I'm pretty sure Bill was mentioned but we've never seen him in the movies. Yes, that could be very interesting. I hope his appearance is natural and doesn't feel staged. That would ruin it.

There's been two versions of the DVD available so far. There is the Blu-Ray version and the normal HD version. On being told the content was identical on both, I bought the HD version. But there is supposed to be a trailer for DH on the DVD. Is it only on the Blu-Ray version? Or where can I find it on the HD version?

And if so, how do I access it? I'd really like to know. :D

The Deathly Hallows preview is only on the 2 disc dvd or the blue-ray version. It is on the second disc of the dvd. It you just bought the one disc version then you don't have it, but here is a link to it online.

Thank you heaps, Decarus. I did get the 2 disc dvd, though it wasn't the blu-ray version. My copy has on its second disc A year in the life of JKR, which I've watched, plus additional scenes of HBP, plus some interviews with cast members. There is also a couple of other features which don't seem to have anything to do with the trailer, especially as I've watched them, and that is all. If there is a trailer on my second disc of my HBP DVD, I quite fail to see where it is, and don't know how to access it.

But then it wouldn't be the first time that useful info was buried as each film's DVD was produced. ;)

I bought the 2-disc DVD of HBP, but have yet to have the time to watch it. It does promise a sneak preview of DH on it. That should be cool. :D

I am not sure if you are from the states are not, but it is only on the second disc of the US dvd version and it is the very first thing on the list.

Just finished watching HBP a few days ago. I think it's probably my favorite of the movies so far.

Things I Loved:

The acting was very good in this installment. I've never liked or had any sympathy for Draco in the books, but Tom Felton's acting did a lot to change my mind. Alan Rickman was fantastic as Snape, as usual. Helena Bonham Carter's Bellatrix was creepily fun. She's waaay too good at playing evil people.

The music was absolutely gorgeous. I've had the soundtrack since it came out and it was nice to find out where my favorite pieces are from.

Visually, it's a very nice-looking movie. They've had some issues with CGI in the past, but everything looked good this time around.

QUIDDICH! It was so great to see it again! And Luna's crazy hat was awesome too. :D

Also, despite the fact that I've never really liked Movie!Dumbledore the way I liked Book!Dumbledore

Spoiler
I cried through the whole tower scene. Still mad at Rowling for that death.

Things I Didn't Like:
Not a whole lot, probably because I haven't read the book in awhile. ;))

Booky, had you not seen the movie while it was in theaters? Glad you liked it! :D

The only things I didn't like is the beginning scene with Harry and the random girl at the cafe (which was just kinda all-round weird), a few of Dumbledore's lines that also seemed a bit random and creepy ("You need a shave" etc to Harry), and during the scene where the class is making Living Death, Hermione holds the hard-cover school book with the cover bent back (The horror! as if she would ever do that... :-o ).

Didn't get to see it in theaters, sadly.

Yeah, the beginning scene was kinda strange. I can't really see Harry chatting up random girls when he's scared half to death to say anything to Ginny. As much as Hermione loves books, I can't really see her doing that either. I know I certainly wouldn't do it, even to a schoolbook.

I thought the girl was chatting up Harry Potter, not the other way around. ;;)

Though I agree the beginning was a bit lame. It would have been nice to see Dumbledore visiting the Dursleys, to collect Harry, not at a railway station.

Decarus, you could be right about non-USA copies of HBP, though if so it would be false advertising. For some reason, though I got the 2 Disc DVD, I didn't get a trailer for Deathly Hallows. X( I suppose I have to wait until the film comes out. :(

I think the trailer might still be viewable at Mugglenet Wagga :) . That's where I saw it a few weeks ago.
