Sorry I dissapeared for a while. I've been pretty busy lately.
Technically he has two CDs and an EP,but I bought the EP in CD form. His first CD is called "Maybe I'm Dreaming" and the EP is called "Of June".
Oh ok. Never heard of either of those. I think I need to listen to more of his stuff. he's pretty cool.
Oh,and I forgot to post this link earlier.*facepalm* You can get a free download of their song "Shoreline". http://www.purevolume.com/deasvail
And to answer your question about what their music is like,Kate already took care of that. (thank you,Kate!)
I got that song. I also found "Birds" and "Cages" for free download. All three of those are very good. "Shoreline" has great piano. I know this is going to make me sound like a sissy but I cried while listening to that song, it was so beautiful.
sloopjohn: Deas Vail plays what I suppose you'd call melodic indie/rock. They're excellent. It's hard to describe, but they have lots of piano, incredible vocals, lots of instrumental texture and are generally amazing. (As an aside, we know you like RK, but do you like the Beach Boys? I don't think anyone has asked you that, yet it's an obvious question.)
I really like them so far . I think I'll check out more of their songs sometime. The Beach Boys are cool. I don't have any of their CDs, but some of their songs are on my iPod. I had "Kokomo" stuck in my head the other day .
Glenstorm the Great: I saw that you posted about Phil Wickham. He's a great singer. I love his stuff. I have all of his CDs and I've been to two of his concerts .

MercyMe,
"completing" album ob iTunes. I already had All of Creation.
I noticed also that TAN's single The Truth is Who You Are is available now too, that's the one I liked.
^^ can you tell me why Mercyme's new CD is called "The Generous Mr. Lovewell"? I don't get it.....

I know the Cd has a song of the same name, only heard it once last night though.
For sure the name comes from here, but who is this generous Mr. Lovewell? I have a guess, but I don't want to throw something random out there. When I get home I will watch a video that itunes has "exclusively" for those who download the full album.
I think it's called that b/c they're saying that who God is. He generously (or graciously) loves us well. They're having a challenge to "love well" actually. You're supposed to send in stories of how you've "loved well" or something like that...sounds cool!

You are so lucky! He's so great! I hope to get Heaven and Earth soon, but I really want Cannons too! Is he really good in concert? I've heard he is! Ack you're so lucky!
Btw I'm glad you're liking Deas Vail. Check out Atlantis, The Great Physician, The Leaper, A Lover's Charm, and Excuses.
narnian1: sounds like you are just as confused about the title as I am!
GTG: good point! that could be the reason for the title.....

I guess I wasn't too far off. My guess was along the lines of what GtG said, only I wasn't sure at all since I hadn't heard the meaning told by them but I can't imagine anyone else it could be.
EDIT:
Ok, while GtG had a valid reason for the title, and it's what I thought- it's not exactly what they had in mind.
Mr. Lovewell is a fictional character, that should represent all of us, christians. Society, they said, has one meaning for love- but the biblical meaning means so much more. So each one of us as christians must show are love, and show it well. If I really love you as the bible tells me too, how can I not tell you what changed my life? Therefore this fictional characters goes out everyday trying to make a difference in the world- only he probably never even leaves his city or neighborhood. Because to make a difference we don't need to go to the other side of the world- at home we have people who need us as well.
that's a very good title, and meaning behind it...I want to get this CD (eventually!)
narnian1: that's a good title for a CD then! thanks for finding out!

I wrote a review on Phil Wickham's CD "Heaven and Earth"

So the show last night was really good. As far as live experiences go it was the best show I've been to. fun., although I don't like them that much, sounded great! Nate Ruess has quite a unique voice. They played about 5 songs.
Relient K played mostly new stuff, which was cool. Sahara was awesome live The other new songs they played were Therapy, Candlelight/Flare, Forget And Not Slow Down, and I Don't Need A Soul. They opened with Who I Am Hates Who I've Been and played Be My Escape near the end. They also played The One I'm Waiting For (it was SUPER fun.) And then they ended with Devastation and Reform. So yeah, not really much old stuff in there... only stuff from mmhmm and later. But it was great. I talked with Ethan and John afterwards. John is so incredibly nice. I was going to meet Jon but I had to leave before he got to the merch (since I was with a friend and she had to get home). If we had waited a bit longer he probably would have been there. He tweeted me before the show started and said I should come say hi afterwards... but he didn't get to the table early enough before we left So I was rather bummed but it was still a great night.
Paramore wasn't bad at all. They definitely had the most energy. Hayley is insane, haha. But the people who were screaming after they played their songs were about 100x louder than when they were actually playing. Practically everyone was there for Paramore. It was like some kind of cult or something... nearly all of the audience was wearing Paramore shirts And Ali, nobody threw anything weird on the stage, but they did throw two shirts and a dress on stage..and Hayley put on the dress for one song. (She said it was all sweaty. ew. haha) It was a zebra print dress and she was already wearing zebra skinny jeans so she looked quite comical. I don't really understand the point but yeah... haha.
Sahara was awesome live
ah I NEED to see them do this live!
They also played The One I'm Waiting For (it was SUPER fun.)
yeah even though I don't love that song, they play it AWESOME live. They opened with it at the concert I went to .
And then they ended with Devastation and Reform.
aaah LOVE this song, especially live

good . Lol that's kinda funny . So did you take any pics of the concert?
nice graphics, btw
everyone has to watch this Skillet video! I didn't even know that "Looking For Angels had a video until now! it's really good!

I have been listening to MercyMe's lastest Album since I bought it. I finally think I heard enough to know that I love it! From start to finish it is an excellent effort by this band that has already brought us many wonderful songs in the past.
I posted a review on it on my newly created blog, I hope you all take some time to read it: http://perez09jose.blogspot.com/2010/05/music-generous-mr-lovewell.html
^read the review and the CD sounds really great! I think I'll movie it up my "Cds to Buy" list
Libby: cool vid!
Yesterday I spent a few hours downloading every single video of TRS and TAN that I found on their channels and putting them on my iPod. All the videos are pretty hilarious
Does anyone get my new location?
