I love all of SWitchfoot's CDs, but "The Beautiful Letdown" is always going to be my favorite I am so excited for "Vice Verses"!

I'd have to say it's a tie between Nothing is Sound and Oh! Gravity. They have such amazing songs like Lonely Nation, The Blues, Daisy, Faust, Let Your Love Be Strong, Dirty Second Hands, etc.
The new songs like Restless and Dark Horses are really good! Restless is one of my favorite songs by them already! I like the live version WAY better than the radio edit though, because it has so much more power behind it. They took all the intense parts out of the radio edit. You can listen to it here.
There is also a song called Everything Will Change in Time that someone just found that was made in the pre- Beautiful Letdown era. I really like it, even if it isn't fantastic cause it's kinda what I needed to hear when they found it.

It's awesome that there's a variety of favorites - shows how excellent they are. I really love all of them, so it's hard to have a favorite, but because of all the songs I love on Oh! Gravity, and because I really like how they developed in Hello Hurricane . . yeah. Thanks everyone!!
Restless is . . interesting . . I don't like it particularly. Does anyone have a link to Dark Horses?

As most of you know David Crowder Band is nearing and end. (I found out here myself). Their final album will be released January 10, 2012, but before that- on October 4, 2011- they will release their first ever Christmas CD titled Oh For Joy.
Oh For Joy will include eight Christmas classics such as “Joy To The World,” “O Holy Night,” “Silent Night” and more, presented with the band’s distinct mark, final track listing below.

Really? That's sad 'cause they have some pretty good stuff. I especially like their album Church Music.
I think of all the Switchfoot albums, Nothing is Sound is my favorite sound-wise. Message-wise I'd have to say Oh! Gravity and Hello Hurricane.

Leeland has released a 3 song EP, all of which will be featured on the full album releasing 9/20. The title track is one of the three released.
Okay, I didn't really like Restless, but I really like Dark Horses. It sounds a lot more switchfooty, and I really got into it when I first listened to it. Love the lyrics.

Does anyone else have Aaron Shust's new CD, This Is What We Believe? It's amazing! I love the whole CD, although I do have a few favorites ; My Hope Is In You, Never Been A Great Love, and Wondrous Love. TIWWB is similiar to his first CD, Anything Worth Saying.
And my brother got The Beginning: A Kutless Anthology. Some of the songs are really loud and there's are just right, so we're really enjoying having a new artist to listen to.

Just bought MercyMe's The Worship Sessions CD. Exclusively at Family Christian Bookstores. Popular worship songs and classic hymns.
Hosanna I have from Hillsong.
My Glorious I have from Delirious?
Mighty to Save I have from Michael W Smith, Hillsong, Jeremy Camp
In Christ Alone I have from Adrienne Liesching, Newsboys.
Come Thou Fount I have from Mark Schultz
There is a Fountain I have from Selah
In some cases the others do it better, in some MercyMe, in some just about the same. The other 5 songs I only have from this CD and enjoy them very much.
I like some of David Crowder Band*'s stuff; might like more if i heard it. I liked their cover of "All Around Me" by Flyleaf better than the original, actually. It was very ... different.
Haven't heard too much by Switchfoot. I like a few of their songs, but not all.
Came in here, though, because i've been listening to the classical piece "Scheherazade" (Symphonic Suite, Op. 35, composed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov). It's long - the youtube clip i'm listening to is 43min 10sec - but very good. Anyone familiar with it?

@Arwenel Which songs have you heard?
Gildor_Inglorion, i take it you mean songs by Switchfoot?
I liked "Your Love is a Song", "Only Hope", and "Gone". "Dare You to Move" is okay. I know there's more i've heard, but those are the only ones coming to mind right now.

@Arwenel Hmmm... Have you heard Awakening, The Sound, or Dark Horses? They're my favorites.
Switchfoot's new record is streaming now: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/thelife/ ... id=6944961 (all except for the last track, which isn't going to be unveiled early, for some reason)
I just started listening a few minutes ago... The War Inside totally reminds me of Mutemath. I'm curious to hear what you all think after you've listened through it!!
I've been listening to Bon Iver a ton lately. Both of his albums are amazing... but I especially love Perth from the latest record. And their live session on daytrotter.com has a breathtaking version of Lump Sum. Definitely my biggest obsession at the moment....
I've also enjoyed Monoculture by Tooth & Nail's recently signed band Sainthood Reps. They're like a mixture of Brand New and mewithoutYou. Hunter is a great song.
It's sad though because I hardly have any time to listen to music now that I'm at a conservatory... I mainly listen to myself all day which is often less enjoyable
