Heh, I was coming to post the trailer too. I think it looks fantastic too. I'm really excited about this movie, when I wasn't all that excited before seeing the trailer. I have confidence that the plot will be better this time since they used a World Fantasy Award winning novel Disney had the film rights to as inspiration for the plot.

And here's the first Thor trailer! It actually looks pretty good, which I'm pleasantly surprised by.

You think Thor looks good? We saw the trailer both times when we saw VDT and I thought it looked really stupid.

I've never read Marvel's take on Thor and I don't think I'll see the movie but it looks far from terrible. For one the sets look good and it has Natalie Portman.

I saw this trailer on another website - The Tree of Life. I don't know much (translation = anything) about the movie, except that it's a drama of some kind, but the cinematography looks great and the movie looks heart-felt.

I saw an inside look at POTC 4: On Stranger Tides! It looks so good and epic. Jack seems to have a love interest too. Should be really really good!

There's a new poster for The Eagle!

I like the look and feel of it a lot more then the last one - less generic grittiness and more authentic/book-appropriate atmosphere. BUT - it emphasizes the Marcus/Esca rift by having them turned fully away from each other. Not so good.

Hopefully we'll get another trailer in a bit -after all, it's coming out in less than two months!

Just a note - the shield on the right - makes me think of the dialogue in the book regarding the "People of the shield-boss" versus "The people of the dagger-hilt" (if I remember correctly)

I can't wait until The Hobbit comes out.

I have mixed feelings about The Hobbit.....it seems like it's kinda late to make it honestly and they have not even started filming!
we shall just have to see!

I have mixed feelings for two reasons.
1) I'm in Narnia-mode right now, not LotR mode. (Though I'm sure that will change when I'm in the Hobbit theater. )
2) Will it be as good as LotR? It's so much simpler...will Bilbo be as good a hero as Frodo?
But I'm glad Gollum and the ring will be back. Can't wait until "Riddles in the Dark"!

I'm a bit behind the times, but I just saw Tangled and they were playing the trailer for Cars 2 before it. At this first look, I was unimpressed. I was rather chuffed to hear Michael Caine's voice in the film. I think he's excellent; but besides his presence, there didn't seem to be much to be said for the plot and there was a lot more Mater than McQueen (which is actually probably fine with me).
Did anyone else have thoughts?

I'm not so sure what to think of Cars 2, but unlike majority I think the original was a great movie. I love most of of Pixar movies, (the few I don't love, I at least really really like). I will definitely give Pixar the benefit of the doubt, again. They've earned that much. I'm looking forward to the movie.

My current thoughts on Cars 2 are these: The trailer doesn't particularly impress me, but neither have the trailers for the past several Pixar films, all of which I love. I have no reason to doubt Pixar as I love all of their films to date, even the first Cars, which is good, although significantly less so then other Pixar films. I expect Cars 2 to be a good film. I doubt it will end up on the top of my list, but I don't doubt that I'll enjoy it.

I think it'll be fine. The first Cars certainly wasn't my favorite Pixar film, but it was by no means bad. I enjoyed it a lot when I saw it in theaters. I have no doubts I'll enjoy Cars 2, as well

I like Cars but I'm kind of skeptical about Cars 2.....

Oh yeah...I was wondering what they'll do for Cars 2. Sometimes sequels hit the mark, sometimes they don't But I love the line from the trailer where Mater says "I think we're in a bit over our heads." or something like that.

^^ *GASP* The trailer to Cars 2 is out? I think I remember hearing something about the trailer coming out, but I never got the chance to see it. Does someone have a link to it?
