So they use the plant Melaleuca? in their lotions?. I have never tried any of the products.Seen them in the shop though.
yes. Melaleuca oil is in most of their products. You should try them, they work very well. I use their conditioner and hand soap, hand lotion, acne kit, and chapstick. We also have their laundry products and cleaning materials, and the body wash and shampoo, but I don't use their products for that. I don't use shampoo and for body wash I use an oatmeal bar, it's best for my dry-ish sensitive skin.
I use Niva products, face wash and stuff and dove shampoo and conditioner.
never heard of Niva. Is that Australian? I don't use the acne wash from Melaleuca too much b/c I don't really have acne and if I use it regularly it dries out my skin too much, since it's already kind of dry. But they have a little roll-on bottle that I use when I get a pimple here and there.
Nivea sorry, it isn't australian it is german according to wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nivea
oh are they those chapstick people or whatever?
Yeah they do have a lot of chapsticks. A lot of them.
I thought so.
So I have yet to buy some eyeliner. I actually ahven't been to the supermarket in months . I jsut borrow my mom's eyeliner when I need it . I know I'm cheap, but her's is Sephora and at the moment I can't afford it .
My eye shadows got all wet the other day, they are all ruined, so i have to go out and buy some more, I don't use eyeliner.
aww that's too bad. When I bought makeup for the first time, I got a cake of foundation and then my sister bumped me and the hwole thing broke and spilled. I was upset
I used to have some Nivea mosterizer--it was this one:

It was very thick and perfect for the winter when your skin gets realllllly dry.
IlF, have you ever tried wetting your eyeshadow on purpose? I sometimes do..just take your applicator sponge (it's hard to do with a brush) wet it a bit, then apply the eyeshadow. I find it makes the color more vivid and might make it stay on better, especially once it dries if you put non-wet on top of it.
My favorite mosterizer right now is by Loreal: I use this one at night:

And another very similiar one, except for day time, during the day. I've really actually noticed a positive difference in my skin since I've started using it. It's smoother and just fresher and more healthy looking. I usually jump around with products, once one is done I'll buy something completely different, but I think I'll be using these again and again.

To bad they had soap on them 2. Anyway this is the facewash i use.
Anway i like lipstick with a bit of glitter in it. Like light pink or red lipstick with glitter on ot. If not i put glitter lipgloss over the top.
like this
I'm thinking about getting my hair cut like Rachel from He Is We.(the girl in my avy.) Not exactly like hers, but I would like to try out bangs. Here's some pics:
You can see better in this avy by Kat.-->
that would look nice- I love her hair
ILF: I put lip gloss over my lipstick, mainly b/c my lipstick is very light so I use it to moisturize my lips and then apply a slightly glittery pink lip gloss on top.
Nivea moisturiser is pretty 'nourishing'. My grandma's being using their products for over 30 years now, and it does do its job. Personally I feel a little uncomfortable using a cream as deeply soaking as Nivea when I read the ingredients list on the back and see all the chemicals they add in. I'm quite happy using my pure Coconut Oil for deep nourishing, -ingredients: Coconut Oil. Like Glenstorm pointed out, what goes on your skin (our largest organ) will end up IN it. (Which is why I generally spray my collar or jacket with perfume, and try not to get it directly on my skin). And having an Epsom salt/ginger bath once in a while helps to sweat out those toxins stored up in your lymphatic system.
I've heard of and seen the Melaleuca products alot, but over here they (like most Natural products) are ridiculously expensive. I might try them when they're having a sale, otherwise I'd be spending nearly $60 buckaroos on a shampoo & conditioner set, when I can find cheaper healthy alternatives online or in home remedies. (I have a lot of hair and with three siblings -it's just not worth it for me).
Actually one thing that I've been meaning to do is look into chemical-free make up; but that is also very expensive so if I want to get into it I'll have to stock up gradually. We're talking like $20 for one eyeliner pencil. Somebody out there doesn't want us to be healthy.
Having said all that I do still use quite a few unnatural products that are probably slowly poisoning my body, but I'm trying to cut down and detoxing quite often to help with the toxin overload our environment can bring! What I can do naturally though I will. For example, I find olive oil a great eye make-up remover, just apply a bit on the end of a cotton tip and swipe away (and no, it doesn't clog up my pores, but then again I don't have oily skin). Before that I used to use that soap-free stuff (can't remember the brand now but it was very effective, just not as pure as I'd like it to be around me face). Witch-hazel is also a great toner (used sparingly, otherwise it can be a little drying) and again the ingredients are in the name with no additives.
I can't even remember why I came in here in the first place *scrolls up* oh yes; glitter and lipstick. Two things I like to keep separate, I'm much more of a matte finish kind of person, but I do appreciate clear gloss sometimes. Instead of glitter I will use shimmer stuff on my eyes occasionally though.

And where do we go? And how come it's so hard?
