1. Aslan. Not just saying this because I'm very fond of Narnia, but the things Aslan says and encourages, the wisdom he has-- it is very encouraging.
2. Beth March from Little Women. I've always admired Beth, even though I hate to admit I'm too much like Amy. Beth is just the sweetest.
3. Jo March. Ah, Jo. Who can't like Jo?
4. Annette from Treasures of the Snow. Her protectiveness over Dani and her other traits take my heart away for her.
5. Lucien from Treasures of the Snow. I can totally relate to Lucien, since I've been an offender way more than the offended. But his responses and change of heart never cease to enlighten me.
6. Anne from Anne of Green Gables. Pretty self-explanatory.
7. Shasta from Horse and His Boy. His battle, mainly with himself in finding faith, is one I can relate to. From all C.S. Lewis' phenomenal human characters, Shasta has always somehow been the one close to my heart. The conversation he has with Aslan in the dark always makes me emotional, since I really trace back God's speaking to me in a very same way.
8. Samwise Gamgee. "I made a promise never to leave you, Mr. Frodo, and I don't inted to." *heartmelt* An honest, true hobbit.
9. Polly from an Old Fashioned Girl. I've always loved how she sticks to her convictions (most of the times) and refuses to give in to the city-life of her vivacios friend.
10. To ditto Lion's Emblem, Woody from Toy Story. It suddenly struck me that Woody never grew angry at Andy for picking Buzz over him several times. His loyalty is wonderful, and hearing Andy say it in the last movie was right-on.
RL Sibling: CSLewisNarnia
This is a hard topic(this isn't in ay order) i am going to do 2 at a time
Howard moon- from the mighty boosh, he doesn't care that he isn't cool and likes all things from the 50's and 60's, like his best friend vince.
Murray hewitt- from flight of the conchords, he is so far back in time that it isn't funny. He knows nothign of the 21st century.
O.K!
-Lee Carter from Son of rambow- Because that film is awesome and Lee Casrter is so funny AND its Will Poulter!
-Margot from school of comedy- Because the wartime sketches are sooo funny and she is played by a really talented actress!
-Yvain from Stardust- Because her character is really exciting and she is very cool in general. She is a star (Literally)
-Jean Grey from X-Men- Because I lobe the way she is dead and comes back to life as evil 'Dark Phoenix' and her character is complecated and has probably the best story line.
-Jasmine from Deltora Quest- Because her chacters back story is so sad and her individual character is very interesting.
-Jessie St.James from Glee- Because he is a character who is interesting and he sings alot of cool songs
-Dizzy in the book Dizzy- becasue I always empathise with her!
-Giselle in Enchanted- becasue she is so innocent and has a lot of cool songs
Narnia is childhood...
Seriously, just give the kid the orange. He needs his vitamin C!
This is a great idea for a topic, Ithilwen!
1. Samwise Gamgee (Lord of the Rings): “I made a promise never to leave you, Mr. Frodo, and I don’t intend to!” An honest, loyal, and steadfast hobbit, down to the very soul.
2. Fred & George Weasley (Harry Potter): Amusing, and always full of fun, they never cease to brighten my mood with their witty jokes and carefree nature.
3. Severus Snape (Harry Potter): A mysterious and intimidating character, his true loyalties are never discovered until the very end of the end. It’s nice to have a ‘gray character’ for a change – not black or white, neither clearly good nor clearly evil. He keeps the reader guessing.
4. Jo March (Little Women): Her audacity and spunk makes me smile.
5. Neville Longbottom (Harry Potter): An unlikely hero, but there is far more strength in him than meets the eye.
6. Puddleglum (Narnia): Hilarious. Grumpy and weak on the outside, but lionhearted on the inside. (“The bright side of it is… that if we break our necks getting down the cliff, then we’re safe from being drowned in the river!”)
7. Jewel (Narnia): A loyal and faithful friend.
8. Nynaeve al’Meara (Wheel of Time): A funny character, easily infuriated, and always dominating others. Full of spunk and nerve, she has an unbreakable will and makes sure to show it. But she has a good heart, regardless of the outer toughness.
9. Perrin Aybara (Wheel of Time): His battles are most often fought with himself, and he appears weak and timid to some. When it comes down to it, though, he has a stout heart and unwavering courage. He sticks to the right regardless of the consequences, and even though he often thinks himself silly and cowardly, he accomplishes great things.
10. Lan Mandragoran (Wheel of Time): A cool guy, both inside and out. He courts death without a second thought, but will never put a friend into danger if he can help it. There is more to him than the serious, austere character that meets the eye.
^^In no particular order.

6. Tess-Tess of the D'Urbervilles. She is such a wonderful, tragic character. So sweet and innocent, but ill used by almost everyone in her life.
7. Christian-Pilgrim's Progress. Love, love Christian. He is imperfect and fails over and over, but God still loves him and he makes it to the Celestial City.
8. Mr. Rochester-Jane Eyre. Ahh, Mr. Rochester. My first literary crush:) So dark and brooding, but loves Jane so much
9. David Copperfield-David Copperfield. Love David Copperfield. He is so sweet and goes through so many trials, but he still gets his happy ending:D
10. Lucy Pevensie-The Chronicles of Narnia. Lucy is so dear to my heart. She is a wonderful example of what it means to have a child-like faith. She is so sweet and steadfast. Wonderful character.
Wrong will be right when Aslan comes in sight / At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more / When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death / And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again
!. Frodo Baggins (LotR)
What's not to love? Hobbits are awesome, and this is the famousest of hobbits!
2. Pippin Took (LotR)
Because he is just so funny!
3. Caroline Taylor (Nancy Rue's Christian Heritage Series
She is a very cool character- even if she is a Tory. .
4. Smeagol
Because what other accent is as fun???
5. Corabeth Godsey (Waltons)
