A lot of people have been very curious about my username, so this is a great thread.
I was/am writing a fantasy story with centaurs and other half human creatures. Since Centaurs were among them and come from Greek mythology, I decided to give them Greek names. I used Google Translate(though not entirely accurate with pronunciation) and gave one of the female centaurs a name "Louloudi" which in Greek means "flower"(which was also the name of my pet rat). When I commented for the first time in September, I tried to think of a name, so I took Louloudi the Centaur.
Sadly, I have no earth-shattering creativity or meaning behind my username. I wanted to choose one that reflected one of my favorite things, and since all the cool Narnian ones that I could think of were already taken... I turned to my other favorite author, Ted Dekker. I'd seen Dekker fans called "Dekkies" various places around the internet, and it sounded cute, was simple, and easy to type, so I made it my own. I love it quite a lot and just wish it were less common elsewhere on the internet so I could use it everywhere!
"Oh telescope, keep an eye on my only hope,
Lest I blink and be swept off the narrow road.
Hercules, you've got nothing to say to me,
'Cause you're not the blinding light that I need.
For He is the saving grace of the Galaxies."
the name skilletfreak comes from being a Skillet freak. when we (ace & i) was introduction to skillet (the band) i really thought-skilletfreak for NW. really can't remember my old account at all.
also, the name is hawkeye, trinity-hawkeye from the age chronicles series
with co-writers rogue defender & liberty-hoffman.
ages ago, I got an idea for a book and I wanted to have a good name for my main character. I thought up the name Liberty Hoffman and thus, there's the name! I use it and the short version of it, Libby, for all my internet usernames
liberty, you are from the age chronicles!
Christmas is Coming so soon
but we know the True Reason for the season
I first wanted to pick something Narnian but when I first joined the site, I didn't know how to see what usernames existed already and I wanted something unique.
I had just been introduced to the Discworld (fantasy satire) series and so picked a character I liked from those books. Conina has the same number of syllables as my name in real life.
It gets shortened to Con sometimes, which I like.

I've been doing medieval archery for over four years now. When I first joined Narniaweb, I saw some people like Warrior 4 Jesus and FencerforJesus and since I was an archer, I thought I could be something-archer. "Narnian" just seemed to fit naturally.
There was a point where I was looking for a certain thread and asked a mod to help me find it. I waited for a long time, but the information wasn't coming through. Finally I got the PM, and the mod apologized for the delay and explained that there was a mix-up as to which "Narnian Archer" needed the information. This intrigued me, and I looked into the archives and saw that there were 2 or 3 other variations of Narnian Archers on Narniaweb.
I wanted to send a PM to all of them and form a "Narnian Archer" club, but I haven't been able to get around to it yet.

Many would think that my name is because I'm a fan of Shasta from HHB. But to be honest, that's only one of the reasons I chose that name.
We got a new kitten about a year ago, and we were struggling to think up a name. Finally, someone thought of the name Shasta. It reflected on Narnia, and we liked the name. Also, we realized that Shasta is the name of a pop brand. We already had a dog named Pepsi, so we agreed that keeping the pop name theme would be a good thing to go with.
So, I'm a fan of HHB Shasta, a fan of the name Shasta, a fan of my kitty (sort of), and I like Shasta pop ok. How confusing is that?
One of my favourite old Disney movies is Sleeping Beauty and the princess in it is Princess Aurora. Hence my username.
I also quite admire the aurora borealis (?) aka the Northern Lights. Never been to see them but hope to one day!

This is such a cool thread! I discovered it yesterday and I have enjoyed reading the different stories!!!!
"Sheroo" is a nickname my mom has called me ever since I was really little, and when I was creating a username, I decided to use that. But then, I love alliteration, so I searched through Paul Ford's the Pocket Companion Guide to Narnia to the "S" section, and found Stormness Head. (For those of you who don't know, or maybe have forgotten, Stormness Head is one of the mountains that boarders Archenland. There is a Lapsed Bear that Prince Corin fights in Stormness Head, thus earning the name Prince Corin the Thunderfisted.) Anyway, I combined the two, and therefore I am Sheroo of Stormness Head!
I got my name from the stories me and my sisters tell together. They are basically live RPs about three sisters. In it we all have a character and mine was named Faith. In one of the first stories that eventually became a series, the sisters (Courage, Grace and Faith) became Ladies of the Court. So therefore, I am Lady Faith.
I'm an introvert! Anyone else?

In my chemistry we had to get a 3d type mole and dress it up for mole day on October 23, since a mol is 6.02x10^23. I decided to name it Lilygloves because I remembered it was the name of the chief mole that planted the apple trees in Cair Paravel, as mentioned in PC. That was about a week before I made a new NW account (I think I accidentally deleted my old account a while back) and I liked Lilygloves and it was available. And the rest is history.
Fay River is my fantasy name, I guess you could say, she's my character in the story/rpg my bro and I are playing. Pretty simple. Lol!

Well, I got my idea from one of my frequent descriptions.
I'll mention something random, and a sibling will say: 'You're such a weirdo.'
Or my older sister will poke me and say: 'Weirdo.' So....that's how my name came about, I suppose.

I wrote a story a few years ago that was somewhat inspired by Narnia and one of the character's names was Quinlin. I thought of it myself and it seems kind of magical to me, so I decided to use it here!

Hmmm.... I can't remember if I've posted here. I don't think I have....
Well, Gildor Inglorion is a character from The Fellowship of the Ring. (book only). He's kinda little known, so I figured I'd just use the name.
But there are two problems with this username:
1. People keep thinking I'm a guy
2. Everyone gets Gildor mixed up with Glorfindel... they are two completely different elves!
Fara Swiftblade is a character name I use a lot in stories I write...so that's how I decided to go with it.
2. Everyone gets Gildor mixed up with Glorfindel... they are two completely different elves!
I remember Gildor! And Glorfindel is very different...Balrog slayer!
