The monkey and duck are adorable, Bella. (Be sure to pass that on to your sister!) :D What is the sweater for? A doll?

wild rose, I think you would be more than welcome to post pictures of your weaving. Do you work with a portable loom or do you have a full-size one?

For weaving cloth I use a small portable loom. Unfortunatly weaving cloth is something that I have just started learning how to do, so I don't have any pictures worth posting. I also do tableweaving and fingerweaving. I make braclets, belts, bookmarks and stuff like that
Here is some of my latest work

the third belt is the last and the hardest of anything that I have ever done so far.

It figures that the third belt is my favourite. ;)) The wavy lines in the first seem like they might have been difficult as well.

I've heard of fingerweaving but what is tableweaving? Is it a loom that fits on a table?

Oh, yes, I've heard of tabletweaving. I've been wanting to try that myself, since there's not a lot of equipment involved in starting a project, just the cards and something to provide tension (a door or table from what I remember). Are the belts tabletwoven?

Also, I've been looking for a type of weaving that was described as something you could do while walking, but everything I've found so far seems to require something stationary.

Yes the belts are tabletwoven, I mainly do tabletweaving (my sisters are beginning to tire of the endless belts, yarn ,and other types of thread that are constantly scattered around the room ). I am also learning another teqnique of weaving though I am not sure of the english name (in Russian it is called 'berdo' I'll post a pic of it sometime to explain how it works), it is a little more comfotable as you can take it with you wherever you go and not worry about ruining the design or something.

Oh I knit only scarfs. Why do I knit only scarfs? That is all I know how to knit! I just made a Princess Leia dress for a Barbie. I would post a photo, but I don't know how.

Wonderful job, everyone! :)

Chainmailnarnian, I really like that scarf. So very pretty! I love the ending of the scarf, the part between the fringe and the scarf. :)

Ana, ohhh, look at the first hat! *jaw drops* Wow! I really like the orange/white combination.

Here's some amigurumi, beaded rings, and other things I've been working on:

Small sweater. (My pattern)
Sweater #2.
Duckling. (CSLN and my pattern)
Mittens, the kitten. (My pattern)
Side view of ^.
Beaver. (My pattern)
Beaver2
Munchkins, the mouse. Lion Brand Pattern.
Bunny (My pattern)
Bunny2
A side of a card I made. (Each bead put on individually. Talk about sticky fingers. ;)) )
Ring.
Second Ring
Another ring.
One more ring.
Last ring.
Arm warmer I made. (It has a pair, too) Lion Brand Pattern.
Monkey (CSLN's pattern)

Your projecst are soo! cute! I love the little bunny and kitten! :D On the kitten and bunny, did you crochet in the front(back)loops? Or did you use half double crochet?

@Wild rose, I lov e the blue, yellow and red belt!

I recently tried to pick up crocheting again. I used to crochet all the time and I stopped about two or three years ago b/c I just got bored with it. I think the stitches I'm making now are made up :p .

Thanks, y'all, for the sweet comments on my work! :)

Mel, the sweater was supposed to be for a doll, but I was mostly just experimenting in making a sweater. Since sewing it together didn't go so smoothly, it's just an ornament. ;))

Horse_Lover, in majority of the amigurumi I do single crochet through the back loops. I've experimented with doing other stitches, but since hardly anyone I've seen does sc through the back loops for amigurumi, I decided I'd do that to make it look a little different.

WOW, wild rose, those belts are amazing! :D Can't decide which is my favourite.

Aww, Gtg, I found crocheting really boring and challenging some time ago, but now I love doing it. You should really think about picking it up again! :)

^I know, I should :p . I've tried knitting before but I've never been able to get it. :p . I always mess up and it seems too complicated. I think I might try to do some more crocheting though. It was kinda nice- I used to make a ton of crocheted beanies! I bet I could make a nice beret-ish kind of hat too :) .

ILF, are you looking for ideas like these variants on the feather stitch? :)

You could also try looking up crazy quilts: they have a huge variety of embroidery stitches on them, and you could pick one you like from there.
