I also think Martin Freeman bears a resemblance to the actor that played Bilbo in the LOTR trilogy, I find this to be perfect casting.
Richard Armitage, I think he will be great as Thorin. I wasn't surprised to hear this was his character. I'm happy the other hobbits have been announce- except for Balin- can't wait to hear on his casting. Given
Sylvester McCoy has been cast as Radagast the Brown in the Hobbit!

Also for those who may never have seen it, a few years back Decipher Inc. came out with The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game and among the cards was a Radagast the Brown card.
I'm not sure how Radagast will look in The Hobbit movie but I thought I would show you what he looked like on the trading card to maybe give you an idea.

Doctor Who as Radagast the Brown? Interesting. I have to say the casting isn't what I expected but that's not to say it's bad. I love the idea of Martin Freeman playing Bilbo Baggins. The man is a class act.

Does anyone know if there's going to be a Cheaper by the Dozen 3? I highly doubt it, but I was just wondering. Is Martin Freeman the wedding planner off of Father of the Bride?
"Are you sure you're eighteen?"
"Why? Do I look older?"
No. Martin Freeman is not the wedding planner in Father of the Bride. I don't believe the wedding planner has any similarity to him at all.

That's Martin Short. Not Martin Freeman.
Martin Freeman is on Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Office, Sherlock (which premiers in the U.S. tonight), and Love Actually.

To clarify for the other poster, (I know you E+J know this), he's on the original UK version of The Office. Not the US version of the show.

Nolan officially names next Batman movie: The Dark Knight Rises.
The villain will not be Riddler as previously rumored, but he wouldn't say who it was.
It also will not be in 3D.
I wish they could have a more original name.
Do you know when the planned release date is?
According to BOM, the planned released date is July 20, 2012.
I also wish the title was more original. Still, there is time to change/revise it. Hopefully he does.
I heard that another Spider-Man is in the works, is that true?
aragorn2: Yes. It will be directed by Marc Webb (ha ha, Webb) and star Andrew Garfield.
It's going to be a re-boot, with Rhys Ifans as the villain (rumored to be the Lizard), and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy.

There's probably a bunch of websites with better info, but as i'm something of a n00b when it comes to following developing films, i'll just suggest going to google news and typing 'spider-man reboot' in the search bar. You'll find plenty of articles on the topic.
