I'm glad Andrew got the part. Of those on the short list, he's most definitely the most talented and versatile of the bunch. Check out The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus or Boy A to see some of his best work. He'll also be in The Social Network and Let Me In, later this year; two movies that should both be excellent and showcase his talent.

With a great director, Marc Webb, and a great lead, I'm actually starting to get somewhat excited about this movie.

I must express exasperation at Let Me In. I saw the trailer recently and although it looks good, this is because it's very visually similar to the original. The plot is pretty much exactly the same, several shots are taken straight from the original. I can sometimes understand adapting a recent film in order to take another spin on it, but all this version is doing is having everyone speak english instead of swedish. As I'm fairly certain we can all read subtitles, I fail to see the point in this.

I have yet to see the original version of the film, although I want to and if I ever get the chance to I certainly will. I hear it's superb. The trailer for Matt Reeves' version has me intrigued though. I've heard, like you stated, that several shots are identical to those in the original though, which is somewhat strange. Seems like they are trying to make a very faithful adaptation.

Nevertheless, I'm still excited to see the new version. If I haven't seen the original by the time it hits theaters, I'll have nothing to judge it by, but with the director and cast lined up, I'm sure it won't be terrible. Chloe Moretz totally won me over in Kick-A, and Kodi Smit-McPhee was excellent in The Road as well.

Don't know if this has been discussed yet but I was horrified when I recently found out they are currently filming a remake of Joan Crawford's classic movie, "Mildred Pierece".

I don't care who's in it or what people say. It will never beat the original. You don't mess with Joan Crawford's films. You just don't.

I'm looking forward to a French film on the affair between Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky... she revolutionised fashion and he revolutionised music. They're both incredible people, the movie should definitely be interesting!

Mildred Pierce, This one is being made for TV. Kate Winslet will be in it. I think it looks interesting. I'll be watching it.

I saw a trailer for Tron Legacy on the big screen this weekend (it's here). Familiar names include Bruce Boxleitner and Jeff Bridges. The Light Cycles look pretty good in this new version.

Too Awesome . I can't wait for TRON: Legacy This is going to be a fun-packed Holiday Season. I just hope there's enough love to go around for VDT and Deathly Hallows also. I've already decided I want to see all three 10 times each on the big screen, and I don't know how to fit them all in.

I too can't wait for Tron Legacy. The new lightcycles do indeed look awesome, as does the new Recognizer (hopefully they'll have an updated Tank unit in there somewhere ). I've been waiting for a sequel to one of my favorite films since 1982.

latest reports were that Brendan Fraser was NOT returning for the second part. There has been no change to that report, and the movie was being then set up for Josh to lead.

^^ yes, this I have heard but one source said that there is a chance that Brendan Fraser might return because he almost didn't do Mummy 3 but returned anyway.....I hope this is the case! but if it isn't, I have no doubt that Josh Hutcherson can lead the movie well

I hope he comes back, bu you should take that source lightly because it seems like they are just trying to b hopeful that he returns, more credible sources say he isn't returning. Though I would love for him to return too!
