Awww, really cute squirrel, Pattertwig's Pal. Thanks for posting those! :)

*waves to Tiana and does not ignore Watziznehm, which, I think I've told you before, is quite the fun username. ;))

As for my name, it's simple: I really admire and appreciate hobbits, and "am in fact a hobbit in all but size". ymwhisle Their organic, simple, nature-loving, community-oriented, food-filled (how can anyone not love seven hearty meals a day? ;))) life has always appealed to me, and my nickname for my real name has always been "Jo", so there you go. Plus I'm a Peanuts/Snoopy fan, so, for me, I've always seen it as kind of a take-off on Snoopy's alias, 'Joe Cool' ... kind of, 'though not real obvious. :P

My username is a commercial and universal name that I plan to use more often, I just started using this name like last year. It started when I was trying to find a username which I can use for a long time and relate the name more closely to myself. (not forever though unfortunately =)) ) because I don't think I'll be able to remember the usernames I made in like 10-20 different sites (unless I want to keep my identity well hidden ). Also, the usernames I made contained my favorite characters and I have the tendency to drop that favorite character or lost my favoritism to them (too bad T_T), not all though, only some. So that's how I came up with this username. It's derived from my real name. Maya is from my first name of course and then Habee is my dad's acronym name, yes, the real name is in that acronym. Thus, my name is a cover for my real name. Bwahahaha!

Don't worry, Whatziznehm, you were one of the first people I noticed when I joined the forum! In fact, you drew my attention because of your unusual name. :p

How do you pronounce your name, mayahabee? I really like it, actually. (And this is totally off topic, but who's that in your avy? I'm an anime fan myself).

Thanks, Fire Fairy. The way to pronounce is maya-hubby. I used to watch a cartoon named "Maya the Bee" and seeing I have a Maya and a Bee in my name is quite amusing.

(I'm an anime fan too, but the girl is from a video game, her name is Wang Yuan Ji)

Ooo, good idea for a thread! :) Mine originated when I was sitting with my thinking cap on (I literally have a thinking cap, btw). My older sister was reading the book The Other Boleyn Girl, and I looked over at the title and was like.. *gaspgaspgasp*! :-o And then ska-bammmm! It hit me so hard that my thinking cap went flying off my head. Boleyn to Pevensie = username = happy Meg = :D . I was afraid that it would exceed character counts, but it has prevailed! Which, yes, made me feel like a complete character count cheating ninja. B-)

But anywhoo, everyone should put their stories on here! It's most intriguing. I'll just have to watch for more posts... @-) ...

I lot of people have asked me about my username, so I figure I'd better put up an explanation here. ;))

Well, a long (long, long, long, long) time ago, a friend and I were roleplaying, and I made up a character named Silver. I honestly forget why I named her Silver - because the word sounded cool, I guess? :P Anyway, this character Silver had the power to travel back and forth between different worlds, and I called this power "Wandering". Thus, Silver the Wanderer was born! :D

The roleplay itself only lasted a couple of weeks at the most, but the name Silver started to grow on me. I started using it as a name on a couple of different websites. And since my creative mind thought of websites as "different worlds" sort of, I tagged the "Wanderer" part at the end because it seemed appropriate.

But yes, I am a girl - even though the name "Silver" is technically a boy's name (according to babynames.com). ;)) So if you're one of those people who is easily confused, feel free to call me Sil, Silvie, Sylvia, Silvera, or anything else less manly-sounding. ;)

Cool name Silver the Wanderer, and cool story too!
My name is basicaly my name...well, my first and middle name put together. I really like my middle name and because it is A LOT easier to write than my last name, I use it on a lot of web sites. On some I use CharlotteRose...(sirname of fave actor) But I realised that it was a bit wierd and relevent to narnia so decided not to use it anymore :)
Also, Charlotte Rose is my stage name because I want a name that's easier to sign if I ever have an occaison to sign my name in a hurry! (I am an aspiring actress :D ) Also, I think that Rose is a very natural, fantasy style name and I love fantasy stories! :) Yeah, thats me!

CharlotteRose, I have the same first name, but it's spelled differently, I'm not posting it here just because it will be out in the open, and it's easy to find me by googleing it since its not a common spelling, but yes it starts with an "S" rather than a "C." There's another switched letter too. That's why there's an s in my username (My last name starts with a K)

When I first joined, I didn't want to wait any longer than I had (I had to wait for my parents to look over the site and the rules and approve it first), so I didn't take time to think up a creative name. Thus, I am narnian_at_heart. I actually feel quite horrible about my username.

I joined very shortly after the forum switch and when I thought of using narnian_at_heart, winterlife told me it was already taken. So I searched through all the usernames, but there was no narnian_at_heart. So I joined as that. .... And then a Narnian At Heart popped up with a join date a month older than mine! I was surprised and winterlife told me that at the time I joined, Narnian At Heart probably hadn't switched her/his account over yet. I have not seen them on the forums since then and whenever I think of it, I feel horrible and think I must have kicked them off! I wish I could change my name. I also found out that there is a Narnian Heart as well and I wish I had a more original name.

One of my brothers acutally came up with mine. I've always been a fan of the LOTR films and I'm a big fan of Eyown. But because this was a narnia fansite I thought I should have something in my username to reflect that. Anyway I asked my younger brother if he could come up with something and he came up with Eowyn of Lantern Waste which then became Eowyn of Lantern_Waste. I think there are a few other Eowyns and a few other Lantern Wates but not the two combined :) I think there are some really awesome usernames on this site and its been fun finding out how people came to choose them :)

One night, about a year and a half ago, me and my sister were in bed, and thinking up what username I should have, when I joined (I was going to as soon as I turned 13 :D). And we thought of something like Eleanor, or Elinore; we couldn't decide on a spelling.
But I wanted something that had *some* sort of meaning. So I chose Elanor, from LotR. And I've always been very happy about it. :D

'Arya' is a name I invented for one of my fantasy worlds several years ago. It some began my nick-name for an fantasy games my brother and I played. I now use it a lot for my username for forums.
