SM--I admire you for wanting to be "chemical" free and everything...but I could never do it myself Just thinking about all the pretty cosmetics I'd have to do without...yup, couldn't do it.
I know a lot of magazines and all say that "the rules" are in the past and you should just wear whatever combination of makeup you like, I still prefer to do a dark eye/light lip or dark lip/light eye. I just feel unbalanced otherwise, and if I do try a darker lip, my lips are kind of on the thin side and if I overload on the other products I just look messy instead of fresh and sophisticated (or so I like to think ). My favorite combinations though, are navy/black eye, red lip (blue-y red, never orangey or coral...)--and then green eye with a pink lip.
I've been trying to get my skin looking healthier latly...by mosterizing during the day time when I'm not wearing makeup or going out (I use hardly any mosterizer when out, as my skin will get all slick and yucky), and drinking lots of water which actually seems to be helping. Unfortunatly, I have a big problem keeping my hands away from my face--picking at blackheads. THe thing is, I CAN get the gunk out of them, but my skin always looks bad after doing that, and I know it's not going to be good for it in the long run, but the only alternative is not picking them and then the gunk just stays in there... *sigh*

Hehe. Which is currently why I don't do chemical free make-up! (You can get them though, just very expensive)
And I also love the whole green eyes/pink lips! Though a very pale-ish pink and a sort of rich teal/sea green eyeliner. Green is an amazing colour, I love the different shades you can get of it in different eye pencils.
As for healthy looking skin, it's good that you're drinking lotsa water! It really does make a difference. I usually drink two 750 ml bottles in a day (withOUT flouride is better), and also take a little salt to help with the hydration, so that the water you drink is not just going straight through your system. But not the bleached stuff they have the nerve to call salt in the supermarket, the Celtic sea salt which does not raise your cholesterol but helps hydrate your body. Keeping skin clear is much less about what you put on your face, and much more about what you put in your mouth! Especially if a person struggles with acne, they probably need a good ol colon cleanse.
I just gave myself a French manicure (white tips), after days of horribly chipped nail polish. Apart from my thumb nails, which look akin to mushroom heads, the rest turned out pretty alright. And the white is not liquid-paper white, it's a little more creamy and natural looking. Anyone here got any tips for doing them better? At the salon they have these brushes they dip in remover, to straighten up the lines.....but I didn't do that for lack of a little brush!

I'm quite happy using my pure Coconut Oil for deep nourishing, -ingredients: Coconut Oil
I LOVE coconut oil- I use it for everything. As a spread, moisturizer, makeup remover, etc.

I use that too
Somebody out there doesn't want us to be healthy
ha no kidding!

Hear, hear!! This week I'm really trying to clear up my skin and get it looking the best it can--so, loads of water, lots of berries & fruit, face masks once a week, and tons of mosterizing!
I've also been on the quest for shiny hair Not shiny-greasy, shiny-um, shiny I've read that Omega 3 is really good for that, and when I take a good amount of the pills each day I do notice my hair looks...healthier? Shinier?
I also have a glossing cream that I got from Sephora. It's just a travel size, but I have a feeling it'll last me ages cause you hardly need anything. It works REALLY well. If you want the name of it (I can't remember it this second) just ask. It's not too expensive, either.
Another tip for shiny hair is to rinse with cold water, or to rinse with vinegar, then cold water (I do think that vinegar "strips" your hair though, so I'm not 100% sure if this is a good idea unless you are trying to get rid of residue at the same time). Then, my top-secret-tip (okay, so not secret)...the silk scarf. Or, anything 100% silk. Tie it on your head for five minutes, wet or dry, or when your hair is damp, sort of "towel" your hair with the scarf...like rub it along the strands. It gets rid of frizz and really increases the shine.

We have something to make hair shiny called Melting Diamonds. It works really well, but it's kinda hard to wash off of your hands b/c it's a kind of oil .
I just got a new eyeliner yesterday and I'm dissapointed in it. I knew I shouldn't buy stuff from the store! Especially if I only had five minutes . I got Unstoppable by Maybelline in charcoal. I should have gotten gray b/c my parents hate it and say it's too dark. My dad even said I look bad . I think it's ok color-wise but I like more of a smudged smoky look and this is very fine dark lines. Not my kind of eyeliner. Hopefully I'll be able to go to Sephora soon and get some eyeliner I like .
I'm thinking about getting my hair cut like Rachel from He Is We.(the girl in my avy.) Not exactly like hers, but I would like to try out bangs. Here's some pics:
You can see better in this avy by Kat.-->
I think it would be cute In the first two pics her hair's slightly different from the lasts two, like the bangs are more off to the side instead of straight across (but you could probably wear them either way). Would you still have a perm though?
^Yep,I'd still have it. The type of perm I get is one that wears off in time, but I just got it "re-permed" in Sept/Oct of last year. It usually lasts 1 to 1 1/2 years.
Glad you guys approve, haha. ^_^ I'm going Tuesday. Bangs, and some layers too, hopefully it'll work out.
I've also been wanting to try auburn highlights, but probably won't be able to this visit.
My hair is fine but thick and incredibly straight, and I always have trouble finding a good style for it, but a few days ago I got it cut like in the attachment and it really works.
As for shine-- I've never dyed, blow-dried, or curled my hair so it's pretty shiny all on its own. Rinsing in cold water does help if I've accidentally boiled it with a hot shower though.

^your hair is really pretty !
Lark: I hope your hair turns out how you want it!
Thick hair is a very good thing to have Lucy P.
I love your hair a lot, I used to have my hair like that a while back ago.
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!
Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
^it depends. I have thick hair but my hair is curly so it can be very hard to handle. At least when I'm older I won't look like I'm losing hair .
At least if you ahve thick hair you can get it thined but if you have thine hair you can't get it thicker. well at least i haven't heard of anyway you can.
I really like neon colour nail polishes. I own liek 30 difference coloured nail polishes.
Just to be clear it isn't me in that pic-- but the hair is exactly the same, down to the color.
Oooh, I love neon nail polishes! I haven't the gumption to sport them on my fingernails, but I'm thinking of going for an Air-Head blue for my toes this summer.
