As for the epilogue in the movie,
Sure the actors didn't look too aged but I still loved the way they look. I don't think they needed to look seriously "old" either. They looked like adults rather than their teen selves so that was enough for me.

We've gone through 8 movies. So like I read in an article about their decision to use the same actors... I would have been upset/annoyed if they had different actors to portray these roles for the final scene. After all their work on these movies, they deserved to close the movies themselves rather than have other actors do it for them.

I thought Ginny looked realistically aged--her hairstyle and clothing DEFINETLY screamed "mother". In fact, if I were her, I'd be a little upset to think that was maybe what I'd look like 20 years down the road
Ron was pretty good, I noticed they padded him out a little, belly-wise. And Harry looked properly older. I just wasn't a fan of Hermione--they didn't really do anything much to her except make her hair more "mumsy". I would have liked to see a few wrinkles.

And I totally agree about having the same actors "close" the series. Not only would the actors themselves, after having invested half of their lives so far into it, feel cheated, but I think the audience would too. Half the reason I was crying so hard at the ending was because they were the same. If they were random older actors I wouldn't have felt it.

I just want to say malfoy looked terrible with that facial hair, it was so funny.

After YEARS of my mother refusing to let me read HP, I read the first one and loved it. I think I like Hermione best so far... She's the one I'm most like. I've never seen the movies either, but before I go back to school I'm going to.

I solved the clue for Day 4. I had no idea what the answers to the first three clues were without looking them up and I don't have the books on hand (which is why I'm thrilled about the ebooks), but Day 4 wasn't hard to solve on your own.

I guess when they said that the clues for Days 4-7 would be easy, they really meant the clues would be easy.

So far, Pottermore is looking intriguing. Not being able to create your own user name or change it later is different (mine is DragonCloak205) and not being able to change Houses after you are Sorted is going to be interesting. BBC news also had a short clip showing something that looked the wand selection process.

Yeah, I already got my second confirmation email. Do you think the Welcome email will look like the Hogwarts acceptance letter? I would think, with the wand choosing and House sorting and everything.

Now that you mention it, I would hope the letter is like that! I know we'll be sorted. I wonder where I'll end. I shouldn't be Slytherin, but in a way I don't want to be Gryffindor- (the most popular). I'd probably like the under-appreciated Hufflepuff House.
