Thanks for posting that Super Bowl trailer for The Last Airbender, fantasia. The action does look good.

I did recognize most of the episodes those scenes come from, so I'm cautiously optimistic it'll be a faithful adaptation. Yet there's so much material in the first season alone that I don't see how a single movie could cover it - we need character and story development in addition to all that action. ;)

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

Same with me. The plot was extremely confusing, and there were too many betrayals...not to mention I was sobbing all through the credits b/c of the second-to-the-last scene with Will and Elizabeth

Haha, I think everyone was trying to be like Jack with all of the betrayals (because he seemingly switched sides so much in the first one)...but IMHO they all fell short. You still like Jack, even when he betrays. When Will did, it just got on my nerves :P I will admit though, the end was pretty sad. Then I saw the Easter Egg too, and felt a little better, but that's cool about the commentary.

I highly recommend seeing the Robin Hood trailer, the first one's a little creepy, but really cool :D http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/robinhood/ <)

I know! It's pretty hard not to like Jack, even when he does the most terrible things. But when Will started making deals with the "evil side :p " I felt like yelling at him "You're supposed to be the good guy!!!!" ;)

I saw both trailers and...it looks great! Now I'm really excited to watch this movie, can't wait!!! :D :p

Robin Hood has actual surprised me. When I first heard that they were making it I didn't think much of it. 8-| Until they cast Cate Blanchett and Russell Crowe.
I really like the look of the trailer and how they gave he story an authentic feel to it. :)
I Love Gladiator! :D So this will definitely be on my must see list when it comes out in May.

I haven't seen Gladiator but I saw Russel Crowe in Master and Commander, so I'm hoping this movie will be great...and by the looks of it, it will be :D :p !

My concerns about Robin Hood and Last Airbender are the same as for Prince of Persia and Iron Man 2: not being able to get to a theater. That is unless I get a intership where I will be able to get theatrical access.

Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.

The theatrical trailer for The Last Airbender is out:

I was really surprised by how good the trailer looks. I've been a fan of M. Night for quite awhile, but I wasn't sure how I felt about him doing this sort of movie. I must say, it looks quite impressive. Knowing that M. Night's story's are usually quite character driven, it makes me more hopeful that this wont just be another special effects fest.

I'll always be a,

Either tomorrow or Saturday, I'm going to check out Percy Jackson. Having not read the book, I can't really say what to make of it yet, but it looks interesting.

I am really excited about Last Airbender. The SB preview was awesome. This is the first film of M Night Shamalayn that I am aware of that actually has an original source. I never did watch the anime cartoon but this looks to be a much better anime-to-live action adaptation than Dragonballz was. Of course, I don't know if I will be able to get to a theater to actually watch it or not.

Avatar isn't really an anime though it does have anime influences. The Super Bowl commercial and the theatrical trailer look pretty good though. It looks quite a bit darker than the series though. I suspect they've stripped a lot of the humor from it. :(

My mom, sister, and me are taking my four younger cousins with us to see Percy Jackson this Friday also! :) I hope it's good. I love Greek Mythology which is probably one of the main reason I'm going to see it. :)
