I suddenly realized a couple days ago that there are so many members on here now where I have no idea where they came up with their usernames. I mean, sure, some are obvious like Tirian and Rilian and Jill Pole. But some of you I have no idea on.
Since I often get asked about my username, I'll go ahead and start.
Back in high school, I was involved with a lot of theatre, and a few close friends and I were really into the musical Cats. We ended up doing a lot of role-play surrounding that musical and even got together one night and did full makeup and costume (Well, to the best of our ability that is ) My character's name was Fantasia which quickly morphed into Fantasia_Kitty as my first email address ever, and the name stuck.
Everybody else's turn!
narnian1,
Boring and simple
I wasn't very creative at all was I? I didn't even want the "1" as it doesn't mean anything. I'd actually go for a change if I could, even if I could I don't know that I'd be creative enough. Besides, it'll be weird having a "new" name when I am already so used to it.
Hm, let's see, where did I get mine from... Oh wait, I remember! Actually, lots of people get my username confused... they take a quick glance and think it's Brother Eustace. But, there's actually no R... it's Bother Eustace, which is a phrase Caspian uses in Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I really can't remember why I picked that phrase, other than the fact that it's always struck me as funny.
On a side note, I'm notorious for registering a username for something and then deciding later that I don't like it. Bother Eustace is one that I am still happy with after, let's see, two years now? I think some of my other more 'imaginative' names are the ones I end up not liking later... so sticking with something simple can be a good thing in some cases.
"Of course we've got to find him (if we can). That's the nuisance of it. It means a search party and endless trouble. Bother Eustace." ~ Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Sig: lover of narnia
I think when I first went to register here on the forums I wanted to be Queen Susan or something of that sort, probably with some numbers in it. But whatever it was, it was taken, so I just went with "ForeverFan" instead.... I'm not exactly sure if it makes sense or if it's supposed to mean I'll be a fan of Narnia forever (or a fan of something forever). If so, I think I was a pretty optimistic fourteen year old when I registered... it's not that I don't like Narnia any less than when I did register, but rather that I doubt anyone can be a fan of something forever and ever and ever. (Of course, this viewpoint may change when I reach "Forever", and if I'm still a fan of Narnia well into that forever, I'll know my username was a good one. )
Dear days of old, with the faces in the firelight,
Kind folks of old, you come again no more.

Well mine has a double meaning:
Aslans is represented as God/Jesus in the books, and everyone is God's (Aslan's) Jewel
and my favorite book was the Last Battle, and my favorite character in that book was Jewel the unicorn so...
Ive been want ing to change it for a while, because people keep thinking im a girl XD
no longer active. every once in a while ill pop back for the memories. good to see a few recognizable names 🙂
I accidentally typed my real first name into the "username" slot instead of the "real name" slot.
I think I originally wanted to be something about "Archer" or something, but I'm glad I'm not. I like the lack of confusion that comes with Kate (except when qwertykate is around).
I got mine from a show about a pack of wolves. My favorite wolf out of the pack was named Matsi which means "sweet and brave". Alot of people say I'm sweet, but I'm not so sure about brave... Anyway, I thought it was a cute name!
-sig and av by Kira- Thanks!
Team Hoodie!
This is a great idea fantasia_kitty!
Since there are Seven Narnia Books and they are called the Chronicles of Narnia, I thought up the user name 7chronicles.
I thought up my user name when I got my first DS back in 2005, and I’ve used it ever since.

haha, I remember her, Kate

Jill Pole is my favorite Narnian character, Jill Pole was already taken so I added the Damsel because she is called that a lot.
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!
Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
I always was a big fan of Susan, but I also wanted people to know I was a fan and follower of "Aslan" so I picked a symbol most people would be able to recognize John 3:16, or J316.
PM me if you would like be part of a Lion Party in the state of New York!
^ That's cool QueenSusanJ316! I never noticed that, it's awesome!!

fantasia_kitty, great idea for a thread! I've always wanted to ask nearly every user on NW where they got their username, but that gets a little repetitive.
My username comes from LWW, when Father Christmas gives Lucy her cordial. He says that it's made of juice from the fireflowers that come from the mountains of the sun. I've always loved the poetic feel to that quote, and so hence my username became MountainFireflower, although it's been shortened to Fireflower a lot (I like that too!). My first ever Narnian username was Narniagirl, so my new one is a welcome change.
I love hearing everyone's usernames so far!

Internet discussion forums were a new thing to me back when I found NarniaWeb, so I didn't think about choosing a profound Narnia-related name (how embarrassing, I know ). But I've been an amateur astronomer for a very long time, and wanted to choose something related to that. "stargazer" just seemed more poetical than "astronomer" or the like, so I chose it.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
Actually, lots of people get my username confused... they take a quick glance and think it's Brother Eustace.
I did that at first, and then one day I was looking at it and I'm like..."wait there's no "r""
I got mine from a show about a pack of wolves. My favorite wolf out of the pack was named Matsi which means "sweet and brave". Alot of people say I'm sweet, but I'm not so sure about brave... Anyway, I thought it was a cute name!
I do believe we watch the same show Is that the one with the man who lives with wolves? I love Matsi! I was gonna ask if that's where you got it from on the getting to know you thread. I don't know why I didn't.
Well mine's relatively simple, I guess if you wanted to split it up it'd be wolf-lover-s-k or wolf lover s.k.
The wolflover part is quite obvious, I loovvvee wolves, they're my favorite animal Lot's of people however ask me about the sk, they're my initials- My firsat name is a wierd spelling of Charlotte, and my last name begins with a silent k. Actually my nickname and first initial spell shark but I like wolf (a common nickname for me here better Originally on other sites, its wolflover47 (4-my fav # and 7- my lucky #), but I've had problems with it being used before, so I switched I also use it on Aslan's Country and Gmail.
Wow, sorry for rambling Great topic FK
