I'm pleased to meet another hockey fan, although I'm a die hard Toronto Maple Leaf fan...

LOL. I'm really happy to see another hockey fan, too! Even if it's a Leafs fan, doesn't matter XD
It's very Narnian looking, isn't it?

Yes... I think there's a sort of understanding between NHL hockey fans that happens despite the respective teams that they cheer for...
Perhaps it's the knowing there are other people out there who understand the game and enjoy it, and know what it's like to see your team go through highs and lows, and such.

Hello!
I finally broke down and joined the forum!!! I've been watching from a distance for a bit.
I'm a Narnian fan though not as long as I would have liked. Didn't read the books until only a couple years ago and this summer, I can finally say I've read the whole series!! Heehee, so happy.
Anyway, love horses, reading, writing, and music comp. Eternally, I am a daughter of the King, and temporarily, a student.

welcome to narniaweb Fledge! I hope you have so much fun here!
feel free to PM me if you want to talk!

Hi, my name is geekprincess, and I'm semi-new to NarniaWeb. *waves* That is, this is my first post, but I've known about the site for years, and I've visited the forum a good deal over the past few months. Today I finally mustered the courage to stop spectating and start participating.
So, without further ado...
Name: geekprincess
King or Queen of Narnia: Queen
Family: Single
Occupation: Office assistant at a local law firm
How you learned about NarniaWeb: Google, I think.
How old were you when you first read the Chronicles? My mother read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to my brothers and me when I was about eight years old. When we begged for more, she read us Prince Caspian and part of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I read the rest of the series on my own when I was about 13 years old.
How many times have you read the Chronicles? That depends on the book. I've probably read The Horse and His Boy the most, though.
Favorite of the Chronicles: The Horse and His Boy
Hobbies and/or interesting things about you: I have always loved to read, especially classic and fantasy literature. I also like to knit, write, and go for miles-long walks, and I have a passion for British history, primarily anything pre-1509 (I'm especially interested in the Wars of the Roses, the reign of Henry VII, and the Alfred the Great era). One of my lifelong goals is to write a novel, probably either a fantasy work or one based on one of the aforementioned time periods. (Can you tell I was basically one big history geek in college? )

Well, welcome to NarniaWeb geekprincess! So glad you decided to post here!

Oh, it's been several years since I filled this out, so might as well update for the newbies out there.
1. Name: Tierza
2. King or Queen of Narnia (guy or girl): Queen
3. Family (single/married/kids): Married
4. Occupation: Federal government
5. How you learned about NarniaWeb: I was looking around for something in mid-2004 regarding the LWW movie and came across NWeb.
6. How old were you when you first read the Chronicles: I was 8.
7. How many times have you read the Chronicles: I'm on my fifth set. Does that count as an answer?
8. Favorite of the Chronicles: Voyage of the Dawn Treader
9. Hobbies and/or interesting things about you: I love to read and travel, and I am a serious Farmville addict on Facebook. I understand there's a 12-step program, might have to look into it. I have a Himalayan cat who I adore and an amazing, loving husband that takes me shopping (LOL) and on great vacations.
