So the teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises has been released online.
I'm still not quite sure what to think of this film.
Bane has always been one of my least-liked villains and I've never been too fond of Catwoman either, but Nolan has yet to disappoint me with his stories. I'm very curious to see what he has in store for the characters, knowing who all has been cast, knowing Bane and Batman's history, and also knowing that this is the final chapter of Nolan's Dark Knight series.
I still can't believe Nolan is ending his Dark Knight series so soon. I was actually hoping for three or two more after this. I'm sad.
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!

So I came across a trailer for this movie coming out near Thanksgiving called Hugo, IMO it looks pretty cool, but I don't know if I'll see it yet...

I think it's good that he's ending it. Sometimes it's best to leave a franchise at its peak and not try to milk every last penny out of it. I'm looking forward to Dark Knight Rises and hope to be able to get to a theater to view it.
Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.
FencerforJesus, I 100% agree. I am happy he is ending it after this one. I think they're great, but I don't want to see five or six of them.

I also want to see Hugo comes November. I saw the trailer on another site a week ago. Looks entertaining.

I saw that too, over at IMDB! It looks amazing! I can't wait to see it this November. What a great cast, as well!

You should all read the book first. It's based on this book called The Invention of Hugo Cabret and it's written as though it's half a book, half a movie. So a lot of the action is told through pictures. And the illustrations are AMAZING.
I'm a little sad that they named the movie simply Hugo, since the name of the actual book is more interesting. But I'm going to see it simply because I really liked the book and Asa Butterfield is Hugo.
P.S."Brooklyn!"

I was looking forward to this reboot, but the trailer worries me a little. It looks like they're making it a lot darker than I would have preferred, and that "Spidey-cam" sequence at the end of the trailer just looks gimmicky. But on the plus side, from what I can see, Andrew Garfield looks great, and seeing as how we haven't seen anything of the Lizard yet, I'll reserve judgement.
Mark my words, someday I will think of something brilliant to put in my sig.
Thanks for the link Sparky.
Looks very good to me. I like that it seems darker, not as heavy as Batman but not as "light" as the previous Spider Man movies, it needs to be as different from the previous Spider Man's without seeming to copy Batman- I think it works.
Spidey cam at the end does looks gimmicky though. Still, very much looking forward to it.
Anyone excited for the new Sherlock Holmes sequel: A Game of Shadows? I want to go see it! I think I've seen the first one a hundred times. I'm excited to find out more about Prof. Moriarty and Irene Adler. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1515091/
Also I just rented Rango and me and my brothers are gonna watch it...anyone think its good? Lol!
Credit for this awesome signature goes to Tarkheena! Thanks SO much T!
I really dislike the Amazing Spider-Man trailer. Too much of a doom and gloom mood to it and I'm not happy they're dwelling on Peter's parents so much. I've been reading Spider-Man comics for the better part of 10 years and he rarely if ever mentions his parents. Maybe they play a bigger part in his angstiness in the Ultimate line which I'm admittedly not familiar with. Watching the trailer, I kept expecting him to collapse in an alleyway somewhere and howl "My parents are DDDDEEEEAAAADDDD!!!" at the sky or something. And there's no sense of fun anywhere to be found in the trailer. Peter has always been a goofy, wise-cracking guy. If there's no fun and it's all gloom, I shan't bother with this reboot.
The Dark Knight Rises trailer does look cool though. Based upon the crumbling buildings, I'm wondering if we're going to see some aspect of the No Man's Land arc incorporated into the movie. That was an arc in the Batman comics in which Gotham was almost destroyed by an earthquake and essentially abandoned by the government, leaving the criminals and supervillains to run riot in the city. I still think Bruce dies at the end of this movie though.
Considering I heartily disliked the first Sherlock Holmes movie, I'm only looking forward to this one for the score. The score Hans Zimmer created for the first movie was brilliant. But for Holmes action on the screen, I prefer the BBC television show, Sherlock.
Hmmm, I've never seen the BBC television show of Sherlock Holmes. I'll have to check it out.

Hugo looks amazingly good. I'm going to see it and I adore Asa Butterfield!

I'm with you on that one! I got excited when I saw some on set photos for season 2. Won't be long! The Game is on!

Question: Didn't they just do three Spiderman movies?

You suck a lollipop, and you sing a song. Get it right, Jo!
Lucy of Narnia: Yes, they did. And they were going to make a fourth, but there was some sort of creative disagreement, and the director Sam Raimi dropped out, and the project was cancelled. But Sony wasn't about to miss out on all the money to made in Spider-Man films, so they decided to start over and reboot the series. New story, new cast, new everything. So as far as this film is concerned, the previous three never happened. Wikipedia article on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-Man_in_film#Spider-Man_4_.28cancelled.29
