And since Snow White and the Huntsman had their trailer recently, I guess Mirror Mirror has to have it's trailer too? ;))

I think it might to be safe to say that just by the trailer, the two movies are going for slightly different audiences ;)

Wow...that is not the style of film that I thought Mirror, Mirror was going to be at ALL. I thought it was going to be the artsy, filmhouse type movie, and no, it's a comedy. lol!

I still want to see it, but I will have to reshape my expectations quite a lot. I guess it is good that both films are going for different genres; it should help them out to both be successful. SWatH will go for the big epic genre and Mirror, Mirror is the comedic one.

Ugh ... the Mirror, Mirror trailer. The "Sno way!" joke. It hurts, friends, it hurts.

Before the teaser came out, I was totally uninterested in Snow White and the Huntsman, and I must admit it was for a very silly reason ... because Kristen Stewart was headlining it. Never seen a single one of her movies (actually, I have figured out recently that she was in Jumper, but I don't remember her in it), but, y'know, the Twilight thing.... Anyway, the teaser was fabulous, Charlize Theron's going to make a great evil queen, but I'm still uncertain. Notice that we still haven't heard our heroine speak as of yet.

The Hunger Games was another one that was giving me doubts, after the cast pictures and really lame teaser were posted. But this trailer was quite impressive. Neither of the guys look like I picture them (sorry, Josh Hutcherson fangurlz :p ), but Jenniffer Lawrence is bringing serious acting chops to the role of Katniss, and looks surprisingly good as a brunette. I'm excited (and I didn't even like the 2nd and 3rd books!).

Hmm; I am a bit disappointed with Mirror, Mirror. :P I'm not sure that I'll be interested, though it is beautiful looking. :P If you know what I mean.

Thanks for sharing the Brave trailer. I enjoyed it but I'm a bit disappointed that it's not more mysterious, mature and serious like the teaser suggested. The tone has totally changed. What went wrong?

I wouldn't say anything went wrong. It's just not what the teaser suggested. It's a blend of both I guess.

Hmm... I would call it misleading advertising and I'm a bit disappointed with the reveal.
Anyway...

The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn has finally received it's official classification in Australia. The movie is rated PG for Action violence.

I don't think it's misleading,
we've had a teaser and a trailer. They each give us a different aspect of the movie, both can surely be true. For me misleading would be them giving us only one side of the movie. At least we are getting both feels prior to seeing it, that's accurate for me. :)

The Brave trailer looks a bit cheesy to me... :(

... But then, the trailers to Pixar movies always look cheesy to me, but I always end up loving them anyway. ;))

Lol Izzi, I always love Pixar movies! I recently saw Cars 2....a LOT better than the first one, actually. Lol. I am DEFINITELY looking forward Tin-Tin a LOT. Brave reminds me of Gildor too much to pass up....:P
And, of course, I'm gonna go crazy before the Hunger Games comes out, 'cause it's taking soo long.
Who else thinks they have an awesome cast list?! Especially Peeta and Katniss...

It's 'Tintin'.

I'm looking forward to The Hunger Games movie but I've yet to read the books. I will some day soon. It's interesting that you enjoyed Cars 2 more than the first. I don't think the first was amazing but I enjoyed it and Cars 2 primarily received poor press from critics. I've still yet to see it so I can judge for myself.

See, I'm even a bit disappointed in the trailer visually. I had been to see Singh's last film, Immortals, right before the M, M trailer was released. That movie had flaws of its own and would not be appropriate for the vast majority of NarniaWebbers, but it was gorgeous to look at, pretty much what would have happened if Caravaggio was asked to do art direction on an action movie. :p This is pretty in places, but a bit garish -- I'm especially not fond of the yellow dress that Julia Roberts wears.

Unless I'm misreading your post, and the last sentence indicates that you're really talking about Armie Hammer? (-|

You know, I don't claim to love every PIXAR movie as some folks about these forums do (I even dislike some of the ones that are generally adored, i.e., WALL-E), but you have a point there. Their films usually improve on their trailers, which is both unusual and welcome.

I will say that I am less excited about Brave now than I was after just the teaser, however.

Katniss, yes. Jennifer Lawrence is going to be great in that role. And you can never go wrong with Stanley Tucci. I'm not sure about Josh Hutcherson as Peeta though ... he still looks like a little boy to me.

Is this directed towards me? Talking about what I said about the trailer being beautiful? I just mean all the colors, and wild costumes, and - yeah. :P It's what I thought about The Three Musketeers as well. I just found it beautiful to the eye. :P Sorry if I'm being confusing.

I don't think the first was amazing but I enjoyed it and Cars 2 primarily received poor press from critics. I've still yet to see it so I can judge for myself.

I'm one of those who think the second was highly better than the first - probably the funniest Pixar movie, but a good, worthwhile humor, and though not quite as much depth as other Pixar's, a good deal more than animated movies in general. :D

I find that I don't care what the critics think. :P
They hated the new Karate Kid, and (I'm sorry to anyone who doesn't like it....) I liked it a lot. Same with Cars 2.
