On the subject of the Hunger Games cast, I agree with the several "No" votes on Haliee. She is really pretty, and her coloring is perfect, IMO, but her features are much to young and naturally cheery.
I'd kinda prefer someone less well known, as well.
I am very disappointed to see that the Red Riding Hood movie's official site has a Tarot cards game. That is not something to play around with.

I get he feeling that Lionsgate's bluffing us with the EW article I just linked to.
They could be claiming "we have no frontrunners" in an attempt to quell rumors. Especially after the hint Jennifer and her mom gave us at the Oscars, they may be trying to hush up rumors that Jennifer already has the part.
^^ what hint was that Brisa?
really I would love someone who has never been in a movie before- nice and fresh- so she wont get compared to her other roles

A Rumor on TheOneRing.net is reporting the two names for The Hobbit.
If the rumor is true The first part of The Hobbit would be called:
The Hobbit: There and Back Again
And the second half would be called:
The Hobbit: An/The Unexpected Journey
Here is the Link:

And me and my sister were so Happy when we saw this new Picture of
Optimus Prime and Sentinel Prime from Transformers: Dark of the Moon! I Can't Wait!
Optimus Prime:
Sentinel Prime:
This is the reason I Love these movies! Optimus Prime is Awesome!

Those titles for the Hobbit sound perfect!
And georgiefan, it was the last two videos on This Page
I wouldn't say it's a HUGE hint, but something's certainly up. I would guess that Jennifer's been in more serious talks and she and her family have been told by Lionsgate not to say anything about THG unless asked directly.
Of course, I could be reading too much into things becasue I'm really starting to like Jennifer for Katniss.
(Don't know if this should go here or in present movies, but oh well)
Is anyone interested in 'the Adjustment Bureau'? It looks pretty good and thought provoking...

I thought The Adjustment Bureau looked quite good and I've heard very good reviews about the movie. People are saying that it doesn't reach the lofty heights of Inception but that's it's still an above average movie. I'm intrigued. It looks like a noir/sci-fi/romantic drama story.

I was excited for The Adjustment Bureau last year when it was supposed to release, with the delay it got I sort of lost interest. But based on initial interest, I do plan on renting it when it comes out on DVD.
Um, guys? This whole discussion really should be in the Present Movies thread seeing as The Adjustment Bureau and Beastly are both now in theaters. Thanks.
P.S."Brooklyn!"
I understand but that's not the case for everyone. The Adjustment Bureau only comes to Australian stories in the upcoming week. The US isn't the be-all-and-end-all.

So now I'm really confused which thread I should be posting on....
Anyways, I really hope to see Adjustment Bureau possibly in theaters. Warrior 4 Jesus, it does seem to be somewhat like Inception in the ways that it's trippy sci-fi and really thought provoking (although Inception seems more of 'what is real' and AB is 'what is my purpose').
Oh, and being reminded by your icon, I found an old Tintin comicbook the other day (King Ottokar's Sceptre), and now I'm really excited for that movie coming out

Ah, great. More Tintin fans. King Ottokar's Sceptre is a great espionage thriller adventure. It's even influenced by some of Mussolini and Hitler's activities during WW2. The first Tintin movie will include elements of The Crab with the Golden Claws (with the introduction of Captain Haddock), the whole of The Secret of the Unicorn and most likely the concluding part of that adventure, Red Rackham's Treasure (the introduction of Professor Cuthbert Calculus).
Yes, The Adjustment Bureau looks very good. It will probably still be rather thought-provoking but it may not be as mind-bending as Inception (that's all I was suggesting). I'm still going to see it.
I'm kind of looking forward to Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch. It could be good or really, really fail in most areas (but visuals). The art direction looks great and the premise sounds interesting, if not entirely original (strong psychological thriller elements with some fantasy). I love the cyberpunk, steampunk and retro-technologies on display in the trailer. The movie certainly looks silly but all the same it could be a lot of fun.

NarniaWeb is based in the US and it's only common courtesy to respect your host — and the requests of its moderators.
I think, for the sake of having some guideline, we should follow the US release dates because of NarniaWeb's country of origin and the fact that the majority of its community is in the US. This is in no way a slight toward any other country, and it would be a shame to have such a petty motive imputed where it simply does not exist. Thanks for your cooperation!

Thanks for clarifying this, wisewoman.
I saw a trailer for Apollo 18 in front of The Adjustment Bureau this weekend. Space movies (like Apollo 13) always interest me, so I paid careful attention to see what this might be like. It points out that (as in real life) Apollo 17 was the last trip to the moon. It claims that we suddenly quit going to the moon because of previously-unreleased events that happened on the 'real' last moon mission, Apollo 18. To me it looked a little like Alien meets a 'shaky documentary' style something like Blair Witch Project. Not sure I'll see it despite my interest in space movies.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
