Hobbies and/or interesting things about you: I love to play the guitar, i went to public school in 6th grade but the rest of my life i have been home schooled, i have blonde hair , I am the middle child of three, i have lived in Kansas since i was 2, my mom opened up fairtrade coffeehouse and i get to work there ,and

Greetings! I've been lurking on the main Narniaweb page for the last several months, gobbling up every bit of "Dawn Treader" news I could find.

4. Occupation: amateur author

5. How you learned about NarniaWeb: through the costume study page. I don't remember how I found that, but I am also on a community of historical costumers, many of which love the costumes from the Narnia films (as do I) so someone must have linked to the Wardrobe Door, and from there I discovered Narniaweb.

6. How old were you when you first read the Chronicles: You really want to know? 18. The ripe old age of 18. One day I was at my aunt's house, perusing her bookshelves, and there was a copy of "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". I'd heard so much about it and how much people loved it, so I nestled in a corner between some boxes, opened the pages of the book, and found myself forever lost in the beautiful world of Narnia. I've never quite come back since then.

7. How many times have you read the Chronicles: I actually haven't even read the whole series yet (shame on me, I know ) . I've read "The Magician's Nephew", "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", "Prince Caspian", "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" and am now reading "The Silver Chair".

8. Favorite of the Chronicles: I'd have to say "The Magician's Nephew", though I love them all

9. Hobbies and/or interesting things about you: I love to write, mainly historical fiction novels. I love to sew and am currently working on a doll-sized re-make of Lucy's Coronation Dress for an Etsy customer. I am a dreamer and have no room in my brain for Science or Math. My favorite Narnian creature is the faun, followed closely by the centaur. I am a Christian and I love the heart-thrilling parallels between the Narnia stories and the Christian life and the Bible.

Hello Queen Emmie! It is such an honor to have you here. I'd love to get to know you better and I can't wait to see you around the forums!

By the way... 18 isn't too old for Narnia. You're never too old. C.S. Lewis himself said "No book is really worth reading at the age of ten which is not equally – and often far more – worth reading at the age of fifty and beyond."

Agreed. I'm 20, and I still love Narnia. And there are people on the boards way older than that -- 40+ -- who love the books.

That was a great quote by C. S. Lewis! And yes, I agree, no one can ever be too old for Narnia, except those who are "interested in nothing nowadays but nylons and lipstick and invitations" (to use Lewis' wording again ). May we always be Lucy's at heart.

I like listening to Christian rock usually. Skillet and Fireflight are my two favorite bands from that genre.
