YES! the trailer for Journey 2 is out!
ok - I love the whole trailer, with the exception of the attracting-the-femail-thing... what WAS that?
I am SO watching this movie!

Spielberg doesn't need to do another Jurassic Park movie. The first was very good, the second was decent, the third was a mess. Was there a fourth? I don't know. But it doesn't lend itself to more sequels. I wish he (along with Peter Jackson) just invested in small number of projects at a time, specifically the next Tintin movie. If they're both working on too many things at once, the productions could suffer for it and I don't want a sloppily-made Tintin or Hobbit movie (amongst others).
I haven't seen Journey to the Centre of the Earth but The Mysterious Island looks fun, if rather silly. One to see for the visual spectacles rather than the acting. I might catch it on DVD.

Liberty Hoffman, Oh that trailer has been out since November 10 or so, I actually posted the link at that time.. I rather enjoyed the first one, and have been waiting for this one. I'll be seeing it in 3D, though it doesn't look as good as the original. I can't skip it.
Warrior 4 Jesus: I think that all 3 where good. (and there is only 3) The 4'th will be good. Steven Spielberg did one and two. Not three. So he will do it better then three. I don't think it will effect his other movies at all.
The Hobbit in theaters: 14 December 2012
I saw the 1st Journey not too long ago - and was not impressed, with the acting, story - anything. So I wasn't expecting anything from the trailer. Halfway through I thought maybe I should change my mind - but at the end of it, nope. Won't be seeing that.

Well... Walden Media did have a success with Journey to the Center of the Earth. I'm not surprised they went ahead with a second installment. Although I want to see Journey 2, I will agree it doesn't look as good as the original.
What's sad, is that since I'm so impatient whilst waiting for The Hunger Games, I'll see almost any movie with an actor from it. So it's hard to decide whether seeing Vanessa Hudgens is worth Josh hutcherson or not.
It looks very stupid, but I've been in the mood for something funny recently, so I think I'll live.

This just in. The second Tintin movie is due for a Christmas 2014 or a Summer 2015. Steven Spielberg is currently working on the script with Anthony Horowitz (writer of Alex Rider novels, co-creator and writer of British TV dramas Midsomer Murders and Foyle's War). Peter Jackson has plans to direct it during the break in The Hobbit schedule. Spielberg will be co-directing/producing the second Tintin, as Jackson did for the current movie. I have no idea what stories it will be based upon but I gather Red Rackham's Treasure will be in the mix, to help introduce the loveable Professor Cuthbert Calculus.
Anthony Horowitz has already written the third Tintin movie, which is reputed to be based on the two-part adventure - The Seven Crystal Balls and Prisoners of the Sun. That's not to say there won't be changes and refinements to the script (there probably will be).

Anathony Horowitz?! You DO know he's also a horror author. While the Stormbreaker series is not horror, it's still pretty violent.
Let's hope this works.

Yes, Anthony Horowitz. He's a horror author? Since when? I don't see any evidence of that being the case.

Okay, I've looked into it more, and he has done several comedic series, the Stormbreaker series, several comedy thrillers (Granny, The Switch, and The Devil And His Boy), and yes, two books full of short horror stories (Horowitz Horror, and More Horowitz Horror). He has written more books than I can put down right now about witches and other such creatures, and recently wrote another Sherlock Holmes Novel (to this day I have no idea why). While not completely a horror author, he HAS done horror books, and I found some parts of the Stormbreaker series to be a little gruesome.
I am NOT saying he won't do this well. The Stormbreaker movie, which he helped with, was very different from the book, more childish, and definitely not gruesome.

Oh, okay. Still gruesome violence is different to horror. Horror is designed to scare the reader, not shock them with violence (although that seems to be labelled as horror these days). Some authors are very versatile. I'm sure Horowitz will do a good job of it. Also, there are elements of The Seven Crystal Balls (Tintin book) that are rather creepy and could benefit from his experience.

I know, I was just pointing out that he has done some. I really think he'll do a good job, and I'm REALLY looking forward to Tintin.

I can't wait to see Tintin! We decided we are going to go on Christmas Day to see it!
The only thing that would make it better, is if they show The Hobbit teaser trailer!!!!
Also my Mom and sister went to World Market the other day and came back with some great Tintin stuff!
I got a Tintin mug, Chocolate bar, Taffy, and a great looking metal Tintin Plaque that I have on my bookshelf next to my Tintin books!
If any one is interested:

They are showing the Hobbit teaser in front of Tintin. Merry Christmas!

@Ithilwen: Thanks!
I knew Elijah Wood thought they were supposed to show the teaser with Tintin, but I wasn't sure if it was officially confirmed.
Also I get nervous because sometimes our theater won't play the trailers they are supposed to show (don't even get me started about the time they didn't show the Transformers 3 trailer, I went crazy!!!).
