yeah it sounds funny, but I'm not sure if it's my kind of funny yet. I'll probably wait till it's on DVD. Actually I'll probably do that with the other two movies as well...

Movies I'm looking forward to:
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Alice in Wonderland
Terminator 5
Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Movies I'm not looking forward to:
The Karate Kid- It will be a lame remake, I know it.
The Breakfast Club- Why remake a classic?
Nightmare on Elm Street- Again why remake a classic?
Footloose- Need I ask again?
Beastly- bad cast, why Vanessa Hudgen's as Linda? Linda is not supposed to be pretty and has red hair, not black. And Mary Kate Olsen as the witch. *Cringes*

That's all I could think at the moment. Will edit or post another when I think.

I *think* I might go see The Tooth Fairy. I liked Dwayne Johnson in The Game Plan and Race to Witch Mountain. Of course the real reason I want to see it is because Julie Andrwes is in it ;)

The Karate Kid- It will be a lame remake, I know it.

wut. How could you remake Mr. Miyagi? Or Daniel's 80's teen angst? Is there no respect for classics?? My goodness. I just looked it up on IMDB, and apparently they move the setting to China where the kid learns kung-fu. :-o So why is it still called Karate Kid? It should be Kung-fu Kid. I am confused...they are probably trying to make an extra buck by keeping that name that everyone knows.

Toy Story 3 will probably be good--I'm excited to see all those characters again^^ Pirates 4? Well judging by my opinions of 2 and 3, it probably won't be so good. I wonder if they will get everyone back or if they will change up the cast.

My brothers want to see Frozen. It looks like one of those freaky nail-biters...the only reason I might be convinced to go see it is because according to the trailer the scary predators in it are wolves. They could have used a mountain lion, and then I wouldn't go near the movie. If any animal makes me quake in my boots, those big kitties do. :-s

Well Pirates 4 is going to have a new director (Rob Marshall, whose film credits consist of Chicago, Memoirs of a Geisha, and the recent musical flop Nine). Also, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley won't be back, so the movie is definitely going to have a different feel to it, not entirely a bad thing in my opinion.

Concerning The Karate Kid, the trailer looks surprisingly decent (

), and I loved Taraji P. Henson in Benjamin Button, so I may give it a chance. As a side note, Sony is also reporting that the movie has earned the second highest screen testing score in studio history.

I'd likely see Pirates 4 for the sword play (that was the reason I saw the first), but I'm not holding my breath on it. Pirates 2 was good except for a part 1 of 2, and I could have seen some benefit of the Cannibal Island scene if they used it a bit more later on, but they blew that one. Part 3 was a total let down with the set in 2. So I don't know about Pirates 4.

Karate Kid sounds like The Spy Next Door that just came out this week. It sounds to be like a just for fun action flick with Jackie Chan but I don't expect it to stand out.

Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.

I've only seen the first Pirates movie. I really liked it though. I'm hoping the other ones are good too. And the fourth one...too bad Keira and Orlando won't be back... :(

I'm looking forward to seeing The Eagle of the Ninth; which I think comes out sometime later this year. I can't believe no one's ever tried to make a movie of that book before.
