Eh, Tangled looks...stupid. That guy is pretty obnoxious (prepare for the smoulder ). And what's with the pet chameleon in the middle of Medieval Europe? And I didn't know that you could have muscular control over your hair. Whatever. Maybe I'll watch it sometime when it's on DVD.
Tangled doesn't look like it would be very good to me. It looks complete opposite to the original fairytale and it looks foolishly dumb. Disney should keep to classic tones like Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Princess and the Frog when it comes to their animation and humor. This looks like something Dreamworks would flat out come up with. No I wouldn't see it.
I'm sorry RevealinginWonder, but I have to disagree. Josh's career would be mostly down the toilet if he did the Spiderman reboot. He wouldn't be taken seriously anymore if doing it because so many people are against the idea and no. It would ruin him and he's got so much potential.

^^ I agree. Disney needs to keep the humor like it was in Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast. I thought the way her hair started "beating" him up and grabbing him was kinda weird too. The guy is also just plain annoying.

^ditto. Exactly what I said. I wish Disney made more classics instead of modernizing all these stories.
^^ It seems like everyone is making "modern" movies now. I think they think people will buy more of the "modern" movies or something. I personally like classics, and I won't be seeing Tangled when it comes out.

Well, Disney has released its first official trailer for Tangled (Rapunzel).
wow. that looks really obnoxious. I mean, is the whole movie going to be about her hair? if the title is to be believed, I think it is. and the trailer seems to make that the whole point. I know I won't see this movie on purpose!

Well, in the end it is Rapunzel so I think it makes perfect sense to emphasize on her hair a little bit. I didn't like much how her hair beat the guy, but I thought the rest was fun looking. The guy I don't think looks annoying at all, that look he gave her I thought was funny. I don't see what's wrong with the chameleon either.
It's not traditional Disney to be sure, which is the best, but it looks to be a great movie to me unlike The Princess and the Frog which I hated.
we all know that Toy Story 3 is coming out next week and here's a sneak peek at some of the behind the scenes!

yes I like classics too! I hate how movie producers think that people will only like/watch a movie if it has crude humor, bad language, and is over-sexed.
Glenstorm, a pet chameleon in Medieval Europe is much more believeable than the modern additions Disney usually has in their movies. Besides chameleons are awesome. As for the man being obnoxious? Maybe that's the point. This movie seems to get a lot of hate even before the release. This is just a teaser, the trailer should clear it up a little.
Currently watching:
Doctor Who - Season 11
Has anyone seen Fright Night? It was about a teenage boy living next to a new neighbor and discovers he is a vampire.
Well they are remaking this movie with Colin Farrell and Anton Yelchin. What are your thought?
Personally I'm a little worried because one, it's a remake and two, it frightens me that vampires are taking over now. The only thing that I like about it is that Anton Yelchin is casted and I love him!

I think I have seen that one before. Is that the one that has the old guy in it who's a former star of vampire movies and he helps the kid battle the vampire? It's been a long time since I've seen it, if that's the one, so I don't really remember if I liked it or not. I wonder if the remake streak is ever going to end, it's gotten beyond tiresome.
Yeah it's some man from a show the boy watches him on and he goes to the man when finding out his neighbor is a vampire for his help. I remember that actior Chris Sarandon was in it.

Yeah it probably is but it's still annoying. I think they're awesome too but in the right setting . It might be the point. Probably one of those typical man-of-the-world meets beautiful girl who totally changes him. But I'll wait for a complete judgement until I see a trailer.
I got on here to see if anyone had mentioned the new Tangled trailer. Now I see there's a raging discussion going on!

No, the teaser came out several months ago. This is definitely a trailer - though I'm guessing there will be another one coming soon that focuses more on Rapunzel, and less on Flynn; they've got to appeal to both audiences, after all.
For some reason I thought this was going to be done in traditional hand-drawn animation, or at least an imitation of it, a la The Princess and the Frog. The fact that it isn't automatically makes me less interested. I'm not a fan of what they're doing with the story, either. I should add that "Rapunzel" is my favorite fairytale after "Beauty and the Beast," and for years I've been longing for a traditionally animated Disney film version that is true to the basic idea of the story, a la The Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast. This looks more like a modern spin-off - something that worked with The Princess and the Frog, but then again, "The Frog Prince" is too simple for a straight adaptation and Disney helped things by modernizing the setting along with the concept. "Rapunzel," on the other hand, is a GREAT story with lots of dramatic potential. And really, I never thought I'd see the day when a Disney princess expressed herself like Alicia Silverstone in Clueless.
"Best day EVERRR!!!"?
No. Just no.
