Yes, I guess I'm just growing impatient. I first heard about Speilberg seriously considering doing a Tintin movie back in 1997 or 1998. I've been waiting quite awhile.

I’m not sure which states/countries have IMAX theaters, but there is some exciting news today and I think maybe for you to Warrior 4 Jesus!
Both
The Adventure of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn and
Transformers 3: The Dark of the Moon will be released in IMAX 3D! I’m so happy, I really wanted both of these to be in IMAX 3D!
Tintin will be released on December 28th and
Transformers will be released on July 1! I’m so happy!

Thanks mate! IMAX? Nice one!
Australia gets Tintin on December 26th. Not much earlier, considering how well Tintin's known here. Bit jealous of some of the European countries who receive it a couple months earlier.

W4J,
I've had a question for some time now and never ask. Search but never find. Maybe you know. IMDb lists Tintin which releases this year. It also lists the 3rd installment for Tintin for several years from now. Any news whatsoever on the 2nd installment?
Narnian1,
Unfortunately, there will be no concrete information on the second movie until the first one has been released. That said, there has been much talk of Jackson and Speilberg wanting to do The Seven Crystal Balls/Prisoners of the Sun.

Thanks. Then why would they make any mention of the third before the second?
I'll have to look into that comic. Just in case. Still have to look at this year's installment
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I'm not sure why they mentioned the third movie before the second. I guess they're hoping Tintin's successful enough to warrant at least three movies (they've always wanted to do 3 movies). Yes, see if you can borrow/buy that two-parter comic book - it's excellent.

The Dark Knight Rises.
Well, it's confirmed- Anne Hathaway won the role for the movie. She will be playing
Tom Hardy's role has been confirmed, we knew he was cast but didn't know the character. He will be
Honestly, I can't see either of those two actors in the roles, but that's what I said about Heath Ledger and he turned out to be brilliant in the role. I know these castings are going to be the subject of a lot of hysterical fanboy ranting, but I'm not doing that. Nolan's done nothing to lose our trust yet.
Speaking of losing trust, anyone see the horrible cast photo on Coming Soon for X-Men: First Class. It looked like a parody instead of any sort of legitimate team lineup. I'm very nervous about this film now.
Anne Hathaway's pretty talented, and surprisingly versatile, as well. I'm sure she'll pull it off.

I'm excited for the movie Beastly, the trailer looked really cool, and it was based off a book, Which I got from Barnes and Noble so I can read it before the movie comes out!
NW twin to Georgiefan! NW sib to 22!
avvie by AslansChild thank you!!!
Hmmmm I don't know about Beastly... Mary-Kate seems a bit too old to play a high schooler nowadays.... never knew it was a book though...

Besides two more new TV spots, there is also a little featurette about the costumes, which was rather interesting, and a Behind the Scenes featurette. Each of these videos includes new footage - From what I'm seeing, despite the big changes there is also fair amount of adherence to the book, which is encouraging. I'm still planning on seeing it, though most likely it won't show at our local theater.

The Eagle is something that caught my eye because it looks like it takes place around a time period I like. I don't know too much what the movie is about, but I'm keeping my eye out for info.
