Last Monday, I got Move by Third Day. I love it. My favorite songs are Children of God, Trust in Jesus, and Gone. Right now I'm listening to Sound Of Your Voice.

Ocean Eyes was on sale for $1.99 on Amazon the other day, so I bought it and I have been listening to it like crazy since. I'd heard most of the songs already, but now I'm getting to hear the ones that I didn't know very well. My favorites from the album are On the Wing, Umbrella Beach, Fireflies, and I also like Vanilla Twilight and Tip of the Iceberg.
I also got Brielle from An Airplane Carried Me to Bed.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone on here ever heard of Josh Wilson? I'm pretty much in love with his music right now. He's a Christian artist with a pretty good voice, and he's amazing on the guitar! He plays quite a few other instruments as well. I think what I like most about his music is how he has really good lyrics and music, but the lyrics are not overpowered by the music. A few of my favorites by him are Before the Morning, Savior Please, 3 Minute Song, and his instrumental version of Amazing Grace is just... wow! His new single, I Refuse, is pretty cool too.
Before the Morning is the first song that I heard by him, and it is especially meaningful for me because I was going through a rough spot that morning, then that song came on and the lyrics just meant so much to me right then! It was amazing! (Thank goodness the radio station told what the song was called and who the artist was or I might never have found it again. ;)) )

Oh, I love "Before the Morning", flam! If it's the right one that I'm thinking of... And "Savior Please" is good too. :D Haven't heard anything else though.

I've only heard to Josh Wilson songs and think both are awesome:
Savior Please and Sing

Last Monday, I got Move by Third Day. I love it. My favorite songs are...Trust in Jesus....

I'm taking that CD slowly, Lift Up Your Face is pretty good, have the video to it too.
Don't Give Up Hope and I'll Be Your Miracle are very nice songs as well. But my favorite so far is Trust in Jesus. I haven't heard anything else yet off the CD, and before I do- I will have to redo the ones I have done. :)

Woohoo! Coldplay's very excellent song "Christmas Lights" has been released in both song and very fun music video form.

I saw Eisley in concert and they were absolutely phenomenal. Man, can those ladies sing.

Well! Happy December 1st everyone! I love December because that means that it is time for LISTS! Lots and lots of lists! And one of my favorite December lists is the "My top ten albums of 2010" list. So, I want to see all the albums you liked from 2010. I'll probably do mine entirely from albums that actually came out in 2010, but if you want to do your top enjoyed albums of 2010 no matter what year they came out, that's fine too.

It's a great CD, the lyrics are just what you expect from Mac Powell. And even though my Mom and some of my siblings don't like the drums and eletric guitars, I do. :D Kind of makes it hard to listen sometimes, 'cause they almost always want me to turn it down! (or totally off ;) )

Just beware - Make Your Move is definitely loud. It didn't make ESPN for nuthin'. :D

wow! that's awesome for Needtobreathe :)
good for them, they've been crossing over to mainstream music without changing the message in their songs. Gotta give it to them!

I loved their song 'Shine On'. Great!
As for Josh Wilson, the only one of his I have right now is 'Savior, Please', which I just love. But I've heard 'Before the Morning' on the radio and liked it. 3 Minute Song was good too.
In honor of the season, I will list my favorite Christmas songs, in no particular order:
How Many Kings--Downhere
Strange Way to Save the World--4Him
Breath of Heaven--Amy Grant
I Need A Silent Night--Amy Grant
Mary Did You Know--Michael English
You gotta get up--Rich Mullins
Christmas is all in the heart--Steven Curtis Chapman.
This baby--Steven Curtis Chapman.
So everyone go ahead and say which Christmas songs they like best! (Note, these are all my favorites to hear, not to sing. My favorites to sing are O Come All Ye Faithful, Joy to the World, and The Twelve Days of Christmas.)

The glory of God is man fully alive--St. Iraneus
Salvation is a fire in the midnight of the soul-Switchfoot

On the subject of Josh Wilson, he's an amazing artist! If you ever get the chance to see him live, it's definitely worth it! He's as good, or better, live than he is on his albums.

My top ten albums of 2010:

1. Brooke Fraser, "Flags"
2. Andrew Peterson, "Counting Stars"
3. Jack Johnson, "To The Sea"
4. House of Heroes, "Suburba"
5. Ben Rector, "Into The Morning"
6. The Classic Crime, "Vagabonds"
7. Sara Bareilles, "Kaleidoscope Heart"
8. James Morrison, "Songs For You, Truths For Me"
9. Zac Brown Band, "You Get What You Give"
10. Dave Barnes, "What We Want, What We Get"

And a few of my favorite Christmas songs:

Ben Rector's version of "Auld Lang Syne" (actually, I'd recommend his entire Christmas EP, Jingles and Bells)
Needtobreathe's version of "Go Tell It On The Mountain"
"The Night Before Christmas" by Brandon Heath
"Blue Sky Christmas Eve" by Andrew Ripp
"Our Christmas Prayer" by Plus One
Third Day's version of "Do You Hear What I Hear?"

Ok, well I made my list:
Best Albums
10. I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business- The World We Know
9. Fair-Disappearing World
8. Gatlin Elms- Carry Me Home
7. Young the Giant- Young the Giant
6. The Graduate- Only Every Time
5. Hellogoodbye- Would It Kill You?
4. Mumford & Sons- Sigh No More
3. Jonsi- Go
2. Lakes- The Agreement
1. Anberlin-Dark Is the Way, Light is a Place

Best EP’s (7 Songs or Less)

5. Quiet Company - Songs for Staying In
4. States - Line ‘Em Up
3. GoNorthToGoSouth – EP1
2. Fort Christmas - Fort Christmas EP
1. Dustin Ruth - Learn How to Love Someone

Honorable Mentions: Brooke Fraser and Lissie

Edit: Aaron Gillespie released his first track from his upcoming worship project and I can say that I'm very surprised, but I don't like it. It has a strange dance beat and the lyrics are meant well, but all over the place and not remotely original and the melody is way too cliche for Aaron. I hope the rest of his project is better.
