For a long time Geri's Game was my favorite, but while I still love it- I think I might have another favorite:
Either For the Birds or One Man Band.
I also have a soft spot for Red's Dream, it's opening and end sequence I brilliant! the middle is not excellent but not bad.
johobbit-
if all else fails they do have a DVD with the collection of Pixar shorts you could rent,
I think that's up to Ratatouille's shorts, which means those from WALL E and Up aren't in the DVD. But not being an fan of animated movies this last info probably doesn't mean much- basically 3 or 4 shorts are missing in the collection.
I always liked Gerry's Game the best. It strikes me that this topic would have made for a pretty good poll as well.

There are too many amazing shorts from Pixar to pick out just one. My favorites include: Tin Toy, Geri's Game, Burn-E, For the Birds, Presto, Partly Cloudy, and One Man Band.
Tin Toy: just the storyline is so true and that's what makes it so funny.
Geri's Game: the concept is amazing and sets up a great ending.
Burn-E: I'm not much for the shorts that include characters from the full length films, but this one was pretty funny, and in a way, it did fit in with the full film.
For the Birds: great concept and hilarious throughout. I love the end title graphic.
Presto: funny throughout.
One Man Band: hilarious and has perfect timing and character acting to set the humor.
Partly Cloudy: great storyline with fun characters.

I haven't seen a whole lot, but of what I have seen my favorite would be 'one man band'

For The Birds, by far. It's sooooo ridiculously cute -- and actually has a good message too!

I didn't really like Boundin'....it was the only Pixar short that wasn't part of the movie that had words.
I LOVED For the Birds, Presto, Burn-e, and Jack-Jack Attack. I think those were my favorites.

I enjoyed all of them to different degrees but I thought Boundin' was horrible. My favourite shorts are the ones I'm wearing now. I mean 'For the Birds', 'Geri's Game', 'Jack-Jack Attack' and 'One Man Band'.

I love Pixar's shorts!
Geri's Game fascinated me when I was younger. The way Geri switched around and played against. . . himself. I was an odd child.
Presto was just fun! Others have listed the reasons for this much better then I can.
(Hmm, my favorite shorts go with my least favorite Pixars?)
I also like For the Birds (I heart the goofy big bird ) and Partly Cloudy (it was a novel idea).
We don't have an abundance of Pixar DVDs at home. Like, erm, just one—Finding Nemo.
Really? I would have thought you'd like Pixar films.

Okay thanks to the people who knew the name for the chess short because I couldn't remember at first what it was. Gerry's Game, yes it is my all time favorite I love it. Playing for his teeth

Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
It's so hard to pick a favorite, but it seems I'm in the majority that Gerry's Game is my favorite! But For the Birds is pretty good too.
Love God, love people
My favourite is the magic rabbit one and least favourite the chess game.
About Boundin'
I agree with those that disliked it. Of course me being the huge Pixar fan that I am keep trying to really like it, and it has grown on me but not a lot.
Their earlier "tests" which are on the Pixar Shorts dvd are the only one I am fine saying I don't like. Those weren't "real" shorts after all.
I didn't dislike bounding i just foudn it really random. I haven't seen it in a while though and can't completley remember it.
I agree about Boundin', ILF. I've only watched it once and it did very little for me. Luxo Jr. is of course a classic, but I also love For the Birds (it won the Oscar), Presto, and One Man Band (hilarious, and it has some beautiful visuals too). Mike's New Car is a very underrated Monsters Inc. short, and has me in stitches every time. But I think Gerry's Game is my favorite. I love that old man, and it made me so very happy when he showed up in Toy Story 2.
