Ah, you're a Scream fan? I'm still on the fence about the 4th one too. I'll probably see it, just because it will be fun to see Gale, Dewey, and Sidney on screen together again. It seems though that the focus is going to be taken off of these characters, and I've heard some rumors concerning one of the three which makes senses but is disheartening at the same time. Wes Craven is due for another good movie though, it's been awhile and he needs to make up for Scream 3.
I wonder who shall be the killer this time around in Scream. If I ever thought there was going to be another Scream I thought that would have been a remake in this generation.
Yes Dewey and Gale would have to be my favorite of all. I can't wait to see them.

From what I've read, the story will take place several years later, so that the characters will match their respective actors ages. The new "main" character is Sidney's young cousin, who will be played by Emma Roberts. Rory Culkin from Signs is her "love interest" and Hayden Panetierre takes over the role that Randy had in the first trilogy, which is the nerdy friend with movie knowledge. How the returning characters play in the story has yet to be revealed.
I'm sorry, but I can't picture Hayden Panetierre playing a nerd. Anyone want to bet they give her glasses?
Hayden Panetierre is such a pretty actress I can't see her as a nerd. I can see Emma Roberts as a nerd. I hope the parts are mixed up, no offense to Emma or anything but I would much rather see Hayden as the main character in Scream 4.

I can't see her in the part either, but she might be fine in it. It will definitely be a different role than she is used to playing. Ashley Greene, from the Twilight films, was originally in talks for the part that Emma Roberts now has but it didn't work out for some reason. Maybe conflicts with her shooting schedule for Breaking Dawn? I definitely could see her in the lead more so than Roberts.
Hey all! Haven't been on in a loooong while.
I'm looking forward to The Last Airbender. I know there's a lot of controversy over the casting but I'll see it anyway.
I bet this is already on here somewhere...

Yeah I read that last night. Ashley Greene would have been perfect for the role and looks as if she can be related to Neve Campbell. Emma is to much of a Sarah Michelle Geller who

Libby, The Last Airbender is an M. Night Shyamalan film coming out in July. It's based, as far as I know, on the animated nickelodeon television show Avatar: The Last Airbender. There's some speculation that the VDT trailer may be attached to it, since it's being released in 3D and 2D.

Damsel, haha you're right, she does. I would've liked to see Greene in the role. Maybe it's only because I've seen her in twilight ( ), but she seems like the kind of actress you would see in a horror/slasher flick like this.
Yes I feel the same way about Ashley Greene too. She's very pretty and a good actress. She deserves to do other things besides Twilight.
LH: Last Airbender is also based off of three books, I forgot the authors name but I'm sure you can find it on wikipedia and amazon.

Um, The Last Airbender is based on a children's TV series, not books.

Doctor Who - Season 11
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with the films for this summer season. There are a couple of films that I look forward to seeing, but for the most part its just sequels, remakes, movies based on video games/animated shows/cartoon strips (oh where has the creative talent gone?).
I'm really annoyed with The Last Airbender. As a firm supporter of animated material, it pains me greatly to see it turned into live action. I never cared The Last Airbender cartoon, but what people need to realize is that these shows are animated for a reason (both live action and animation have their sets of challenges, but believe me, it's much easier to create a live action piece than an animated one. I can't state it in enough that things are animated for a reason and they just don't work when taken to live action). Need I bring up, for example, the Scooby-Doo films or Speed Racer?
The other major issue I have is with Marmaduke. Why oh why does he talk in the fillm? Leave the comic strip alone, he never talked there. Need I remind people how bad this type of movie is, with the over the top "acting" of the animals (the Garfield and Scooby-Doo films to name a few).
Someone has to let me know on this one, but I saw that the film Seven Samurai is due out next week. Please, oh please tell me that this is not a remake of the original. Sure the original had some flaws, but you don't touch the classic movies. The greats have said: "don't remake the good movies. Remake the bad ones." I couldn't agree more.

I didn't mean that they were books at first. I understand that TLA was in fact a animated TV show, but now with all the three seasons Water, Earth, and Fire they were called "Book:", They are made into books as well.
And the first movie was made about season one Book: Water, is what I was trying to get at.

Box Office Mojo doesn't have this movie registered as releasing next week nor anytime actually. There is however, in IMDb, a movie releasing next year: The Seven Samurai, couldn't tell you if it's a remake or not though, based on user comments it seem so though.
