Hmmm...this is a really tough one to answer. Two come to mind immediately. This was the late 70's...so on the one hand I did watch a big ol' pile of The Dukes of Hazzard. But my favorite (of all favorites when I was that age) would be Battlestar Galactica. "By your command".
Kennel Keeper of Fenris Ulf
ph and I also watched The Doughnut Man.....does that count?

I loved 'So Weird' a lot on the Disney Channel. I still do.
I wish it could come back on Disney or out on DVD. I miss it so much
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!
Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
Favourites were (these in no order):
Dragon Tales (We grew out of this one soon, though. Thanks to the many reruns. We were at a friend's house when it was playing and I recognised the episode from five years ago. And, also, the dilemmas grew less traumatic as we matured. )
Sesame Street
House of Mouse
Angelina Ballerina (when it was a sort of cartoon on PBS) Sweet memories of those Saturday mornings come back!
Tom and Jerry
Arthur
Clifford
---And then, when we got cable and I was some older:
That's So Raven
Phil of the Future
Even Stevens
Lizzy McGuire
The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (only the first and second seasons were amusing.)
Fairy Odd Parents
Out of the first list, the ones I'd still (or do still) watch because they're enjoyable in an aspect are Arthur, Clifford, Tom and Jerry, and Angelina Ballerina. I'd watch Sesame Street out of fun, but I'd be less interested in it.
Thanks to Netflix, I still watch a couple of the second list. But especially not Fairy Odd Parents; it makes me feel braindead and isn't really worth watching. The rest are all right, for the most part.

The Magic School Bus. Hands down. Aside from maybe one show, no other children-oriented show has been both so entertaining and also so educational as to make me quite interested in science.
(The "one show" is, if you couldn't guess, Bill Nye the Science Guy, which is definitely a fairly close second.)
That aside, I must give credit to Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right, both of which I watched a fair amount of in my childhood, for not only still being on air several years past my childhood, but also for still being among my favorite TV shows of all time (with Wheel being the favorite TV show of mine and is practically superglued to that spot).
"A Series of Miracles", a blog about faith and anime.

Ohhh I love Bill Nye the Science Guy! Thats up with Scooby and Meerkat Manor.
Shadowlander mentioned the Dukes of Hazzard. I like that show too although its more of a recent liking not so much as a kid.

"Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." -Richard Adams, Watership Down
I also forgot
Bill Nye the Science Guy
Angelina Ballerina
Clifford
Anne of Green Gables (PBS animated series- I LOVED this show )
Hmm, well the term 'kid' could be used pretty loosely. Let's see, I'll go with a range of ages for my favorite shows as a kid. I definitely didn't have just one favorite show:
Tale Spin
Rescue Rangers
Duck Tales
The Adventures of the Gummi Bears
Sesame Street
Reading Rainbow
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers
Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog
Animaniacs (just gets better with age)
Tiny Toon Adventures
Digimon
Bonkers
Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? (pretty funny to watch these on youtube and see the old school prizes for the runner up contestants).
Taz-Mania
Goof Troop
Arthur
Recess
Angela Anaconda
Ah, the good ole days of Saturday morning cartoons, what happened?

*was also a fan of Reading Rainbow and The Magic Schoolbus*
Especially the latter; remember the episode where the Bus went inside Arnold's (I think that was his name) digestive system? That made me terrified about swallowing gum for years.
I didn't watch too much TV as a little kid, but my favorites were Barney (back when it was good) and Clifford. I'd still like to live on Birdwell Island.
Did anyone else ever watch Shari Lewis's Lamb Chop? It went off the air when I was very small (no more than three or four), but I loved it while it was on. "This is the song that doesn't end..." Such fun.

Was I the only one who grew up with no TV? I don't think I even watched a movie until I was six or seven. I remember seeing Mr Dressup at my grandparents' a few times...
Oh, and the occasional Looney Tunes. The old ones are fabulous.

Oy. I don't think I can pick a favorite... so I'll just give a random list.
For my educational list, I'm going to go with FK's Reading Rainbow but I also really liked Wishbone, Magic Schoolbus, and Bill Ni the Science Guy (BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL.) I also loved Nature when it was one. I think that's part of the reason I'm a bit of an environmentalist today. That and my dad always recylced cans he found along the side of the road and made us turn out all the lights in rooms we weren't using.
For my non-educational list, I was obsessed with Beast Wars for a while. It was a brilliantly constructed spinoff of Transformers. I'm going to blame my older siblings for that one since we all watched it together. Also, Digimon, I almost forgot about that one! Good times. My brother and I also loved to watch Power Puff Girls and Dexter's Labratory when we traveled since my parents didn't have cable. I enjoyed Kim Possible.. but I suspect I was older by that point.
My favourites from childhood: (7 years old and up)
Captain Planet:
The fact that it was New Age/hyper-Greens propaganda was lost on us.
and
Monkey Magic:
A martial arts/comedy/drama Buddhist tale.
Currently watching:
Doctor Who - Season 11
In elementary school, I liked a lot of cartoons- may of which I now know are actually anime.
In middle school it was the Mexican show Carrusel.
In high school it was Captain Planet. And I just saw there is a huge Captain P

Ohhh I love Bill Nye the Science Guy!
oh! I nearly forgot about him! how could I? *smacks forehead with hand*
I watched him obsessivly when I was little! I remember watching episodes of his when they were new!
and I also forgot another one:
"Between The Lions"
I watched that one with my brothers and sister ALL the time!

Ooh, I forgot Looney Tunes and the animated PBS Anne of Green Gables. The latter was really fun, and is definitley what sparked my interest in AoGG. I wish I had read the books along with them.
And Looney Tunes are just great all the time. Tweety was my absolute favourite.
