Gathmandais, that would be brilliant but we can only hope because Christian-based productions are often given only very small budgets.

If it makes you feel any better, I warrant that we'll get a full-fledged trailer within three months; no later than December. Think about it; the movie comes out in March. They can't really afford to wait much longer than the end of this year. I'm betting on a trailer being shown with Breaking Dawn Pt. 1...that comes out in November, right? Way to kill two birds with one stone; get the trailer out with a big movie, and start converting the Twilight audience over to a new franchise. *gag* :p ;)

Has anyone heard anything about the movie Machine Gun Preacher? It looks pretty good and it's based on a true story. It's also rated R which I can take or leave depending on why it's rated R. I was curious to see if anyone else has heard of this movie?

And unless it's a huge hit, it also doesn't look like it's coming to the USA any time soon. :P

I'm really looking forward to the Hunger Games movie. I liked the books pretty well. I haven't seen the trailer yet.

I actually like the trailer! I think it was pretty good and I loved Peeta's voice over. I am glad they put her shooting an arrow.

I'm still looking forward to the movie even after seeing the trailer. :p

A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy? Hospitality Committee

^I think that was Gale, actually.

It wasn't bad. I didn't expect much - it was a teaser trailer, after all.

My dad thinks that was Rue's mockingjay tune at the very end. It's pretty and haunting, for a four-note melody.

Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief. Do justly, now. Love mercy, now. Walk humbly now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it. - Rabbi Tarfon

Ooooh, I never noticed that that could be the mockingjay tune at the end! Idk, I always imagined the melody a little more of a lighter tone, but I agree that in the teaser it was kinda haunting...

Fantasia_Kitty, no I haven't heard of Machine Gun Preacher. IMDB.com (which is always true) :P lists it as being rated R for: violent content including disturbing images, language, some drug use and a scene of sexuality (all of these seem necessary given the content and context of the movie). Let's hope the sexuality is only implied.

RE: The four note tune...that is definitely Rue's bird call. :) It was (still is?) being offered on iTunes as a free download; it would make a nice ringtone! :)

Fandago movies has an article that Warner Bros. is looking into a reboot/expansion of a bit of 80s nostalgia, Beetlejuice (Tim Burton's take on the 'ghost with the most' - Michael Keaton. Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis also star).

Seth Grahame-Smith has been tapped as a writer; he wrote the novel Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

So has anyone heard of the movie War Horse? I saw a trailer for it last night, and it looked really good - unfortunately, I don't think I'll see it, because it has my absolute least favorite actor in it (a small role, but there's only one movie that I can possibly bear seeing him in. :P).

Here is a link to the opening scene of Courageous, for those looking forward to this new Sherwood Pictures movie. Definitely has a big surprise spoiler moment.

Elanor, wow, kinda silly, you think it looks really good but won't see it because of a minor role? ok ;) . But I think you should give it a try. I read the book recently and loved it, ( a short read, 120 pages). If the movie is faithful it should be excellent. I hear they're taking some things from the stage play though.

stargazer,
I heard about the Beetlejuice reboot/extension. I don't know what I think about it. The movie was good as it was, I used to really enjoy it. But I don't see where they can possibly take it.
