the same place--finally I tried a side part. :p And--*gasp*--I like it. ;)) I think I should part my hair differently more often. :p I don't know why I didn't--I guess I just didn't care where it was parted. ;)) I never really wear it "just down" anyway, unless I'm asleep. :p

I went to Sephora yesterday and got this mascara

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.j ... oryId=1254

It was the cheapest I could find thre but it actually works really well (well of course it does it's more than twice the price of the drugstore kind...) :p

I also had my hair parted the same (down the middle) until about a year ago. Now I either part it to the side or just let my hair dry how it dries. Since my hair is curly I put it up in kind of a bouffant thing when it's wet so it dries well, and I just let that fall how it will b/c the curls give interesting texture to your hair if you just let them dry how they want too... :p

I LOVE Clinique High Impact Mascara (that is the one with the shimmery dark green tube, right? Well, whichever one that is). It makes me look like I'm wearing false eyelashes. I want to buy a new one since my little free sample tube is drying/running out, and so does my sister, but they're so expensive that I only want to buy them when they give you freebies with purchase. But the lady at the counter at Macy's said they only have those in April and October. Boo. :( I really want to try the High Definition Lashes Brush then Comb one. It looks really cool, and I hate it when my eyelashes clump together.

yes it is that one. And I love it so far! Works great, it's not that bad for me at least, b/c I can't wear regular stuff (b/c of my sensitive eyes and the fact that THEY DON'T WORK!!!)and since it's the cheapest nice stuff, I don't consider it that expensive (since others can run for more than $20). :p :D ;)

Ooh, I'm going to have to try that mascara now...

I just got a set with sample sizes of two Dior mascaras...um, I think it was "Diorshow" and something else similair. They are by far the most AMAZING mascaras, period. Completely worth the hype. I definetly looked like I had on false eyelashes! :D

Here it is: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.j ... goryId=B70

Aww, Miss Aravis, that's too bad about your haircut! I know how it is. A few years ago I went for a haircut, and I told the hairdresser that I wanted something drastically different, and she gave me a trim. :(( And since it was slightly shorter and she'd given me more bangs, I didn't notice until I went home that there was pretty much nothing different. But I'm sure your hair looks purty anyways. ;)

I part my hair diagonally across my head. :p

Wow, that's expensive mascara, Glenstorm. :p
