So the other mods and I were chatting about Pixar movies today, which inspired this fun thread... What is your favorite Pixar Short?
For the Birds?
Lifted?
One Man Band?
Knick Knack?
Personally, I think my favorite has to go to Presto. Loved the bunny. LOL
If you're not super familiar with Pixar's short films, (which I'm not to be honest) they can be found on Pixar's site here.
My favorite is definitely For The Birds. I laughed so hard I cried the first time I saw it. The cute tiny birds are so malevolent and the big bird is so goofy.
I think you forgot Boundin'.
edit: Oh I see; you weren't listing them all, just providing a few titles. My apologies.
I didn't forget Boundin. I just didn't list it cause there are waaaaay too many to name. Pixar's website that I linked above has all of them.
EDIT: Hehe, no worries.
For me it's between Lifted and Presto, though I lean a bit towards Presto. I'm not a big fan of the Cars shorts. I can't put my finger on why.

My favorite is probably Your Friend the Rat . It's so...educational .
I love Jack-Jack Attack, because it continues the story of the film. My favourite pre-movie short is probably Lifted - I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. I guess it's because at the time I was learning to drive, and I have had some interesting experiences with mixing boards ...
Oh man... how to choose?! I'm torn between Presto, Jack-Jack Attack, and For the Birds. I'd probably have to say Presto. It was just...hilarious.

I'd forgotten about Jack Jack!! That one makes me laugh out loud!
That reminds me, there's a Wall-E short that I adore too.

Lifted and Presto are tied as my favorite Pixar short. Presto was a nice homage to the old Looney Tunes cartoons with Bugs Bunny.
Lifted was a complete surprise and I laughed so hard when I saw it. Great!

Uh, I've never seen any Pixar shorts, not being a huge fan of animated films. So, I'm going to show my ignorance: where does one see them? Before a full-length Pixar film? DVD extras? Online? Elsewhere? EDIT: We don't have an abundance of Pixar DVDs at home. Like, erm, just one—Finding Nemo.

Pixar Shorts are some of the very best parts of Pixar films! I haven't watched all of them, and don't recall the titles of others I watched but I think Partly Cloudy is my favourite right now. It was rather sweet, and heart-felt. The little cloud was adorable, and the whole puffy, sentimental atmosphere struck my fancy right away.
Knick-Knack makes me so unstatisfied and impatient!
Jack-Jack Attack... I've seen that one, for sure, but don't remember it very well.
Jo, you can view Pixar Shorts by going to Menu>Bonus/Special Features, I believe; those are vague instructions, but the title should be pretty clear where it's at.

I like the one with the old guy playing chess by himself. I think it came on before 'A Bug's Life'. I dont know but it always made me laugh
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!
Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
My favorite is Gerry's Game (The old guy playing chess with himself for his own teeth). It's simply hilarious, and I can't help but laugh whenever I see it. These short films are genius in concept and execution, and I just love them.

I also love For the Birds, Jack Jack Attack, and Presto...ooh and Burn-e too- it's so funny!
Got to go for One-Man-Band. Just for the music they put with it. It's so big and yet so small at the same time. I love music, its usually the best part of any movie (John Williams is the man!) and I just love the concept of taking two guys and just making music for the fun of it.
