Is anyone else interested in the movie War Horse? I'm not sure that the story isn't very cliche, but it looks like the visuals will be stunning. And I like the plot, even if it is cliche. :p

I'm interested to see what it's about. It's going to have Benedict Cumberbatch in it, Spielberg directing, and it's a period piece. Looks interesting. And yeah the plot is Black Beauty-ish....

Woah back up, Speilberg is directing?! Ok now I have to see it ;)) But in its defense I think just about any movie about a horse is going to sound "cliche" (seriously, name one that isn't)... but I still think they are awesome :P

Looks like War Horse is an adaption of the novel, which was also turned into an excellent play that's very popular over here. Not sure if it'll be as good on screen, a lot of the appeal of the play is the structures they use for the horse, but we'll see.

There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.

I finally finished the first book of THG (in one night ... too bad all of the other books have like 200 holds on them at the library), and just this morning I saw that the LA times did a nice little picture spiel on who's cast so far... I think the only person who hasn't been mentioned so far on this thread is Kantiss' mom

Edit: but they left out Thresh

I just saw a pre-showing of "Jerusalem Countdown" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1562563/ ! it's really well done! I've never read the book and I'm not a huge fan of rapture/end of the world movies, but this isn't anything like Left Behind, not by a long shot! it's really good! :D

Eustace, I've heard of the beaver... originally I just wanted to see it because Anton Yelchin's in it ( ;)) ) but it acutally looks like a really interesting movie... It's kinda different from a lot of the stuff that's coming out to theaters right now. I'll probably see it when it comes out to dvd

Noticed this http://www.deadline.com/2011/04/andrew- ... ister-pip/ while online a few days ago. Andrew Adamson's next film project. Looks interesting. Don't know the book. Anyone know the book and whether it seems like it would adapt well to a film?

Wow. That Transformers trailer looks great! And it's cohesive and it makes sense. Crazy. Let's forget the horrible second movie. This is going to be good fun.

This is going to be good fun.

That is exactly why I LOVE Transformers! They are just good Awesome Fun! :D

I was so excited before this trailer, but this makes me even more excited then before. :D :D :D :D :D
Michael Bay has outdone himself, he has stated in many interviews that he wants to make up for Transformers 2.
He was very frustrated with how the second movie turned out due to the writers strike.

Here are some of my favorite screen caps from the new trailer!
(Click on the link below each picture to view it larger)

I Love how they kept the design of ShockWave nearly identical to the original Generation 1 Transformers Cartoon (which I Love as well)

Here is a comparison of the two:

Foxface is cast! Jacqueline Emerson was chosen for the part.

Jacqueline's face is great for the part, and her eyes are so beautiful! I do hope they dye her hair into a stronger shade of red, though.

I won't be able to forget that horrible second movie since the first was just decent itself. I don't think either of the two is great or anything. I will gladly pass on this third installment. :)

The cast for The Hunger Games is going well, I'm really liking what I hear there. As for Potter's latest trailers, I am avoiding them at all costs. Sure I read the book, but I don't want any visuals on the movie until I sit down at midnight for it at the theater. :D
