Oooh, TobyMac! he's probably the one artist I've seen the most times in concert... I really like his music because it has a lot of influences from all over the place while still sounding original...

Skillet got a new guitarist for Ben's place... his name's Jonathan Salas... I found a vid of him playing on the tour

Anyone on here like Brandon Heath? My little sister is thinking about getting one of his CDs, and I was wondering if y'all could recommend one.

The other day I was on youtube looking for the song "Give Us Clean Hands" and found Kutless's acoustic version. I love it! It's one of my new favorite songs. Even my older brother likes it, and he's pretty picky when it comes to music.

Brandon Heath is very good! His most popular song to date is by far Give Me Your Eyes which is on his second CD: What If We.

I've heard other songs on the CD that I really like to, but I haven't heard the majority of it so I can't speak for it. but Give Me Your Eyes is a terrific song!!

On another note:
I just bought myself tickets for the upcoming Third Day concert with Tenth Avenue North. It's for May 21. Can't wait! :D

For anyone interested in Switchfoot, lead singer Jon Foreman put up a new song with demo & lyrics called "Tomorrow's Song" on his twitter which he put on sound cloud. It's also on a fan site called Land Of Broken Hearts here.

Puddleglum32, I love Switchfoot (obviously from my post above! :p) and Relient K, too. I only have one song from Mumford & Sons though called "Roll Away Your Stone", & I really like it! Are there any other songs like that one?

I'm quite obsessed with Coldplay and LIGHTS right now! *sigh* Such beautiful songs! LIGHTS is kinda like Owl City, but the lyrics are more like an alternative rock bands. I really don't know how to describe it. :p I'm pretty much obsessed with the entire album called The Listening". Every song is amazing! "River" & "The Last Thing On Your Mind" are probably the catchiest ones. But still, she's really good. The ones I'm most obsessed with right now by Coldplay are:

-Don't Panic
-Talk
-Swallowed in The Sea
-The Goldrush
-42
-Violet Hill
-Strawberry Swing :x
-Rainy Day

I really love Coldplay... :p

My friend told me about a small indie-pop band that goes to her church called "Ivan & Alyosha". Their new EP "Father's Be Kind" is amazing! It's all slower acoustic songs that are really catchy! My favorites are "Father's Be Kind", "Everything Is Burning", & "Glorify". It sounds very country, but it's not annoying! :p If you're interested, they're on I-Tunes. :)

w4J: It's good to see some love for DC Talk. I grew up listening to them and while I miss them, their break up was probably for the best, it would be weird to hear their sound updated for today's musical tendencies.

puddleglum32: *sigh* Isn't Mumford & Sons wonderful? I would love to see them live one day; I hear it's incredible. I love the neo-folk movement and theirs is some of the best. Some of my favorites are "The Cave" and "Dustbowl Dance" and "Awake My Soul."

The Pendragon: How cool that you know someone who knows Ivan & Alyosha. We featured them on TheAlbumProject a bit ago and they really stuck out to me. They're a bit like Mumford & Sons really, with the indie folk sound, but they're a bit poppier. And their name is a shameless literary reference. ;))

I really like what I've heard of him - but I haven't actually listened to one of his CD's, but I would say What if We. :)

That's awesome! I almost went to one of those concert . . :(
I've just started listening to a little bit of An Epic No Less, and it's excellent! Like a mix between Owl City and Relient K, I really love it!

Yes Puddleglum32! Switchfoot ftw! Actually I was in class the other day and we were talking about the Philippines and I said that I wish I was a Fontamillas and looked a bit silly, but it was funny... Any new news on their new album? I'm kinda slightly behind on my Switchfoot news ;))

Libby, I didn't know what good music was when Ben joined the band, but he does look young, actually on his info page on facebook it says he's a music prodigy or something like that... and he sings too!
